For 39.5 mil, the bathroom setups are kinda basic. Also, the property feels like just going from one bedroom to another. The only true selling point is the incredible view, but living in a space with a price like this should be more than just a view. I can't believe they don't include gym or theater at least. Some places may even have swimming pool. It may be just me not being able to see values in these properties, tho. But as for the video itself, it is very well done as always.

The real price is for a huge place like that in new york. You are essentially paying for the location and i see why people dont get that cause you could have everything in the world for 40 million in a place like Texas but when most of new york lives in houses smaller than a room in this house the cost adds up.
No, I’m afraid of heights. ☺️ But besides that I’d miss trees, birds chirping, peace and quiet. New York isn’t called the city that never sleeps for nothing.
Actually, I felt a bit rushed through the video by you. A lot of unfinished sentences and a rather quick cutting gives the video an unrelaxed touch. Just my opinion, not your best video :)
39.5 million at first I wasn't sure it's going to be worth it but after watch the tour I was like okay it's a really really nice apartment with a really beautiful city view, if I own that apartment I'll never get bored with that view for sure
That gym space lookin mad claustrophobic and that black and white striped wall area for the kids lookin a bit psychotic but other than that, the house is beautiful all around with the most breath taking views of New York I’ve ever seen!
Amazing penthouse. Normally I enjoy house tours way more than penthouse tours, but this one is on a whole other level. This penthouse really looks like a lot of thinking went into it to make it really cozy while being very luxurious - not even talking about the views. I just love it! Incredible video as always, it is amazing how fast your channel grows and production quality increases. Keep it up
Reality Check: The quality of your life might actually improve if the 1% percent-er actually that lives/will live here paid taxes, didn't off-shore their money or pay for more GOP clowns to convince working people the nonsense that they can have this too- when they do not have a pot to pee in or a 78th story window to through it out of (and never will).
Yeah, first of all, I would never want to live so high above the ground, so far from everyone and everything, and second of all, I don't really like New York that much to live there. Plus the penthouse feels rather cold, "sterile" and depressing in my opinion.
@@karathefox2004 I am really asking myself if people in such apartments are feeling themselves much more better compared to normal people than rich people living in villas. Such psychological/sociological research would be interesting.
@@TheYehudi100 Because it seems cold and gloomy to me, it's very busy and squished together and I prefer cities with more greenery. Also I'd just like to spend the same amount of money on something nicer and bigger somewhere else. But that's just my very subjective opinion.
@@karathefox2004 I get the cold and sterile thing but at the same time I can tell that this house has a couple living here with two kids probably between 9 and 2 and they have a live in Nanny or Au Pair. Like the staging requires lack of personal objects but you can tell someone made this house for themselves. Also lack of sunlight definitely contributes to it but that’s on the weather I guess. I personally think this has a lot of potential but it lacks warmth in the form of wood and earth tones, that’s what we all associate with a homey feeling.
Omg omg omg!!! The views are literally worth every penny in my opinion. Thank you so much Enes for the tour, and Mikey once again for the awesome camera skills.
Usually this is a slight sales technique. Put a higher price in someone's mind so when they see the actual price is lower they are more happy and willing to go for it.
The site where the building is situated is superb. The balconies are magnificent and I love the interior of the larger bathroom. I have been in love with sky scrapers since I was a little girl and New York has the most stunningly gorgeous ones in the world. I am sorry that the people of New York lost their magnificent masterpiece The Singer Tower. She was the centre diamond of Manhattan.
For safety purposes, I personally think the balcony area should have a significantly higher reinforced barricade to prevent any dizzying mishaps - ahem, like "accidentally" falling over the glass barrier on Floor 74 all the way down to ... Floor 0. Ouch!

That’s a very specific taste for a specific person. I don’t like tight spaces and so much of it feels dark. Not a feel good place to live. More cold and sterile
I feel like this is the type of house that doesn’t actually get lived in. Probably just a place that a billionaire stops by occasionally as a place to stay when they’re in town
Minus the views and some marble finishes you could buy a house of similar size and function in the mid west for about $39,000,000 or so less and have a yard...... wouldn't give $50 for that light in the kitchen unless it was made of gold
The view is nice, interior is simply amazing and the finish is to die for. Although I must admit I'm not too fond of the choice of wallpaper in the kids section of the house, but again, it's about $39,480,000 over my budget.
Exactly. The wallpaper was a cool idea completely overdone. It should have been limited to one wall in view at a time, not the whole dang hallway and rooms. This is how I felt about the kitchen backsplashes too 8:23. They would drive me insane. I feel like the Joker from Batman would live here.
Exactly is the right thing about this cozy penthouse.and many of us can imagine the coziness of the coldness of New York in winter ❄️ and sitting next to the window and drinking a hot chocolate with breathtaking view.🤤🤤🤤🤤

You get to keep an eye on 33 Thomas street, so maybe...
No, I’m afraid of heights. ☺️ But besides that I’d miss trees, birds chirping, peace and quiet. New York isn’t called the city that never sleeps for nothing.
Those views are worth the money

Keep it up

I really didn't feel that this house was worth 40 mil
The decoration is pretty shitty too.
I concur, nothing there to excite me or to say $39 Mil!!! Like your comment.
You could build your own house from scratch and have it designed the way you want it for that amount of money.
Its mostly the location. I could build a small castle with modern luxuries on a nice private piece of land for that money elsewhere.

This is a real cool place that I would never buy even if I could afford it.
Yeah, first of all, I would never want to live so high above the ground, so far from everyone and everything, and second of all, I don't really like New York that much to live there. Plus the penthouse feels rather cold, "sterile" and depressing in my opinion.
@@karathefox2004 why dont you like nyc?

Floor 0. Ouch!

Minus the views and some marble finishes you could buy a house of similar size and function in the mid west for about $39,000,000 or so less and have a yard...... wouldn't give $50 for that light in the kitchen unless it was made of gold
🤮
The view is nice, interior is simply amazing and the finish is to die for. Although I must admit I'm not too fond of the choice of wallpaper in the kids section of the house, but again, it's about $39,480,000 over my budget.
Exactly. The wallpaper was a cool idea completely overdone. It should have been limited to one wall in view at a time, not the whole dang hallway and rooms. This is how I felt about the kitchen backsplashes too 8:23. They would drive me insane. I feel like the Joker from Batman would live here.

I feel like whoever can afford that place, will be far too busy with their work and status to even enjoy that place. For some reason it feels more isolated than a house in the mountains, there's something eerie about living on top of the world in a property like that, as you are not part of the world.
Hense why they say it’s lonely at the top
first part may not be true. There are many people who have the money and the time as well. second part is totally true. i actually felt depressed watching this video. It is lonely at the top. no matter how much money i have, I may never buy something like this.
I've had friends who lived in places ilke that it's not a big deal and it's a nice view but NYC is about people and what they do.
Right? It seems so isolated.
I don't remember who said this, but "money won is much sweeter than money earned". That said, anyone would love to get a place like that, but if you consume your whole in the pursuit of such luxury, once you get there it won't be that big a deal, and you'll realize that the thrill of the chase was by far the best part of it all.
