I just purchased a Mac Studio Max M2 (96gb RAM, 1TB) and am upgrading from a late 2013 Mac Pro (Intel) - I am so excited about being able to use the new innovations in Ecamm Live - especially Zoom integration for my guests! Cannot wait to learn more from Adrian! Cheers from Texas, US 🙏
Hi Adrian, thanks for such a polished, easy to follow, and professional tutorial on the Zoom integration with Ecamm. Much appreciated from our team way down in New Zealand.
What if you have a meeting with 100 people? Do you have to manually do "add" for each one to get them into Ecamm? And if you don't add someone can you still highlight their chat messages?
Yes, you can only have 8 active participants so if you want to add someone new you have to remove someone. I was only telling someone last night that I don't really recommend doing this, use the branding to bring on one or two guests but stick to gallery view if you have a busy live with multiple people being spotlighted. And yes, any comment can be brought on screen without the person being an active guest. That's my favourite feature ;)
It's not popular enough, this has been a HUGE investment of their time to get this setup for Zoom. Virtual camera works well in Teams, not that I use it unless I absolutely have to!
First of all…love your freediving content, Gert. Got super into the sport last year. Second of all…this integration is super weird, and not particularly intuitive. EXCEPT for the shared comments which is sweet. Probably the only feature I’ll use.
@@chad.littlefield thanks. yeah I've been following this ecamm zoom integration feature for a while now, and to me it's all to complicated. I like simple and easy solutions.
@@chad.littlefield I hear you, I likely won't be bringing guests on that much but I love being able to only have Ecamm open and start my Zoom calls from there. The camera and audio don't need any settings, it just pulls from Ecamm, and the ability to show comments on screen is worth it.
@@AdrianSalisbury that is 100% awesome no doubt!! Never selected mic and speakers from a list of 45 devices again is magic haha! That and branded Zoom comments alone make this a super fantastic update to eCamm all around! 👍👍
Great explanation. Can we use the Q&A feature like the Comments feature (meeting or webinar)? With questions coming in the feed. I don’t see the button for Q&A in the Ecamm Zoom window.
No, only the comments feed in. I don't use the Q&A feature to be honest and I'm not sure whether this could be added. Worth asking the Ken & Glen on their next monthly call
Cool video. 1. Where do multiple people go? You only show 2. Can you do a version with 3-5 different people coming and going. 2. Where do they fill out their name? Yours only say guest. 3. What if someone doesn’t have a camera but only audio? Thanks
What if you have more than eight guests? What happens to those panelists that can’t get in to the Ecamm. It appears that only eight guests or panelists can be in the Ecamm structure.
You have a tab with everyone one on the call and to add more than the 8 to panelists you need to remove someone. It works well if you're hot-seating people one or a few at a time. It's not an ideal solution if you want everyone on camera, I'd just stick with gallery view, which is what I've just done on a call funnily enough
@@AdrianSalisbury Thanks for responding. So on the stream you have the 8, but on Zoom will the other people in the meeting see all of the other people in Zoom or only the 8 panelists?
Hey my friend. Quick question: This past Monday I tried to livestream to UA-cam and Facebook as I always do, but both platforms crashed and stopped the livestream. Do you know if this is an issue related to an update? I was streaming in 4K at 30fps
I'm not quite sure what you mean about the sound but anything you have scheduled will be pulled in. Maybe try logging your Zoom account out and back in. Or there's no issue with privacy of the webinar is there? After that, reach out to Ecamm support, they'll help you :)
BIG DEAL, HUGE ONE. For sure it changes the game. Now I can do trainings and interviews for my 670.000 subs on youtube in a way easier way for the invited one.

You're welcome, have fun!
What a game changing update this is!! Amazing how deep ECAMM integrates with Zoom now! Thanks for the detailed video 🙌
you're very welcome. Yes it's a HUGE update!

Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
Excellent video Adrian! thank you for doing it. I love the new feature integration with zoom. 👍
Bam!! Great stuff! Zoom integrations is a boom!!!
Great video. I think it is a game changer and also I liked you walked through the setup as well.
And it is awesome! Thank you for your constant and relevant updates. And hey, I am the first to comment. HURRAY 😀
there should be a prize for this! 😂
Thanks Adrian (and Owen) very, very useful
Thanks for the info, Great as always!!

As I understand now that no need for setting up loopback for everyone to hear each other
correct as they're already in your Zoom meeting
Does the Zoom feature use less computer resources than bringing them straight into the computer via ECAMM?
Very helpful, Adrian! Thank you!
My pleasure!
Would be great if their was a similar integration to MS Teams

am i the only one here who thinks this is all WAY TO CONFUSING?

No. I'm lost.

I did show multiple feeds

I would personally stick to 1080, I have had similar issues with the stream crashing when in 4K.
This is great
Yep, pretty awesome now isn't it!
Thank you for a great video again, Adrian! Sound doesn’t “automatically” flow into Zoom and scheduled Webinars don’t show up on the list :(

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro. 2.8Ghz, quad core i7, 16 gb with 2133 mhz. I run my streams with this. Can I run a zoom with this computer?
I should think so, just close off other apps that you don't need

669K now, well done! ;)
Personally, I still bring them in using the interview feature so they can see the live comment feed too.
