Public opinion in Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova 'very much pro-European' in face of Russian interference

- The European Union on Tuesday launched membership talks with Ukraine, a decade after Russian troops seized the Crimean Peninsula to deter the country from moving closer to the West, part of a chain of events that set the two neighbors on the path to war. Ukraine’s accession negotiations were set in motion at an intergovernmental conference in Luxembourg. Just a few hours later, Moldova also launched its membership talks. While the events are a major milestone on their European paths, the talks could take years to conclude. As Ukraine and Moldova launch EU membership talks, FRANCE 24's Mark Owen is joined by Thorniké GORDADZE, Franco-Georgian academic and researcher at the Jacques Delors Institute and Georgia's former Minister of Europe.

Why does Moldova fail to comprehend why the West is interested in
>>"Public opinion in Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova 'very much pro-European' in face of Russian interference."
One thing we can be absolutely sure of is that in contrast, neither the EU nor the US has interfered in either Ukraine, Georgia or Moldova.
Yes Tinkabell and soon Peter will come and take us all to Never Ever land ?
Nice sarcasm
I hope to soon be able to welcome all three, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine into the EU. I know it will take years. Hopefully not too many.
Keep on the lines of lies going 😅😅😅
On or about 24, June 2023 Yevgeny Prigozhin released a statement on his March for Justice (to Moscow sortof): "the war in Ukraine was based on a set of false premises, there were no Nazi's threatening Russia from Ukraine, and NATO was not trying to threaten Russia in any way." Putin and his Russian oligarch supporters wanted the Ukrainian industrial base in the Donbas, the skilled, educated population that came with it and the mineral wealth underneath it. There was nothing Ukraine could have done short of giving it away that would have prevented Russia's war on Ukraine, absolutely nothing!
Thanks for talking about us
If you noticed, they always say Ukraine’s “ SYMBOLIC Path “ towards NATO or EU and never guaranteed…….which basically means bullshiiiiiit. Theyre just giving Ukraine the run-around notions. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤷♂️
realty workability possible 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Sure, now. So was Poland and Hungary
In Russia 15 year old arseny turbin has been sentenced to 5 years for being critical of the Putin regime. Who would want to be part of this type of regime of terror, with no basic freedoms left?
It will be so good to have Ukraine in the EU camp. One big happy family and a strong, value based, democratic, rule based Union of civilized countries. We can then oppose all the autocracies, along with our friend the USA.
You actually believe that crap?
@@bps7209 sarcasm my friend, just sarcasm
@@akap_987 gotcha 😂
Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia may join the EU but they need to fix their countries first
They long for the diversity
To ban media is usual in a dictatorship country where fantasies are its reality. We talk about Absurdia country 😂😂😂
Georgia new law is best thing for Georgia, if that law was introduced in other Eastern European countries, NATO would never expand and Ukraine wouldn't be destroyed.
@@johnroscoe2406 That is sky news description. What is your own?
He’s telling the TRUTH but Ukies don’t want to hear the truth but only FANTASIES. 🤦♂️🤣
Is the EU a trade bloc or a military bloc?
EU is the PR wing of NATO
Both. Though only defensive, just like NATO.
EU is only an economic union its NATO that has Russia worried that’s a military alliance
For now it is. Thanks to Russia and Trump that might start to change
Actually the EU has a stronger collective defense clause than NATO article 5.
@@alexbakker8785 So I guess you don't need NATO then, right?
