- In observance of Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut, Don Jon, opening this Friday, we bring you all the sins we could find in Premium Rush, which may go down in history as the second best bike messenger thriller ever made.
Tomorrow: Another video diary ("everything wrong with my day")
Thursday: Another sins video, something many of you have been pestering us to cover.
Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we recount next? Merch: teespring.com/...
After working as a delivery biker in Chicago for around 8 months, I can tell you that there are 'bicycle bars.' Its an actual thing. As for the flash mob, I never got called away to harass a detective.
Nahh
clearly you just weren't a part of the "in" crowd. they do detective harassment once every 2 weeks
4 months late on my response lol, but everyone worked really weird hours, so it's no so much a 'biker bar,' it was more of 'we were always the only ones there.'
I can back this claim
There is still time.
5:49 so we're just gonna ignore that?
ok
That shoulda been a sin instead of the detectives random talking ones
+hotduelist true. The detective one wasn't really that big of a deal to me.
well hes dead so...... yeah
dracson237 ii
I thought I was the only one. The cab is a dick to other drivers. *Ding*
There was a deleted scene in this movie, that the kid finds a package, it turns out to be a bomb and wipes out the entire city, and the kid gets electric powers.....
Or was that something else.
Infamous lol
david wright obviously that's what he was talking about
HAHAHAHAHa Well played, HAHAHAHAHA Well played
😂😂😂😂😂👏👏 funny
This made my day
Jaimie Chung does this really bad chinese accent throughout the movie but speaks mandarin with her regular american accent... *ding*
Mandarine...
R3fug33 im too lazy to fix the typo lol
No, the word is mandarin. You're stupid.
Jack Bell Yeah, it really is Mandarin. Even I knew that, and I only took Japanese in college (figured Chinese would be too hard.).
+R3fug33 that's the fruit
So, it's a film about General Zod chasing Robin?
If only it were that cool.
I WILL FIND HIM!
Love this channel...it takes a lot of work to find out every inconsistency in a movie
no it doesn’t lol
He is joking dumass
@@Rbcinema68 honestly it's hard to tell. Cinemasins claims to be satire. So how do you know this guy isn't serious aswell? Cinemasins fanboys seems to protect them with "iTs SaTiRe" and hear you are defending this guy who's making a strong claim with no indication it's a joke with "He's joking". But yh, the the guy who disagreed is a dumbass lol
It also takes a lot of work to care about those inconsistencies
It does take effort with the # of movies sinned. And this channel is making a lot of $, if you take this seriously thats. Unfortunate. The sarcastic point outs are entertainment nothing else. I don't think Jeromy cares as much as people think he does when he picks gripes and filming issues. I can understand everyone has a different sense of humor, but the term fanboy is ignorant as hell and i don't think such a group exists. Watching videos you enjoy regularly doesn't make a "fanboy" saying Nintendo is better than Sony despite any flaws on the supporting end is what that term means or meant like 14 years ago.
The guy that did the impound scene is actually sponsored by RedBull
Danny macaskill
That flash mob was lightly patting him on the back. If you watched that scene on mute, you could have probably imagine the riders saying, " Hey! Good job, man!"
how about the part where Wilee finally crashes and breaks his ribs so bad he can't move and the lightest touch is torture to him. But once they get to the impound lot he is back to normal? I couldn't believe it. .
Fuck me man, i thought the same. Also, this movie extended its fucking plot that the chinese girl wont make the delivery herself, or that Sister chen wont take money, or that old chinese guy wont call her and say "money recieved. Do job"
This video was way more enjoyable than the movie itself.
hackum1.."that's the idea!"
hackum1 seconded
I liked the movie
I was waiting for him to say "I WILL FIND HIM!"
+Beardsley McBeard Underrated comment is underrated.
+Rutvik Dixit Ding
7:24
I KNEW it was coming
Zod, why are you chase'n Robin?
+Basil Ali (Basil THE HOPE Ali) Unfortunately, it probably won't happen. Christian Bale is no longer the lead actor, and the entire franchise has been rebooted for Justice League.
Never thankfully.
