    The stuttering, stammering delivery is absolute genius! And I love how sometimes you slowly fade certain parts. And package all of that comedic punch with a sort of naivete and curiosity of a foreigner in a foreign country. Ismo you are truly brilliant lad! Keep up the good work! Hope you pop by Canada soon!

    • @voidstarq
      @voidstarq 2 роки тому +39

      That's the self-deprecating Finnish sense of humor for you.
      He uses the stuttering, and his accent and just-slightly-"off" grammar, to emphasize his position as a foreigner observing American culture from the outside, and his sense of bemusement at what he's seeing. And then lampshades it by using the word so naturally a couple times ("I didn't know shit." ... "I had to study that shit.")
      An American comedian could try doing a bit on the same observations, and if they're good enough, maybe they could make it work, but it would never be anywhere near as funny.
      Maybe I'm biased (being half Finnish), but I don't know if it could work quite so well for someone from any other country either. (Possibly India? I don't know.)

      He doesn't even have to say anything funny, when he just talks it's funny, or when he doesn't talk. Students would be laughing when he gets to "good morning". Lessons would be hilarious.

    It made me think that when one says, "To take a sh*t" it actually means to leave a sh*t because you're not taking it with you afterwards.

    Very nice to see how his style of humor has evolved. Back in the day his skit included chuckling a lot at his own jokes which felt like a laugh track, which I thought was shit.
    But now he's the shit.
