      I'm still so new at this aspect, takes me forever to get things to all time up with the music - make one change and 30 other things get out of sync. Thanks a ton!

    Superb video quality my friend :-) And know what you mean about the bike, I have had a 2016 for a month now and was very unsure at first as totally different from all the sports bikes I have owned! Only had 648mls so have to be a bit careful still but after a few rides out I just cannot stay off the thing lol I have never ridden any of the other bikes I have owned (8) as much as this. I now have 1300mls on her in just a few weeks, so as much as the original owner did in 3yrs! Just love it. Sat on a normal street bike the other day and now they feel alien to me and very cramped....keep up the good work.

    A huge thumbs up Triple X on the vlog. It was excellent. Your filmmaking skills are very, very good. I'm sorry I missed the event as I would like to try out The XDiavel myself but I will probably have to wait until The Motorcycle Show. I hope you will keep your Harley and stay in The Harley Family when you get your XDiavel. Your neighbor in SF.

    Okay dude, I have edited the heck out of some 4-5 camera angles and drone footage before. I came nowhere close to this quality, but I can tell you that I know from personal experience that you put a ton of hard work into this. Hat's off to you, my friend. Amazing video and editing.
    The Italians know what they're doing, their whole line-up right now is full of win. Not surprised at all that this model impresses everyone that rides it.

    Saw the 18 minute length and thought, I'm not going to last. I was wrong, big time! That intro is LIT AF. Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts and opinion about the XDiavel. I'm still not a fan of the forward feet positioning. The XDiavel is going to do what the Monster did for Ducati 10 years ago.

    I've been watching and enjoying your vids for a couple of months now. Finally got off my arse and created an account so that I could comment, like and subscribe. As you're the first moto vlogger I started watching, it's only right that you're the first I subscribe to. I'll be heading over to Shawn Smoak's channel next.
    This vid just shows that you only keep getting better. Personally, I appreciate the effort that you put into providing content. I'm always amazed at how people like yourself manage to work, study, deal with family life, spend time on the bike AND still fit in the time for selecting and editing video. Damned glad you do too. This was just a top notch production.
    As good as this video is, I have to ask you to just STOP! My heart's set on getting a Street Bob next year, ok? I mean it! That's what I want. Stop making me look at the XDiavel! I don't want to feel confused about my motorbikeality.
    Ride Safe and often, and while you do, I'll be 'liking' all of the videos that I've so thouroughly, well, liked.

    • @XXXDeadhead
      @XXXDeadhead  8 років тому +1

      I feel very honored for that! Thank you! Filming and editing has recently become more about passion and less about hobby - so the time and effort is worth it all for me!

    • @theblackdouglas3253
      @theblackdouglas3253 8 років тому +1

      Well your passion is paying off. Not just with this one though, although your use of the drone was an excellent extra dimension, literally. The Utah and Yellowstone series', for examlpe, came across brilliantly. Graphics and music were spot on. The selections that made up each video fit together and told the story.
      To be clear, I first came to your channel just to find out about the Iron, as I was thinknig of getting one. Never thought for a second that I'd be the least bit interested in motovlogs. Now I'm hooked.
      Looking forward to the next vid.
      P.S. Loud pipes DO save lives.
      P.P.S. I'll try to sound less stalker-ish from now on. I'm an ocean and a continent away anyway. You're safe :)

      XXXDEADHEAD MOTOVLOGS Mine committed hari kari, battery went dead five minutes into the flight and it drowned itself in a river carrying a GP4 black on a night flight. Id followed all the correct protocols (except flying at night) and still it went horribly wrong. Would like the new Phantom 4 with the follow me mode and obstacle avoidance, watching some of your videos got me excited about the possibilities for improving the story telling. You know that it becomes an expedition just to go for a ride with so much equipment. Thanks again for your time, I know you have so much to do. Peace.

