  • There are a lot of ways to damage our skin-from baking in the sun for hours, to using harsh soaps, or even consuming too much sugar and dairy.
For most people, glowing, radiant skin isn’t genetic, it’s something that they work at every single day. Do you find yourself putting the work in and not getting results? Let’s take a look at these very common beauty mistakes that you could be making:
💤 Sleeping in Makeup - I’m sure you can remember your mom, grandma, or aunt telling you not to sleep with your makeup on, and for good reason! Sleeping in makeup may cause premature wrinkles and ageing, as well as clogging your pores resulting in acne.
👀 Rubbing Your Eyes - did you know the skin around the eyes is the most thin and delicate skin that you have? By constantly rubbing your eyes, you may cause damage like dark circles and wrinkles.
🥑 Not Consuming Enough Healthy Fat - Omega-3 and Omega-6 Fatty Acids are important when it comes to the health of your skin. Omega-3s help to nourish the skin, helping it appear more radiant. Omega-6s may help with preventing dryness and keeping the skin hydrated.
💦 Not Hydrating Properly - it’s safe to assume we’ve all had dry skin before. It looks flaky, dull, and, well, dry. These signs may mean your skin is dehydrated, and you may need to consume more water. Hydrated, healthy skin appears smooth, radiant, and has an even tone.
🤦‍♀️ Skipping Collagen - aren’t you tired of hearing me talk about collagen? 😂 Collagen is a MUST for healthy skin. Collagen gives the skin strength and elasticity, making you look younger by decreasing the production of wrinkles and sagging skin.
