Definitely has the focus issues (likely a faulty calibrated lens that cant be fixed by supposed firmware updates) most users are reporting on the Official DJI Osmo Action 3 Forum.
Well done. Loved the food shots. Did you use a tripod while shooting yourself? Were can you purchase extra mounting clips if we decide to get this camera. We can't seem to find them. Thanks for sharing.
The lens features (standard/wide etc) and especially colour profile is what I was interested in finding out about - your video clarifies it all. Thanks.
What is the file size compared to Hero 10 or 11? It seems to me that DJI cameras use more memory card space. Anyway it seems nice. Lens a bit too wide.
Honestly, it's hard to compare the file sizes because it depends on the settings you have activates. GoPro files can be bigger if you shoot in 5.3K, 10-bit color.
@@Gemini_Connect thanks. I'd be interested in knowing the actual file size difference with both at 4k 60fps and 2.7k 60fps. Not sure i need 5.3k, unless i wanted high res stills from the footage.
@@corei51 if the crab sign wasn’t sharp, that would be a major problem. If her face is not in focus, it’s because there is a larger sensor. A close focus add on filter would solve the problem.
Looks like DJI dropped the ball on their calibration with their cameras. I'm testing mine out too and it looks like you need to keep the camera at a decent distance away to get any sort of normal focusing and even then it is not 100%
Hi, love the video. Just a question though... been seeing more and more youtube reviews popping up where bloggers/reviewers were flagging the focus issue on the new DJI Action 3. Did you or are you also encountering this issue? Hope you could let us know in your tests.
This sample vlog was part of my testing (which is still on-going). A bunch of folks are commenting about the focus being an issue in this video, and I have to agree that it's an issue at times. Not sure how to overcome it though, as there's no focus toggle or setting.
Thanks for doing the video--I thought it all looked pretty good. Filters add a nice touch. I'm thinking I'll keep my DJI OA3 and plan to get some footage of my fall motorcycle ride through Canyon Lake this weekend with some buddies. I'll also be mixing some mini 3 drone footage in so it should give me a better idea of what I think of this new camera. Thanks. Subbed!