Supposedly he becomes nightwing in a solo film in 2019
hot damn this guy really was zod
After the bonus round, I can confidently say that this Bobby character seems to be the best thing about the movie
I still don't know what the fuck the plot of this movie is.
Illegal document transfers
to steal money from people who dont care whats playing because theyre just trying to get a handjob in the theater anyway
just an bicycle ad or something. That's the plot
BadPeople1100 nice
you guys forgot the fact that he had broken/fractured ribs after the car incident and was able to ride a bike, while doing tricks and fake as though that he never got hurt at the end
Are movie editors hiring your yet to double check their movies for mistakes before release? They should be. I feel like it would up the quality because you point out a lot of things that they should have caught. You review movies that I like and I end up feeling bad that simple things could have been fixed to make them even better.
+Donja McGuire they don´t care and don´t need a person for that really, it´s not like they are going to listen to this guy and do tons of scenes again
It would be cool though
Donja McGuire yeah, but to be truthful, when i watch a movie I don´t tend to find the mistakes, so it isn´t the biggest concern to me
I don't notice a lot of them on the first watch either but my nature is perfectionist so knowing that I had made a movie with so many mistakes in it would bother me and I would probably seek to make something with as little loop holes and mistakes as possible :)
Donja McGuire yeah, it sucks when you come to ralize some plots are not very good, anyway I like this movie, actually re watched it yesterday
After trying to teraform Earth failed. Zod grew out his hair became a detective.
It was lucky that Superman was feeling remorseful the week prior and used his laser eyes to fix his neck. =D
We Fall and erased his memories and supressed his powers. Unfortunately due to the memory wiping he frequently talks to himself
This came out first
Dr. Olympus more like DR. Obvious

???????
Math sins.
The editing you do at the end of each video is truly the most hilarious part!
most of the time when i watch these sin videos i can discern some sort of plot of the movie.....not in this case
There really isn't one.
+Bunny Chan ........ affirmed
+Bunny Chan I guess you can say... it's about bikes...
+Bunny Chan Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a bike delivery guy. He is hired to deliver a ticket which is a receipt of payment worth about $50,000. The money is meant to be used for the client to sneak her son into America. Michael Shannon is a cop who is in serious gambling debt to the Chinese mafia. He is hunting after JGL because the 50 grand on him is enough to cover his debt. Also some stupid side story about Levitt's ex-girlfriend and his rivalry with her new SO.
The flash mob at the end was exactly what Wiley needed. Officer Monday was in the middle of explaining how he could do anything on that street and no one would testify. Without outside help, Wiley would have been shot. The flash mob filled the street with witnesses, though, so Monday couldn't follow through. However, he was still a cop, so the mob couldn't do anything *too* unruly. They provided a largely harmless (if annoying) distraction.
I love this movie so much fun and knowing exactly how seriously to take itself not to mention the chases were absolutely bad ass
It's definitely under-appreciated. I used to watch it a ton myself "way back in the day."
Great mashup at the end. The Burbs, Man of Steel, Xmen 2.
Seriously, General Zod was funny as hell :D
We've learned to take all of that in stride, and never take criticism too seriously.
4:11 missed "You're fired" sin
I like this movie... What? Don't look at me like that...
No one is looking at you any kind of way. Stop being so sensitive. I liked the movie AND I found these sins hilarious!!!! You're ok.
Renee Wright Well thank you, but my comment was supposed to be both opinionated and comedic, but again, thank you.
My bad. I was trying to be lightweight funny, too.
+JayPao me too
love it too! Joseph Gordon levitt is hot.... :DD
dude you completely missed a discount jenifer lopez i mean i honestly thought that was her lmao
Hmm you must not be a Booty Connoisseur 🤔🍑
@@ernestoencinas2316 holy shit. This comment was 6 years ago lmaooooo. Yo blast from the past but anyways no, im a tits guy, if thats what ur asking. Boobs are way more fun 😂
Can the fact that this movie EXISTS be added to the sin count, please?
Philo Sophia That is exactly 747 sins worth right there
Why? Is it because they did it for the Amazing Spiderman as well? 'This movie exists' is still not a valid point.
