    Use a wok for better stirring n do not add taugeh too soon. It will lose its crunch.

      I bought it from wet market. U can just blend dried chilies for the chilie paste

    your pan is not hot enough. Got to max out the induction heat for CKT....if not the flavour will not be strong.

    The step two... I think you should put all the ingredients except for the veggies and kuew tiaw. Coz it will be too soggy when you cook it like that. The chilli are not cook enough.

    I need to see the fire 🔥 cooking food.....I just hate this kind of stoves..... When the egg was poured in.... It shows the pan was not hot...

      @@PhilVieStory I once passed by a kitchen of a Penang restaurant n I saw steamed minced garlic n lobak, that minced preserved radish, together in a Tupperware n I asked the help what is that for n she replied for Penang kuehtiew..... that I taught could be that secret ingredient!!

      @@auntycovid7507 oh.. i do find some stall add preserved radish together with minced garlic.. original shouldn't have preserved radish. main would be cockles, prawns and lap cheong.. flavouring i guess it depends on the one that cook it..

      Fish cakes not nice. Don't put. Add prawns. Last fried cook red sausage slices

    Fish sauce? It’s not chinese cooking sauce… as far as I know, actually “Penang” char keow Teow don’t use fish sauce.
    Fish sauce used by Thai, Cambodian…
    It’s not harm to use it :) but you should put as Penang Char Keow Teow.

    Act the oil was too less for the prawn to b cooked well....can add a bit of turmeric to let the smell gone.....😊

      @@jyap2088 maybe he prefer 2 prawns only since he is cooking for himself but in penang, they add lots of prawn and use wok hei for good taste
