Hauntingly beautiful. This song is a culmination of the growth and experience of everyone in the band. And the visuals only add to the depth and breadth of what is being conveyed. So many emotions and thoughts. Thank you Foo Fighters for writing and sharing this beautiful piece of music.
This is the most beautiful and heart-achingly accurate song describing the experience of loss and grief. I personally feel this is expressing grief and responsibility of a son (Dave) losing his mother; and Violet losing her grandmother Virginia Grohl…but I relate so much that it helped me release more feelings around losing my son years ago. I think that grief is so overwhelming, and yet we also have to take over of the responsibilities of the one who passes… while we feel like drowning in sorrow. I love Violet’s voice…she is finding it and it reminds me of 1980’s/90’s voices…minor, ethereal… and daughter / father blend beautifully. Also a beautiful reminder to take care of our beautiful Earth as well as one another….lastly, the question “where are you now”? Toughest part of life and death. Love to the Foos, Family, and Foo fan family.❤
I think this is the best Foo Fighter song I've ever heard, a big part is Dave and his daughter harmonizing. Normally the Foo Fighters aren't my thing (aside from the amazing first album and Overlong), a little too safe and MOR, but this is incredible, kinda shoe gaze. Having Violet (?) sing on this was a masterstroke...
This first few notes…tears. This melody was very Bird & the Beeish; also has the feel of “On the Mend” which means it is simply beautiful. I just love this, and I am so grateful to have Dave and co. still making music for us.
@@loriru3135 I think so too - it seems to me like it’s a tribute to both of them with the second verse being about Virginia and the chorus tying it together 💔 I was surprised how few people picked up on that in the first verse. I don’t think his mama would’ve rolled her eyes at a melody/song written about her, that’s more of a best friend/guy thing.
This has quickly sneaked into my top 3 songs by the lads. I’m not sure why, I think, after having a daughter myself it just makes me smile that Dave and Violet sang on this one together, and I hope one day, myself and my little one, will have something that we can do together. RIP TH

Also a beautiful reminder to take care of our beautiful Earth as well as one another….lastly, the question “where are you now”? Toughest part of life and death. Love to the Foos, Family, and Foo fan family.❤
may he rest in peace, and you, carry him in your heart.
Everlong...
It’s all been bangers so far. I have a feeling it’s gonna make it’s way in my Foo top 5.
You call this a "banger" How old are you, like 120? This is mellow and soft as crap. Give me the in your face guitar riffs man.

I've watched this about 4 or 5 times, back to back. It's absolutely beautiful. I have a feeling this will become one of my many favourites.
I cannot get over how good this album has been so far. All of the emotions are perfectly portrayed. Great job, Foo’s!
Violet is a massive Billie Eilish fan. You can really hear the influence both in tone and the way she layered her vocals/the harmonies she picked.
Shoegaze lo hizo antes
she's been singing for years, prior to Billie hitting it big.

This first few notes…tears. This melody was very Bird & the Beeish; also has the feel of “On the Mend” which means it is simply beautiful. I just love this, and I am so grateful to have Dave and co. still making music for us.
Yes, it's a bit of that in your honor ara
Bird and the Bee are amazing! Gorgeously soft rocky psychedelic melodies Dave concoted.
I think that first verse is a reference to On The Mend. “I wrote you a melody, you rolled your eyes” 💔
@@thelovinglunatic That’s exactly what I thought, and wondered if perhaps his mom, Virginia, loved hummingbirds.
Epic that I got to see the live debut of this one. I’m officially apart of Foo Fighters history 🎉
We can’t wait for the new album. Taylor we miss you 🕊️
This has quickly sneaked into my top 3 songs by the lads. I’m not sure why, I think, after having a daughter myself it just makes me smile that Dave and Violet sang on this one together, and I hope one day, myself and my little one, will have something that we can do together. RIP TH
This song definitely gets you emotional 😢😢 a absolute masterpiece foo fighters
Nah! It's Just Foo Fighters being the best...as always! 🤟🏾❤
Yeah yeah yeah, the harmonies are amazing and all (they are). Can we take a second to appreciate the visual direction of this video? It's absolutely beautiful and complements the song so well
this is going to be one of the best FF records
This might end up being my favorite foo album since wasting light!!
I'm gutted❤ this is beautiful. I miss you Mom.
Oh damn!!!! It sounds like 90's self titled - Color and the Shape era of the Foos!!!! I love this!!!
Where are you now?.......J'm listening to this beautiful, amazing sound.....FF.....a love declaration for life❤
This is giving me some Slowdive shoegaze vibes. I love it.
A beautiful anthem for whom we think is Virginia who is an epic role model. This song with violet singing "Ill take care of everything" is heavenly. Bless this song. It reminds me of my time in Ashland Oregon and my family that lives there.