Because they did WHAT? I'm not talking about a special effect. I'm saying the entire storyline is stupid bullshit.
It got a 75% from rotten tomatoes. It's a solid film regardless of what you think.
+James Tracy Can't believe you trust rotten tomatoes

Guy comes *_this_* close to becoming yet another taxi's hood ornament, yet somehow an SUV just happens to miraculously enter the intersection at that exact time and that exact place to T-bone it and prevent Wilee from becoming an NYC bike messenger statistic (also known as a bloody smear on the pavement.)
So, uh....just gonna let that one go, CinemaSins?
sergeantassassin3 Taxi was most likely trying to run a red light considering not only the character moving but every other car around him. It's justified. And plus, its a pretty cool scene.
Alan Bohannon I know it's a movie and that taxi driver most definitely was an idiot who got, albeit a particularly fatal, comeuppance, but that is also still some deus ex machina shit for any biker.
+Alan Bohannon lol but why did he keep riding, like shouldn't he have helped, he was 5 feet away
+sergeantassassin3 I'll be honest -- I've never seen this movie except from on here with CS, and the taxi almost gave me heart failure, and I'm sitting in a brightly lit room. Can't figure out the plot of the movie, but it succeeded in making me feel sheer terror for a moment, so it can't be all that bad a movie.
any body else think that this is the story lore for that bicycle hero dude from one punch man?
Jacob Ferrera if that's true that would be awesome
You have to remove a sin for the Sherlock Holmes thing. Anyone that rides two wheels with or without a motor our minds are constantly scanning and doing threat assessment we got our own little terminator HUD going on in our heads.
There was also a Wilhelm scream. You sin that right?
More sins:
1) If he is very dependable for getting a job done, why would he be called Wilee in reference to Wile E Coyote - a character that fails miserably at catching the roadrunner.
2) He gets back together with his gf as if all their problems are fixed. He still ditched her graduation to participate in a race.
3) They never explain why the random dude in the gambling establishment wants to stop the ticket from getting to its destination.
1) I guess you're right
2) After everything they've been through during the movie with the adrenaline-pumping danger, they probably have a bond they can't find with anyone else.
3) the gambling dude wants the ticket because he's in debt to the mob and that ticket is worth $50k
Y am i the only guy who likes this movie. Sure its fucking stupid and dumb but its so enjoyable
I loved the movie too.
So do I!!
It was a time killer if but only to watch a Jason Gordon Levitt movie.
i watched it 3 times. tis an enjoyable movie, indeed.
Its much more enjoyable when you ride a fixed gear and can actually relate to whats going on.
i wonder what its like to watch a movie with this guy...
Hey, I loved premium rush! It had decent actors, and is more of a just 'kick back' movie and have some snacks, rather than a flawless film. I personally loved Michael Shannon's acting, and the little comedy thrown in also. But hey. that's just my opinion.
hey man, it doesnt have to be perfect to be a good movie (No movie is without sin) and i liked this movie to. However, i love these videos since it shows me what i missed. Also, these vids are for comedy so its ok to not take them seriously :)
The first wrong bit, about Wilee being able to see the possible routes.I disagree with it being impossible. If you are a relatively experienced cyclist, you would be able to somehow sense a heck load of danger points, either by instinct or 2 of your senses.
With that,I only had 1 car accident.Instinct and quick wit saved me in many other situations. And also, please watch some 'proper' fixie riding.
Exactly. I sense the danger in Mario kart
Here are all the audio outtake clips at the end:
1 (7:09): The 'Burbs (Universal Pictures, 1989)
2 (7:21): Back to the Future (Universal Pictures, 1985)
3 (7:26): Man of Steel (Warner Bros., 2013)
4 (7:28): X2 (20th Century Studios, 2003)
Despite all that's wrong in this movie, I need to clarify two things:
1. When Wilee is being loaded into the ambulance, Monday asks the paramedic to let him ride in the back to question him.
2. Wilee's forearm is bloody after the taxi crash, so that on his arm is not a cast that required a hospital, it's just gauze from the ambulance.
Everything else is pretty much spot on.
