I’ve made enough end grain boards to know how much work a “regular” design is. This was insanely well executed. So much time and patience. Scared the bejesus out of me with that first set of thin rips where your fingers were so close to the blade.

I thought the jointer was bad, the rip cuts were way worse.
I started asking myself if the cut I was making was worth a finger. The answer is always no. No project is worth maiming yourself.
There's always a safe way. You just have to be patient enough to find it and do it.

Table saw AND router table, gave me goose bumps. Don't try THAT home! Don't let the "It won't happen to me" syndrome get you. Familiarity breeds contempt. And all that jazz.
