When it comes to joy-con drift the best way to fix it is to open up the joy-con and put a small piece of cardboard or a business card over where the stick is.
I went with a Lite for my first Switch due to how cheap it was. I bought an unused/unopened Lite with a sealed Mario Maker 2 for $150 Canadian. I will upgrade if Nintendo ever does release a Pro docked Switch, but I am not holding my breath for that.
This video is a nice watch because recently I'm thinking of buying another Switch. I have a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Edition Switch V1 model. I'm choosing between the Super Mario Red and Blue Edition Switch V2 model or a Neon Red/Blue Switch OLED model.
Personally I’m disappointed with the technical limitations of my Switch (I own the V2 model, Mario design). It makes most ports hard to enjoy, knowing that there are possibilities to play them in a much more visually pleasing way (PC, Xbox, PlayStation). On the other hand, it has lots of great exclusives.
While I somewhat agree, having the possibility is largely dependent on resources. If you don't have the funds to buy expensive next-gen systems like Series X/PS5, then playing the Switch ports is totally fine. More or less what I'm trying to say is that if you look at the Switch ports in a vacuum without comparing them to their other counterparts, then they're actually quite nice. I've been playing the Witcher 3 on my Switch lately and it's great imo. Not only because it's a well done port but also because I just don't think about other consoles when playing on my Switch. I don't start up my game and think "Oh I wonder how this game will work on Series X". I just play it and enjoy it for what it is and what I get. Naturally if you can't help yourself and constantly think about other more powerful consoles then yeah you're gonna be salty about some Switch ports. But if you just play your game and enjoy it, it's fine.
The thing is, The switch isn't meant to even be a powerful console. Nintendo gave up making powerful consoles years ago. You should be grateful you still have some game ports available lol
My only issue with Switch is the game prices, they are way too expensive compared to PS4 games, other than that, Switch is amazing console, play it more than my PS5 atm.
coming from a Vita and 3DS, I was hoping to catch the market before the Switch was discontinued, but looks like I may be too late. Anyway, guess I saved money by not buying the console.
I have 2 original model Switch's. One for Legend of Zelda, Pokemon and uncensored games. The other one is modded for research purposes. Mainly used for TV gaming.
After watching it, I was gonna get the OLED model… 50 bucks would be worth it… Well, in reality the non-OLED model costs around 250-280€ and the OLED model around 400€?
@@ghostlegit Your right 100%, but if you can't get one the oled or switch light if your A handheld junkie and hate the heavy lbs. If you like Jrpg's don't feel bad paying 30-60 per game. Like the vita rpg's will go up in price especially special edition's. My psp rpg's went up in price as well.
@@sleepyhead8681 look up a tutorial ? Do u play online if so then don't but if u only play singleplayer games and if u have an original switch with a lower firmware then u will be able to jailbreak it and be able to install android apps and many more.
i’m looking to get my 6 year old a switch for christmas this year! he’s been asking for over a year and constantly plays our old Nintendo 64 so i feel like he would really enjoy it. i’m just totally lost & don’t know what to do or what to buy??
Can someone tell me if it installs physical games to the system? PS4/One force it and while I know why it's annoying and I preferred the option with PS3/360 if I wanted to install it. Now Nintendo systems have never had this and was curious if the Switch does? Otherwise always enjoy these videos whether know most of it, may find out something I don't/have the system or not (I don't have a Switch but want one at some point). Considering the original/better battery one as seemed like what I would use the most and love the Wii/Wii U use it in multiple ways experience. The Lite is cheaper but to me even for the price I want to commit to it long term not a bit of one and then get the other later. I usually get one system unless it has something the other doesn't like PSP2000 AV out to the TV for the cables I have or OG DS for GBA as DSi doesn't have that. Vita 2000 and PS Vita TV. Or got a New 3DS XL for the 3D and the C stick/improvements as a new 3DS owner since 2020 to catch up on what I missed out on. Either way interested to try out the Splatoon sequels, Grid Autosport a for simcade circuit racing game, Disagea 6 or other entries I don't have on other platforms, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4 whenever it comes out, maybe Dread, Galgun Returns, Senran Kagura Reflexions among others. Keeping my Wii U for its games and VC no care for the Online service as don't use online or care for how.they handle the NES/SNES/64/Mega Drive games on there.
No, the Nintendo Switch is not like the PS4 nor Xbox One where physical games needs to be installed to the system. It's just like any other Nintendo systems where you just insert the game card or game disc and you can play the game right away. Though, like most modern systems, users can download updates or patches before launching the game.
I hate screen protectors on glass screens. Especially on something like an iPhone where you're literally making one of the best screens in world worse. But I have one on my Switch and I don't really mind it. Plastic on plastic is not as bad as plastic on glass (glass on glass is worse) and I'm too clumsy to not scratch the screen when putting it in the dock.
Boo you still didn’t mention Animal Crossing A note: first gen Switches are going to cost more because they can be modded while others can’t. Now Pokémon has Scarlet and Violet. Open world Pokémon and it doesn’t deserve the hate. Soon Tears of the Kingdom will drop too. Not a big Zelda fan myself though.
Still waiting for a purely stationary model. I'm not paying for a built in screen I'm never gonna use and not paying extra for a real controller on top of it. Nintendo didn't make any console that was made for me since the GameCube and not a lot of the games that are exclusive for their systems interest me. Most things I can also find on PC or just play an older version on GC(why would I need a new Mario Kart or Smash when Double Dash and Melee work just fine?).
I hate the switch. I want to buy one, but I know that I will be disappointed by the missing 4k or sometimes even 1080p while mainly playing on my 4K TV. I really want to play Mary Skelter, but that is only out for the switch. Maybe I will buy it... I also want to play Astral Chain... Tell me, is it really that bad looking when I connect a switch on a large 4K TV?
I’d wait for Nintendo to release a new, more powerful console, to be honest. Personally, I’m not satisfied with the technical performance of my Switch, especially regarding most ports. Even though, some Nintendo exclusives like Mario Odyssey and also Astral Chain still look good.

You should have just waited
I got mine from Amazon.

I tried that and it didn’t work. I am just going to send it to Nintendo ig
I recently got the Animal crossing Nintendo Switch since OLED burn in scares me

There was an insert for my Switch case to make a switch lite fit into it
So far I'm really enjoying Mario Odyssey, and plan on getting some otome games that are switch exclusive, as well as Zelda games.
I'm thinking of waiting till I find the original version with the unpatchable exploit for jail breaking

I think I do now because some people think was bored
Alien Isolation is an example of a Switch port running better than most other platforms!
After watching it, I was gonna get the OLED model… 50 bucks would be worth it…
Well, in reality the non-OLED model costs around 250-280€ and the OLED model around 400€?
The regular switch seems to have had a bit of a price drop recently.
Where I live the OLED is 150 eur more expensive, Idk if it's worth it when compared to the normal Switch?
Doom And Doom Eternal are FPS's on Switch that are good. And Wolfenstein II
The right answer is the original model ..
The right answer is the jailbroken unpatched switch
