Thanks! I'm telling you, the metal lathe is one of the best purchases I've made. I'm by no means a "machinist". But I love the flexibility it adds to the shop. If I need a bushing, spacer, or random odd part, I just make it. No searching the internet; no waiting for delivery. Once you can weld and machine a part, the possibilities are endless.
@@planbuilduse5994 , I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on a plasma / router cnc machine for my shop. I've always wanted to combine metal and wood working in my projects and designs. Every time I think I have found a deal on a metal lathe I'm either strapped or it sells before I can make the deal. Lol If you decide you ever want to make and sell one of those, I'd be interested. Great video and explanation in the narration 👍
Great project and video.
Thanks!
Well done!
Thanks!
Nice work. I make the brass piece and then cover it with hardwood....Cheers, Jim Jakosh
Nice work..
Thanks!
That's awesome! I want one of those! 👍
If I had a metal lathe I could do some damage 😁

@@Ronsparks1006 Will do. And thanks again!
Great video. I always presumed that the wheel on the end rotated. Perhaps that would be a good modification, tiny bearing mounted wheel.
They do rotate on most, but it’s not absolutely essential.
