The deck just feels so versatile, the amount of different interuptions a single Lios can get you is crazy, and you have so many options for boss monsters like Lars, Colossus, Stag Soveirgn and Slicer. Really good video.

Very nice! I made Evol/Lars package and Diabellstar engine an integral part of my Ogdo deck in MD since they were released, now we get Ragnaraika to add some more spicy and see how it performs.
great guide. Only thing worth noting is King and Queen are also format/matchup dependent. I prefer queen over king for dealing with more matchups in general (Queen I think is actually good into Yubel), but it's a garnet at the cost of constant follow-up and grind.
wow I wish every archetype would have someone this dedicated (atleast the playable ones)! I personally play a worm ogdo build with the main goal being tributing rikka queen strenna with aleirtt to end on hyperyton + a rank 8. it needs the normal summon or another lv4 and you need to revive keurse first tributing nunu to get rid of the reptile lock. so it's most likely not optimal these days but it's still a lot of fun. I really like the daybreak combos but imma have to find extra deck space^^

I still think Ragnaraika is the strongest Ogdoadic build. Especially with the new butterfly, link 3, and monster trap. It can run a massive number of hand traps. Upwards of 20, which you’ll see plenty of due to draw 3 on end phase with butterfly, allowing it to box with the top decks if today. The graveyard disruption off the new trap gives us a new form of disruption the deck formerly has no access to. And it’s second effect recurs the already nigh infinite extra deck resources.
Update! Been messing around with Primite engine & Alien Shocktrooper. I am loving it. Provides easy access to a lvl 4 reptile body, reduces the need for the alien link 2 to tribute off trap, and contributes an on field negate thru Drillbeam.
The damage output really isn't great 😂 colossus lines are pretty good about this thanks to the high attack values on your sticky bosses, but a wall of vanilla idiots can still stop you from lethal. Access/borrelsword style boss would be an awesome addition
We have tons of starters and extenders, so hand traps aren't a huge deal. 1 ash almost never ends your turn. Just bait with your low value starters first
Would droplet be a good board breaker for this deck? I picked up an ogdo core, just missing the few ritual cards that haven't come out yet, and im excited to get to try out this deck. Im planning to put the reptile Therion monster in there as well.

I want to practice playing the deck in Master Duel, but I currently don’t have enough resources to craft Reptilianne Echidna. can i replace it by using 2 I:P ? ( sorry for my English)
I'm happy yo hear the guide helped! Echidna is a must, as it plays through nibiru, searches reptiles, and helps run over huge monsters. Just craft it when you can!

The type lock hurts too much, so I can't use skeletal soldier, and the others don't do enough to justify the bricks. I like samurai beetle, but it just doesn't feel worth it to me

Going second is harder for sure, but the number of starters you run influences how many disruptions you can play through, which means it is totally possible to get a board up even going second. Recovery is amazing thanks to neph and the archetypes design in general. I would call it rogue, but everyone calls their pet deck rogue it seems 😂
Yes, but misc is much less useful after the first time. This is a play we used to make a lot a long time ago! Aleirtt also returns too much advantage to the opponent
We don't need help summoning from hand, and banishing it is a little awkward. I also don't need the draws, since we are fully set up once we get going due to the grave nature of ogdoadic
@augustusplays7896 no 😂 we bait, and you can insulate by setting up nunu before summoning lios in case the misc gets hit. Then you Can go king of the feral
@@Dehalove ok thank you, i play the Standard list with promethean and the evol stuff. Is it correct to use the Lars only for protection? I fire singularity right away and wait a bit with Virus so i can chain it to drnm in case so Lars can negate it
@lv.99boss10 I like that usage as well! I like to let the other interruptions stop the opponent, but it's clear there's no breaker coming then use Lara aggressively!

I really appreciate that! Xyz is a blast, but I find aleirtt to be too punishing, and daybreak yields more explosive results

It depends since I have no idea what is in your main. I include ogdoadic ratios here, but you also want 1 night sword and mamba

I think there is a good build in there, but I feel it lacks flexibility, and I am currently a big fan of a breaker approach

Thoughts on Numeron Dragon? You can always OTK but do need to add Aleirtt and Black Mamba.
It doesn't require mamba. I think aleirtt is too weak, but this is also doable for builds that run the royals!

How is nauya a starter? I’ve been looking at the deck sense the new tcg got revealed and I’ve been looking at combos and I’m super confused
Did you watch the video 😂 in all seriousness it sends keurse, and then with any other monster you can summon becomes full combo

You could, but the slicer and colossus lines require certain bricks, and all of them in one list would hurt consistency.

Ogdoadic doesn't want random milling, and there isn't enough room to fit both archetypes. We also don't play grass for context
