"I'll just cut this piece one eighth of a squadre-feet miles per arms to make everything flush" Ahahah As a wannabe weekend woodworker it is confusing just to see experts work. You have no idea what passes on my mind when I see americans calculate proportions
I just watched my first video of you last night or maybe it was just early this morning as I stayed up til 3 am trying to figure out how the wardrobe I’m building (in my bedroom) got so out of square and took a break to ease my frustration and it was yours. Now 5 hrs later I’m awake and as has become human nature I reached for the part of my brain outside my skull, no not my eyeballs, that really keeps things in order (yes, my phone) and see this video in my feed. Such a great way to start the day....now for a cup of tea and back to the drawing board on trying to square up that 🤬wardrobe!
Love your sense of humor and look forward to hitting the lotto and splurging on those Woodpecker tools you use! Keep up the great content. Looks beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful table. Very complex woodworking and you made it look very easy. I’m really impressed by your artistic design, woodworking skills, humor and video editing.
Thank you Jake!! I was a little skeptical of the marble top at first, but it completely changed my mind once I saw it on there. I hope to do more pieces like this in the future. Thanks for watching!! 🙏👊
Beautiful base with interesting details about the joinery. Would of liked to hear a little more about the marble part but I guess you just bought it from the store.
You have got to be the most entertaining wood worker I've seen. Just the perfect blend of high quality craftsmanship, explanation, and sarcastic humor. I love the voice overs. Keep up the great work!
I'm more than a little impressed by you fitting two opposing rows of Dominos the way you did and having them fit. Not sure I could pull that off. I'm sure there's a few tricks to making that work, but precision is certainly chief among them, since you didn't have a common reference surface. Unless I'm not seeing that right, just a few thousandths off and you're screwed. That by itself may be deserving of a video!
Thanks so much!! Yes, careful layout is extremely critical when trying to line up that many Dominos. THe Domino is an amazing tool, but it only does what it tells you to do 😜. And you are right, if one is off, the assembly will not go together correctly. Luckily, there are work-arounds, such as slightly sanding or shaving one Domino if that happens, but a perfect fit is much more favorable.
You are without a doubt the master of your craft! Quite insightful and motivational video. This just provided me with a great concept for my next woodworking project, thanks a million man
Man, you are a beast at what you do. I have always love wood working but never went to school for it. I purchased a lot of tools and just start learning on my own. Great stuff.
If I can make you laugh, it was all worth it! Thanks so much for the kind words. New video comes out next week that's part of this walnut and marble series!

Beatiful piece crafted, thanks for sharing.
Thanks 👍. Sometimes the best tools are the cheapest. 😜😂
Beautiful piece. Good example of measure twice (or maybe five or six times), cut once.

Man I can see why you choke down those Freedom Units given how much in tools it would cost to swap to a more, ahem, practical system. Great work!
Great point! It's too late now! 😜
Good morning from Germany. Your work and your videos are awesome. Thanks for sharing. Keep up doing such incredible work.
Good morning! Thank you very much!!
Gorgeous table, Keith! You’re right, your head does look like the eye of a hurricane. That made me laugh hard! Ha ha

Secret for avoiding pesky 1/16ths of an inch: use metric
That’s cheating! 🤣
@@KeithJohnsonCustomWoodworking But it's just one-sevenhundredeleventh and five twelfths of a cheat...
@@andreasp6694 😂🤣 even MY ruler doesn’t go that small
My brain displays the length of 1 1/4" instantly but not 30 mm without undergoing multiplication or division
@@zenethkhwairakpam1191 Same! It's all what you are used to.
You make woodworking look easy.
It’s all in the video and editing 😜
Whenever I'm watching american woodworking videos I'm glad to live in Germany where we use the metric system instead of stupid 13/18 of an inch😂
It’s 13/16...there’s no such thing as an 18th of an inch 🤣😜👍🏻
That's some experienced wood skils, great!
Thanks man! 🤙🏻
Just wait when you'll finally discover metric system
Maybe in my next life 😂

Cool, thanks Curtis! I appreciate the kind words. And thanks for watching!
I gave up after he deviated from 1/4” increments
LOL. 1/4” ain’t gonna cut it in this biz. 😜
