Wow, as a hotel lover I must say luxury hotels in China are way better than those in Europe and America, the size of room is more spacious generally starting from 45 sqm, the interior design is much better, as most of luxury hotels in China are in the newly-built building, you are more likely to enjoy panoramic views of cities with floor-to-ceiling windows, the construction standard in Asia is the highest, not to mention, always offer you the greatest value, much cheaper than Western luxury hotel. For example, take a look at Park Hyatt Paris (1500 euro per night with only 30sqm for regular room and very bad interior and view ) and Park Hyatt Hangzhou(only 350 euro, but 55s for regular room and you can enjoy panoramic view of the city on the high-rise buildings. So my genuine tips for hotel is never choose luxury hotel in the Europe and America, it’s not worth of money at all!!!
Shanghai's hotel is also very affordable compare to Europe and Japan, although Shanghai is more advanced than Bangkok, but their room rate are at same level@@k.k.c8670
There is always free breakfast in most good hotels in China unlike western hotels where you have to pay for it. The food in high end Chinese hotels is always out of the world.
Wow, what a luxurious hotel. It feels like a palace. The lighting is very intelligent. Hotels with the same price in Europe won't get such a good view and room, and Europe is just an ordinary room. The hotel also provides free food, which is impossible in Europe. It's hard to imagine, is this poor China? Western media always say that China is poor and backward, has no human rights, and has been in collapse. The flowers in the flower market are beautiful, and I like them very much. I am in a good mood when I see flowers.
West is jealous. They know they have lost to China badly and can't fathom it. China respects other human beings, luxury hotels owners in the west like to rip their customers and unwilling to provide ultimate luxury because they internally hate their customers and want to spite them.
$400 is so reasonable to have such massive hotel rooms!! And so good service, which I don’t think anywhere else would provide. Actually $400 per night here in Australia, there is no way you can get anywhere a decent room during holiday season.
I just looked up online, it’s just expensive during the Chinese New Year. Tomorrow, the regular room is only $100ish and their upgraded suite is only $130ish 😂😂

Glad to see you guys are having fun in Kunming. Correction of a small mistake: In China, the difference in food types for breakfast, lunch and dinner is also very obvious. There are some foods that most people eat in the morning and others that are eaten primarily in the evening. In addition to staple food such as rice, which is used to go with meat and vegetables, most other rice and noodle foods, such as steamed buns, Cantonese dim sum, pies, fried dough sticks, fried rice, spring rolls and noodles are usually eaten in the morning (fried rice is popular is usually eaten in the morning, because in the past, people used to make it with leftover rice from the previous day, although this is mostly not the case now). Many people now also follow Western style to eat bread, sausages, etc. in the morning. On the other hand, barbecue, hot pot, crayfish and beer are generally eaten at night. Most "formal meals" (mainly stir-fried or stewed mixed meats and vegetables) are eaten at lunch and evening, but generally not in the morning. In addition, due to regional differences, the same food is eaten at different times in different regions. For example, porridge is usually eaten in the morning in the north, but in Guangdong, it is often used as a late-night snack.
PS the color of the omelet reminded me how the eggs here are so much more orange (than the US at least)… I know that there is factory farming in China but eggs are not pasteurized or whatever & all I know is they’re better here even for 8 rmb (I’m in Beijing).
Last comment I promise! I love Watson’s soda water (in general) & tonic water (for gin & tonic) 🥰 even more than US versions! Aaaaand…I’ll talk about this in my future video about gyms here… but there definitely are no qualms about nudity in gendered areas (ie locker rooms etc).! The cost is not bad. Superb hotel features and amenities. The flowers look gorgeous. All captured by the camera. The food reminds me of Mandarin buffet restaurant here in Toronto. But here they serve lots of seafood like Atlantic salmon steak, mussels, baby octopus, etc. Turkey and roast beef are also available. They mix Chinese and Western food. Interesting vlog in China.

The Club Room has such good food and so much of it. Holy smoke. I would be trying every single one of them, and with the drinks. So pampered. With so many choices of delicacies, but being nostalgic for home food after traveling for 2 months definitely do call for cheese and hash browns to start things off. I hope there is ketchup to go along with the hash brown. Would it be worth a try diluting the strong alcoholic beverage with some juices, and turn it into a margarita? Oh I am getting hungry watching you picking the food to fill your plate. LOL. Looks like you need some chili sauce to go with the lamb. I got to have my snacks now watching you two eating the beef fat noodle and pork wonton soup. Oh I see you say "spring rolls," but they look like egg rolls to me in America. Spring rolls is a Vietnamese food that is a clear thin rice paper wrap with lots of tropical minty leafy veggies and some meat. Couldn't tea be a substitute for coffee to get that caffeine? Damn, is that how royalties live? So pampered...
Spring roll is definitely Chinese food.Don't you know Vietnam was under China's Control for over 1000 years in the history. Not only Vietnam but also other countries near China has been influenced deeply by Chinese culture. So lot's of south-east aisa food has a origin in Chinese food
$400 is a little expensive, maybe because of the spring festival. I checked Nanjing (a tier 2 or even "tier 1.5" level city), the downtown center luxury hotel cost about 500-700 Chinese Yuan a night. There are more expensive room in the hotel like penthouse style with very nice city view, costs 1300-1800 Yuan. The view may be better than this one in the video. Especially considering Yunnan Province is not a "rich province", I think this hotel in the video is a little overpriced.

Steve translates shulian (waterlily) as sleeping lotus, that’s a literally character to word translation. So cute
Wow❤ 终于奢侈一回了😊
然后被春节物价背刺了……尼玛3000块……平时才700啊……升级成他们那个套房也才899😂😂
Look at you guys! Movin' on up. The excitement is palpable. 😂
it makes a difference from the usual hell holes hahaha
Steven is sweating hard from the translation 😂. Its a really hard job
he done so well!
That is top quality service!
So pampered...
everything was amazing! hard to pick a favourite!
Spring roll is definitely Chinese food.Don't you know Vietnam was under China's Control for over 1000 years in the history. Not only Vietnam but also other countries near China has been influenced deeply by Chinese culture. So lot's of south-east aisa food has a origin in Chinese food

30mon is and I was thinking y'alls was looking tired....then you talked about drinks everything made sense
This is executive suite, 昆明喜来登, not even a luxury hotel, just a normal 5 star level
I noticed that this Sheraton in Kunming serves cheap Johnny Walker Red whisky in the exec lounge . Unusual. But the food looks very nice indeed.
I Our local city 🇨🇳 . order a room like This hotel just cost 60UsD(information hotel)
@user-un5st what city is yours?
Are you guys visiting the stone forest and Tianchi lake?
There is a luxury hotel built in a abandoned mine in Shanghai. Worth to experience.
