I’ve thought about it, my goals for the truck aren’t necessarily a drag truck but a reliable daily with some power. E85, intake and heads this truck could easily be capable of 600-650+
@@SlickSilverado yea I want to do a 4l65e awd swap. Better in the winter and awd launches. I hear the 4l60e and the 4l65e cases are identical. Just have different internals. 4.10s and awd with 650whp would be a trackhawk killer.
I’ve probably got close to 7 to 7500 in mine for my g8 and it’s still not done lol. That includes an inter cooler kit and aux fuel system and upgraded ati balancer and what not.
@SlickSilverado mad dog transmission has a level 4 4l60e that's about $2300 shipped with 2800rpm stall. Add more if you want a higher stall. But they hold 800hp, apparently
I’m running a 3200 stall in stock 4l60 with a transmission cooler. The converter isn’t the problem, there are a few weak links in the transmission but the most common is getting the clutches to hot over time and destroying them. All transmission destroy themselves when they get hot
Correct, they are returnless. On my previous trucks with aftermarket fuel rails/intake I added a return and regulator. This truck is still running stock intake and fuel rails.
I’m kinda in the market for a torq storm and I’m not really looking to make a lot boost looking some where around 5-8 PSI you think the stock fuel system would be good for that ?

You can get a upgraded head unit from torqstorm to make this thing 750-950hp range. The oem blower with the kit is good for 650hp+-

I’m afraid not, stock fuel injectors sometimes can’t even handle a bigger cam!
How much stock silverado can handle... gmt800 ? Or what sud i upgrade to get 500-600whp?
Without using a power adder(supercharger, turbo, or nitrous), it takes a lot to make gmt800’s 500-600whp capable.
if you already had to piece everything together, a turbo would have been so much cheaper