      +Robert Doyle Most of the time I do not test ride. But, I am looking at doing at least 5 or 6 more before my big Yellowstone Road Trip in July. Looking at the Scrambler, Panigale, Road Glide, some Indians, and a few other surprise vids :)

    Great intro ! nice bike , though 20k, as far as touring and looks, and not much more expensive, Harley Street Glide, (Shawn Smoak), also great looking bike, it still boils down to we just need to be able to afford two bikes, know what I mean .LOL

      +Mike BigEasyRider Thanks! Yeah, a lot of people have the street glide - its a great bike for touring (or commuting on freeways if no lane splitting or filtering), but its a lug anywhere else. Do not get me wrong, it would make for a great second bike in my garage.... I just need something more capable in safety and capability for the mountains around me.

    When u get this bike you will always want to go at the speed of light and miss the scenery .
    Fast is good but light speed isn't !!

    • @XXXDeadhead
      @XXXDeadhead  8 років тому

      Nah - I will still enjoy the sights with my friends - just the older roads I have travelled so much will be taken at speeds in the direction of light speed :)

    Very very Nice!! I agree I love the matte black I'm a little biased I used to have a matte black 696 monster and I loved the color made it mean looking. What version do you think you will lean towards when you are able to buy one standard or S? I do like the idea of the flashier bits and the nicer mirriors the blue tooth hmm cant decide myself... And an exhaust I was thinking right away the same thing I heard some vids with the termignoni exhaust on this bike sounds really good with baffles in! (of course for me they would be out and never go back in.) I hope competition werkes makes a gp pipe for this bike! Love mine on my Monster 1200S check it out on my vids if you get the chance I love that pipe makes my bike mean as balls sounding! So glad I came across your vids of the Xdiavel rides thanks XXXDead!

      Thanks! Stay tuned because I will definitely have more XDiavel on the channel - possibly in epic ways. And I would still take the matte black I think - though it's a win win

    The only downside is I see a lot of people getting rid of Ducati's because of constant problems and shop time. I'd also be sad to see the kind of cruiser style vids go away. But everybody has their own thing.

      I don't think I would change anything on my channel - other then adding speed :)

    Damn I hate where they put that display it'd be impossible to see for someone with a long torso. I'm like Shawn, it needs some serious mods to be cool, that tail, that headlight, the forward pegs... at that point though you might as well be on a modded regular Diavel or a Monster or even a de-faired Panigale.
    You can tell most of those people NEVER ride in a group, almost no one is riding staggered... which is actually the law in Commifornia. Oh... and that fuel light :P

    • @XXXDeadhead
      @XXXDeadhead  8 років тому

      For sure - some people will love it's looks, others won't. But this happens all over... For example, thought I would love the new Harley Roadster, but it looks like a piece of confused shit up close. I love the style and look of this bike, more importantly I love the functionality. That front light setup deflects an insane amount of wind.

      XXXDEADHEAD MOTOVLOGS I hope Shawn will get to head to Portland and ride the new Guzzis, have you seen them? the v9 bobber and the Audace?

    • @XXXDeadhead
      @XXXDeadhead  8 років тому

      +OtisENGINEuity the Bobber looks kinda cool - the Audice looks ridiculous to me, not half as ugly as the Flying Fortress though

      +OtisENGINEuity the California 1400 would be fun, but would rather get a street glide or an Indian bagger type - but I haven't seen any of them in real life so can't judge yet

    I have a 2012 Road King if I was younger, I'm 60 now, I would like the Ducati for a second bike. But I like going on long rides mostly and like the comfort and storage. But when I'm with the group we have a pickup following so we put extra crap in it. Did a 5000 mile trip when I had a Sportster.

    • @XXXDeadhead

      I hear you on this - however, just a thought... They will have bags for this in the future, it is lighter weight, and offers far more safety - I only mention this because the statistics for 55+ almost mirror the statistics of 24 and under for motorcycles. I attribute this to (speculate) the bikes weight, brakes, and ability to lean... Some of it can be attributed to riders i assume: their reaction times, ability to hear sound frequencies, and their vision (and other factors). In other words, it's not just high performance for speed - it offers far more advanced safety features then the vast majority of cruisers.
