I remember having and playing with this as a kid. I don't remember the display plinth but may have just thrown that away as all I wanted to do was play with it. So definitely had the one of the first two models. Apparently I annoyed my Sister by taking off the tyres of all my cars for some reason. No idea why. Anyway great memories. Didn't know they re released it. If only I had the space to have kept them all as I grew up. Never grow up.

Wow, thanks for sharing. These models do bring back some wonderful memories. The re issue is very nice and so close to the original. 😀😀😀

I had the gold one. My brother had the silver one. The gold one was a bit smaller. The silver one had more features. This would have been the late '60s. Better times. The larger silver one had tyre slashers and revolving number plates too. The original gold ones are the colour I remember. The new version is a different gold altogether. Not as pleasing to the eye.

Wow, thanks for sharing, I also prefer the original 1960’s release, but they have done a very good job on the reissue though. 😀😀😀

Due to copyright we can’t have audio on the short intro. What until the intro has finished and the video with volume will begin!!