My ringtone for texts is the Sonic ring noise lol. I checked my phone and was confused when nothing was on the screen xD
Missed sin: it was WAY too convenient that the taxi that would have run him over in the last scene was hit by a van.
Another missed sin : He keeps on riding as though that van didn't just smash into a taxi going like 50 an hour. If I was on a bike and a big van just smashed a car going 50 I'd stop and call an ambulance, get the vans number and whatnot.
Kieran Owens
I'd stop just to catch my breath and reflect on the fact that I almost died
Chris Countchrisdo some people think they are heroes.
@@kieranowens3702 -- It's New York, man. No you wouldn't.
@@kieranowens3702 And apparently you've never seen UA-cam crash videos.
People consistently record major accidents and from the conversation after the accident doesn't seem like they call the police either.
It's great that you would call the police though. That's what everyone should do even if the police do respond by saying they have already received a call It is appreciated!
This may be mentioned already in the comments but i'm not going to bother looking. You forgot the fact that the female lead switches from a free wheel bike to fixed gear just by pulling the brakes off.
youre wrong tho, its a fixie all the way
I like this channel but you’ve made me so critical of movies and in your voice. Thanks.
Since i subscribed on this channel I never saw any movie the same again. Damn. Its like an eye opener
Nice One Cinema Sins.....Wished they made better use of Michael Shannon here
I never saw this film, so why does Bobby want to practically kill Willie so bad?
Because Willie didn't set it to wumbo.
+Mistah47 I wumbo, you wumb, he she me wumbo, wumboing, wumbology? Its first grade science
Bobby wants the ticket that Willie has so that he can pay off his gambling debt but Willie won't give it to him.
is that zod from man of steel
Yes it is.
No its his identical twin.
yesididitverywell ha next joke
jack robinson his human doppleganger
a potato.
2:23 this system of using informal notes of value like lottery tickets as currency is actually a real thing amongst criminals that dates back centuries called hawala. Most old world crime syndicates like the Triads and various pirate crews throughout Africa and the Middle East still use it in modern times.
The basic premise goes that a hawala like Mr. Leung receives money from a customer, in this case Nima. They give that customer an informal record of the money, such as the ticket as well as a password. Mr. Leung would then contact a hawala in another city and tell them what the password is and the amount that is supposed to be released to the client. When the second hawala pays the client, Mr. Leung now owes that hawala for the money. Since there was no password and Sister Chen lives in the same city, it can be assumed she uses Mr. Leung's hawala like a bank, which is smart. She can't accept cash because it's traceable and hard to hide. Keeping it with someone like Mr. Leung who has the ability to protect it and keeps informal records makes it hard to prosecute. Unfortunately, such informal transfers work by way of honor system, so saying she's good for the money doesn't work because that invalidates the ticket, which is the basis of their entire enterprise.
TheDoctor2nd
And I learned this all from a whovian. Sick!
Just love the way you comment on various sins. You rock 🙂
You forgot the downhil race between a fixie and a geared road bike where the fixie wins. It was freakin comical
and that they play the sound of a freehub in every scene, where the back wheel or the cranks of a fixie ar shown...
I'm a bike messenger. I do ride a track bike. I've won races with other messengers with geared bikes. It's all about skills. Going down hill geared most of the time wins
josh smith With respect to you, I've beaten fixed gear riders way fitter than me on flat ground. Dudes that would wipe the floor with me if it was an even game.
Downhill, geared wins EVERY time, and with little effort in comparison. I'd wipe the floor with an Olympic track winner, coz it's not a matter of skill, but equipment suited for the task at hand.
Agree brother. Trust me I've got beaten by geared bikes in alleycat races
You forgot the biggest sin. The fact that it was a light hearted movie, for the most part, then had an execution style murder straight out of Goodfellas at the end. It didn't fit. The cop should have just been arrested or something fitting with the theme.
Yep! Totally agree. That was so out of place and not necessary for the tone of the movie. Really odd.
everything wrong with:
- signs
- the Day after Tommorow
- Oblivion (the Tom cruise one)
- War of the Worlds (also the Tom Cruise one)
- Star Wars episode one (Bonus Round for everytime Jar Jar sucks)
- Alien Resurection
- Skyline
- Armageddon.
