@stretchxg I haven't committed to 60 cards (yet) but that's pretty much what I'm running too but with the Zer'oll alien lock. I haven't seen as many Ragna-reptile decks utilizing the Reptilianne spell cards yet.
@@TheMadKing724 I was debating on running the alien cards as well. Especially since gol gar the synchro one is pretty decent and they got a new alien card that summons from graveyard. In my deck I actually took out the reptillianne spell cards and just kept some of the monsters. Ogdoadic spell cards are better anyways

Cool video. I haven't experimented much with plants in my deck (it's almost pure reptile) so the sunvine play was cool. I suppose it's somewhat of an alternative to the Zer'oll lock which is great but only negates activated effects. I like to use the reptilianne spell support. Spawn is a great card and is not once per turn. I run 1× ramifications, 2x spawn and 2x Coatl.

Zer'oll lock plus Ragnaraika link end board is the same thing I've been running. Didn't consider the Zealantis though that's interesting. I'm surprised so many players are opting out of the boss Ogdoadic monsters. I get Nephil locks you to reptile but it's super useful if you have a bad hand and you could always summon Stag turn two if you need to. And Ogdo if you need a board wipe. Also Reptilianne spell cards are nice.
Beautiful first duel, and in fact almost all of them, that Maxx C challenge failed one was absurd, an insanity and the last duel, those idiot TrapTrix had to appear.... Interesting deck and a lovely change of pace from watching the usual "meta duels", was really nice.
The 60 goodstuff is the tearlaments pile or ppl call it terrorist pile. It doesn't have much handtrap if not none so it usually take on maxx c challenge since it can deck u out with snow, zombie vampire and 2 necroface
It is sad that the deck is really not that good, as you shown it never builds strong end boards and when it wins it is only thanks to max c or against really casual decks
I love the ragnaraika ogdoadic combo but this just ain’t it, you’re just kinda running an ogdoadic engine in a ragnarika deck. I personally run the level 8 and 10 ogdoadic names along with 3 ragnaraika butterfly to unbrick the ogdoadic.

Both archetypes have the theme of black tendrils forming/controlling the monsters, hence why it's my favorite ragnaraika engine.
The first duel was really fierce!
This has gotta be one of the coolest new archetypes to hit MD.

i really dislike those decks. you stop one strategy and BAM! they pull 2 more out of their ass with 1 card.
Penguins need support. They have some great card effects just to be no where close to rogue
I definitely going to need way more research on ragnaraika I saw a cool predaplant variant and I love to play my old plant Bois again

I miss tri-type decks. Tri-brigade was my favorite tri engine before it got powercrept by even stronger engines.
