Jason H, I just want to say thank you, so much for all your presentations and humor you put in to it it it's make a big different thank you. Ho yes say hi to the children they are, so sweet.
Excellent book for the beginning woodworker, like me :) LOTS of joints are explained in great depth, and a decent overview of tools & basic techniques. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxcZqgZ8Ynkiz5n_LxIWRlAicuzmz5kCHG Personally, I'd have preferred fewer joints to be covered in favour of more in depth material on techniques etc., but still a very good book and worth the price
Side note: I watch project videos all the time. This is among the first times I have seen an upfront call out of the amount of wood required to make it happen. Excellent video feature. More people should do this.
It is interesting to have an old video pop up and see the progress that you have made in your presentation style. Good to begin with but also helps appreciate all the more what you have become. 👍👍👍
My sentiments exactly! I just completely finished watching EVERY video he has on UA-cam (Dec. 3rd, 2022). I'm surprised he doesn't have more subscribers yet. Jason is great!
BRO... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Keep making content!! I can't believe you only have 2 full projects on here. The production value you have here is like you've been producing content for years!! VERY well done and can't wait to see what you do in the future!!
Brilliant video and commentary - "if your piece does not resemble a table, apparently you are no good at wood working and you should choose a different career" - unfortunately for me i had a mouthful of coffee when you said this, which hence ended up on my computer screen as i laughed. Priceless !!!!
Wow you really increased your skills in three years, More specifically since this particular video. even more specifically, those funky glue ups, Even even more more specifically, .... Oh never mind - it's been nice watching you evolve!
I started following a floor guy this morning, because he had a flavor flav painting on his wall. Now I'm following you, icing on the cake was the Jeremiah Johnson poster. Keep up the rockstar work
I have tried to watch woodworking project videos and in general I want to saw my fingers off by the time I'm half way (if not sooner) through with it. They are either so excited you'd think they just won the lottery or something or they are so boring they put me to sleep. You can be monotone, BUT you are truly entertaining and I really enjoy watching your videos. I don't often have questions about what you are doing or why. Which is great! Please keep making content!!!
Absolutely enthralling both in terms of technique and commentary. I thank you for simplicity of explanation for a novice woodworker and the privilege of a free lesson.
I didn’t have a table by the end of the video so I watched it again. But I still didn’t have a table. I’ve watched it 451 times so far. All of your views so far are from me alone. You’re welcome.
I enjoyed this video. I came from popwood playback. I like the table and thank you not to speak too much fast like many UA-cam makers! English still pretty new language for me in France. Your wall behind you at start looks like a store to visit, only one that stocks a much better range than the typical French retailers!
I used this method of making thinner stock appear thicker by glueing those boards underneath the top twice. Both times the table severely warped within a year. I believe because on two ends of the table, the grain of the boards that were glued underneath are perpendicular to the grain of the tabletop. Has anyone else had this issue? Also, how was the top attached? Did I miss it? Project looks great!
Great looking table. Everyone but me probably already knew this, but if you use this method to have a thicker looking table edge, and paint it vs stain, seasonal movement, guaranteed, will crack the paint in every spot that the wood moves and turn your project into your next potting bench or spray paint table. Some lessons are learned the expensive way 😖
Pretty new here, great tutorial and great work. Please keep on making these, too funny I will have to watch it again, just to ensure I have the right piece of furniture ! Too funny
Just found your channel today and I love it. Love the care you put into each project, but also your extremely detailed narration. That’s been my fav part. Like the point where you mentioned having the ends of the boards that make the top, to all be “growing” diff directions. Like when you drew the half circles? I have always heard people talk about taking into account how the word moves but I have never really had anyone explain to me how to go about that. So thank you so much for saying that.
Man thanks for sharing this video. Great stuff. The way you break it down step by step is very practical and makes a lot of sense. Very helpful. You make some quality stuff.
I've just stumbled across your channel. Brilliant. I notice you've just started making videos...Please keep it up. I see woodworking channels come and go and I can understand why, it must be an incredible amount of work. Thanks for this!
I think your shop is great. Love your sense of humor and wall art. Id really like to know more info on how you make it as a furniture builder. I do cabinets by trade.
You're funny, but I learn alot watching the video. I think I will start with something smaller to build as a beginner having viewed your basic wood working tools to have get.
Hey Jason, nice work on the table mate! I have started woodwork as a hobby and your video will come in very handy when I build mine, even if it isn’t planned to be round. I think your videos are great but with your humour and dry delivery in each video is stepped up to be fantastic! Keep up the excellent content brother...
It would be cool if you gave some measurements of diameter of table in relation to the floor cross joints supporting the table. For a 48” table I am guessing 32” to 36” ?.
You still checking old comments/questions? Those beveled diagonal leg supports- whenever I try to drill through a bevel into a flat upright, I always get some tiny amount of screw creep. No way would I be able to get a nice line around all 4 sides of the base. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!? Beautiful work!
Hi there, thanks for making this really great video. You make it really easy to follow and I love the jig ideas! It’s probably above my skill level but I’m going to give it a go anyway! 👍

Love the video , building a 6, round trestle table for my daughter out of maple
Funny to see a video from five years ago versus today. How much has changed.
Side note: I watch project videos all the time. This is among the first times I have seen an upfront call out of the amount of wood required to make it happen. Excellent video feature. More people should do this.

Love the musical rollercoaster of this video. Elevator music, 80s music, folk, and medieval vibes.
Good. I was looking to build round table and seek for inspiration. Searching is over.... thank to this video.
This guys deadpan delivery is fantastic. Subscribed. Here’s hoping that after today I don’t need to pick another hobby.
BRO... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Keep making content!! I can't believe you only have 2 full projects on here. The production value you have here is like you've been producing content for years!! VERY well done and can't wait to see what you do in the future!!
I just completed my table that is 68" round and I copied your design. It turned out great, thank you for the video!