I felt the ambulance audio replacement bit from the 'Burbs in my bones :P I knew you had to do it.
Fron 6:00 and on is one if the best bonus rounds ever. And honestly one of the most entertaining things I've watched on UA-cam
Always remember on the average 150 bicyclist die every year in NYC. On another note I found it odd how the brakes or gears come apart on the road. I have never seen a bike shed equipment like that
I like the one where 911 twoofers accuse ANY eyewitnesses that disagree with their magical theories as being "paid actors" :-)
ctcole77 This is a front row seat how the SHADOW GOVERNMENT works. Sit back and enjoy the whole scheme.
The Shadow Government own television and so the propaganda: Isis this Isis that. The SHADOW GOVERNMENT sat down in some conference room and reinvented Isis then it went to the middle east with a lot of cash and started to group rebels paying them $600, and then those groups when and got more groups and that is how isis was reformed. To give military hardware to isis United States bases heard of their coming and ran off leaving military hardware for them to capture, Howitzers Humvees, etc. Now what is this all about?
Back in early 2001 4 star General Wesley Clark talked about how the joint chief of staff was going to bring down 7 countries in five years. “We’re going to take out 7 countries in 5 years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan & Iran..” The SHADOW GOVERNMENT directs the joint chief of staff so now they are trying to take down Syria. They want to create chaos and confusion and under the ruse of Isis they are starting to bomb Syria.
Why Syria? Syria are not friends of the Israel. The SHADOW GOVERNMENT wants to capture the oil fields and force everyone who wants to buy the oil to pay in Federal Reserve Notes. This gives value to the Federal Reserve Notes and diminishes the inflation caused by the Quantative Easing going on. The banks get free money and now are able to use it because the price inflation due to the monetary inflation will be minimal. The SHADOW GOVERNMENT will put in place a Rothschild Bank with its ability to create money out of nothing. Syria, then, being a captured state will operate under the color of law and counterfeit currency. They will have a debt based economic system and the SHADOW GOVERNMENT will be able to cause economic booms and burst to sack the inhabitants of their most important assets, all under the color of law.
I mean is there anything more obvious? The SHADOW GOVERNMENT think Americans in its entirety are that stupid to fall for this crap. One day they will be taken down and have true leaders in government that represent the mind and spirit of the American people
se7ensnakes
Why are 911 twoofers sooooooo afraid of simple questions?
Shadow government is the new illumanati
Sagacious Fox Well this is a movie and we are suppose to concentrate on the story. But certainly there are other things that are more important which we accept that we should not accept.
5:50 so we’re gonna act like some people didn’t just die here? Cause someone definitely died.
I enjoyed this film its actually quite fun without thinking of criticism and bad stuff
'Movie rips off the slow motion vision from Sherlock Holmes' LOL EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT
Your style has improved since this video.
lmfao, jaimie or whoever the asian girl is speaks English with a heavy "Chinese" accent, and speaks Mandarine with a heavy English accent... -___- *facepalm*
Why is Van Alden in a present day bike movie?
How are there enough movies about people riding bikes for an entire genre to be named after them.
WOW... so this was the popular movie back when it first came out on DVD.
I'm so glad I didn't see this.
the messenger bar is actually accurate! I worked for a messenger service called street kings, the last guy who answers the phone for the flash mob, his name is kid He runs it:)
"I WILL FIND HIM!" ahaha love the references at the end of your vids XD
This is one of my all time favourite films
am i missing something?
George Costanza Whatafak is wrong with you
I have to admit.. this movie is the biggest shit i've ever seen.
CrAcKa JaXxX jesus , dude its been an years since those comments....we don't even know how many of them are alive 😂
The Crypter i just want to tell somebody how much this movie sucks in my opinion ;)
*I will find him!*
And you did! How'd that go for you?
Lml
2:31 Sister Chen only takes Bitcoin. 3:13 typical cop right there...
Poor Zod, he only wants a home.
There's another pothole.
The detective knew were the ticket was supposed to be delivered. Why didn't he just wait there for the messenger to come and get him?
