Love the fish. Love the chips with the malt vinegar and salt. Grew up close to the beach so the smell of the sea, hot sand, Coppertone, and the hot oil and the fish and chips brings back so many memories. We didn't have the mushy peas so never developed a liking.
As always, your recipes are down to earth and yummy as all get out. As for that last bit of beer...it would not have stood a chance.

You cannot get proper British fish & chips in the States, sadly. Growing up in Canada, I got better frozen fish & chips from the mall M&S than what they have here in the US. Perhaps thanks to Rik I will make my own ❤