Thanks for the warning about the biscuit placement. I would have forgotten about that!

Keep up the rockstar work
I can imagine how beautiful this table would be in walnut.
“Sometimes you have to cut corners in order to do things right” that is a T-shirt right there!
As soon as I heard that I thought of Wendy's "we don't cut corners" lol
That's profound.
I have a 40 yr old round table made by my father in law in need of a new base. Now I know how I'm going to do it. Thanks!

great video editing, audio and camera angles
love the smartassery and humor

Blake’s channel is highly recommended. I’m digging your style too, BM👍
Awesome table. Nice tips too.
Absolutely amazing work. I’m a carpenter/framer by trade but my passion has always been woodworking like this....Keep blessing us with your content
Great table and awesome sense of humor made me a subscriber
Beautiful table
WOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!! thanks for show us how you made it , it is wonderful!
- EXCELLENT ! ! ! Nice done & illustrated.

Très belle réalisation, bravo👍👏👏. Norbert ( France )
Outstanding build.
Very nice table and better built than some of the pricey tables I have seen in the stores 👍
I like the way you say thickness boy..
Excellent job and final product. Came across you by accident and I'm glad I did.
Can you make an extendable table?
I enjoyed watching you work on this table! Thank you.
love your humor. I keep following

Love all the tips.
Brillant thanks for sharing your talent
Great clip, I learned a lot. Your use of small disposable jigs is outstanding, thanks for sharing.
Great production, technique, and sense of humor. Thanks for sharing.
Wish I could be as talented as u
Really good mate and your other videos are amazingly funny

Love this old vid I subscribed
Hopefully some day, I will be able to make something this beautiful. Absolutely awesome.
Awesome work Jason! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
عمل متقن جداً بجودة عالية .
Awesome job brother
Nice table
The simple fact that I can learn something new about woodworking AND have a good laugh in the process is awesome. Damn good sir. Look forward to more.
very nice, love that finish
Excellent work!!
oh my gosh!' that table came out beautiful!! I want it
Excellent video, really like the new moth intro
Thanks for the video, over time that finish will take on a slight pink tone as the tannins in the wood react to it.👍🔨🇨🇦
Pretty new here, great tutorial and great work. Please keep on making these, too funny I will have to watch it again, just to ensure I have the right piece of furniture ! Too funny
Great video as always. I really like how the table turned out
13:18 I Love that assortment of clipboards on the wall! Each one details a different project, I presume?
Thanks
For the "one man" glue up: The floor is a shorter work area than the bench...😊
Mark Howard true but the one man lift from the floor onto the bench wouldn’t be fun.

Cara que mesa da hora no capricho, parabéns 👏👏👏👍🤗
Awesome video!!
I dig it.
Keemstar snapp on these niqqas 😂💪
Hey buddy keep up the great work I enjoy each and every show, the woodworking is pretty good too
Great build and video my good man. I watched all of it. Very nice and organized shop...
New subscriber! Enjoyed the dry wit. I hope you continue
scott atwater I feel the same way. I love his dry witty banter
Reminds me of the comedian Steven Wright.
Hi Just watched all three videos back to back. Thank you and finally just ordered the Domino ouch!! Great Content and more please
Man thanks for sharing this video. Great stuff. The way you break it down step by step is very practical and makes a lot of sense. Very helpful. You make some quality stuff.
Bourbon Moth Woodworking, come for the craftsmanship, stay for the hilarious monologue commentary
sometimes you have to cut corners to make them right...round like a record baby--right round, round, round...
Love the video man. Well done. Table came out great and it was really informative. Appreciate the content!!
I've just stumbled across your channel. Brilliant. I notice you've just started making videos...Please keep it up. I see woodworking channels come and go and I can understand why, it must be an incredible amount of work. Thanks for this!
Real interested in your MFT style tables. Maybe a quick video on them in the future.
Why not after the first few slabs, put the piece on the floor to attach the last slabs. Step stool not required. Love your videos
I think your shop is great. Love your sense of humor and wall art. Id really like to know more info on how you make it as a furniture builder. I do cabinets by trade.
Been following you on IG for sometime now and now I’ll be watching your videos. Great build.
Dude your sense of humor is killin me the Hitler part especially 🤣🤣🤣
Loved the project and the commentary. You’re funny AF man! Keep up the good work.
PS. I love your shop, it’s nice and tidy!
you didn't drop it or break it, so you did well 😁
Nice table and video Jason!
Rather than measuring it all out could you use a sheet of peg board to mark where the holes need to be?
You're funny, but I learn alot watching the video. I think I will start with something smaller to build as a beginner having viewed your basic wood working tools to have get.
Great job man! Turned out killer, love the finish.
Man! I'm so glad we can see more of your shop and woodworking creativity. I loved the video even when your Index finger at 14:05 creeped me out hahaj
Hey Jason, nice work on the table mate! I have started woodwork as a hobby and your video will come in very handy when I build mine, even if it isn’t planned to be round.

nice job
Best vid now on to lowes and home Depot 🤣🤣🤣
Great video, love to see craftsmen making pieces with quality wood rather than 2x4s!
Were there ever any plans made for this? My wife wants a table just like this for the kitchen.
This is awesome!!!!
Great build, i've been wanting to make one for some time! Takes time, but i think i can tackle this project.

Did he just tell us to find a street youth to help with the glue up!? I'm dying over that 🤣