He got shot in the head and didn't notice, damn what a toothache he must've had :D
Where’s the bullet hole??
Not to mention that the black messenger dude has a 3500 $ worth wheelset
Simon Rano Some people *do* spend all of their money on expensive road bikes though. In Denmark there are a few riders I know who take the longer routes, and in Denmark those long routes and sometimes 15km and more. Doing that on a single speed is just not practical.
Mitchell Tomlinson expensive but nowhere near a Look L96 with MAVIC IO in term of quality, performance and aero. Expensive doesn't mean better. And L96 is god damn expensive. Bike more expensive than motor bikes ? Waste the money you will have only in dreams, you will still be slower than real riders
Mitchell Tomlinson THe main issue here is that this movie has a shitty plot, and characters bike make no sense. Its just a "fast and furious" for the arrogant fixie community. They ashamed the noble track bikes. The L96 is fairly enough as it holds 200 m and 1 km record. The difference is that it is not a protype made only for UK team riders like the last Cervélo which have no real production, just available at R&D cost to be legal.
1:37 Oh... That's where PPAP came from...
THANK YOU for the awesome Burbs reference.
Cant wait premium rush part 2 :)
“In 6 mins or less”
So that was a lie
The premise of the movie was so shitty it was depressing, but just watching 6 minutes of it made it even worse. Who paid to see the entire thing?!
Watching Michael Shannon here and then in Man of Steel is kinda funny.
Thank you, Cinema Sins! The bonus round confirmed my initial suspicion that this is a movie I dont need to see!
Is no-one going to talk about the car crash at the end like that was too extreme for you to just 'bike away'
wait i need a flash mob 5 minutes ago or is that proper grammer?
Forgot the tuna sandwich in the vending machine
sorry i paused at 1:57 for a couple seconds.
+Jacob Cooley screenshot, new wallpaper.
as did we all, she should have been the main actor, then i would care.
+Slovak Gamer I'm sorry, but the cast member that did the cut for me was Danny McAskill, the guy that made the movie turn into a Red Bull video
These sins are supposed to be humorous but I find myself learning more than laughing
I love that "everything wrong with" is abbreviated in the thumbnail image.
I actually liked this movie.
I did too. But these sins are hilarious.
I WILL FIND HIM!!!
everything wrong with 30 minutes or less
Zombieland
PhoenixBlazer39 i love that movie
My favorite part of these videos is the simple "What?"s. No further explanation needed.
Dude I love your video
does his voice and time between sentences seem slow?
One of my biggest beefs with this movie is that in that chase scene, Wilee is on a single-speed steel bike. The other guy is on a carbon road bike. They race on a hill. Wilee shouldn't be able to keep up AT ALL.
Is that the highest sin counter!!!!?
No, EWW "The Room" got over 1.5 billion sins.
Damn I need to search that one. Just got hip to this channel today.
xxxRCT3FREAKxxx EWW CinemaSins got infinite sins.
james hawkins Green lantern got 76,000
Curtis Board
I didn't like that movie anyways.
love this channel
Boo to this review! The movie was fun and exciting! Besides, it had Joseph Gordon Levitt starring. Are you nuts? I LOVED it! 💖
the first sin, the donut sin, isnt really a sin
He doesn't have a cast! It's a bandage!
Oh my god so awful he got it wrong! Oh no!
@@Shirai_Ryu92 I mean, it's a channel about nitpicking details.....soooooo
Well he seems to have dealt with General Zod, so that's about as close to Man of Steel as JoGo Levitt is gonna get.
He was in inception..so i don't think so..
you know what i find coincedental about the Jo Go comment, levitt was in gi joe and the whole "go jo" seems pretty similar
I was thinking you was talking about how Levitt could only dream on being on the "man of steel" movie..Now he's pretty famous..even tough the first time i have see him,was on the get money, turn gay video of schmooyo
binkerboys
What gets me is how I didn't even know who JoGo Levitt was in GI Joe until I saw the Dark Knight movies and he got more famous.
"burbs" reference at the end in the ambulance! perfect.
Barking at the dog! My favorite "WHAAT?" U have ever said!!! :-)
