These days, Pierce also has a popular UA-cam channel with more than 400,000 subscribers and offers an online masterclass program for thousands of users. You can get more information at timpierceguitar.com.

Tom Holmes uses A2 magnets. I have a set, had another set, and have talked to Tom about it. The Japanese Holmes were never held in the same regard.
Was hoping for a few more tones from your new set of signature pickups.😢
Very nice sounding, exactly what to expect from Tim !
that tone is godlike, hopefully get one set for my LP
Nothing like Jimmy Page tone!
maybe its me but a tele sound is not "sweet and warm" its full of bite and presence and cut.. that's whats great about that tele sound... esp the bridge
Dear god look at the flame on that les Paul!
It's out of stock 😢 love the tone
Low? 9.1k sounds pretty hot for a PAF.
F'ck though, they sound great. I have a set of Wagner's with a Crossroads in the neck and Cherrybucker in the bridge, they sound similar, but the neck here sounds like they have slightly more bite. At least they do in this video, with you playing them, in that guitar. Changing any one of those factors would probably change the result.
The A3 is lower power magnet than A2,thus the reason for a higher wind ,gibson uses theA3 in their custom buckers.
Alnico 3's is one I've never heard of. Very cool!! 💚🎸
So odd I’ve been looking at Tom Holmes. Pick up lately
Tim's decades of experience, and amazing hands not included, unfortunately.
"Officer Olson: Found somethin' there, Chief?
Marge Gunderson: No, I just think I'm gonna barf!"
A little more playing would be nice
Pickups aren't rocket science. As long as you have good components to make them with. There are hundreds of great pup
makers today. Hypothetically, If you sat down 25 experienced pup makers (both well known and unknown), same winder (with counter)
same alnico type magnets 2-3-4-5 , same wire, same bobbins and same potting the end result will be the same. Seth Lover said years ago
in a Guitar Player magazine article that the new Gibson humbuckers are better than the original PAF's. Manufacturers of pups and guitars are ALWAYS
going to get the very best players to demonstrate their products. They depend on the skill of the player to sell the product. UA-cam is
a great selling ground. Players that watch YT know that there are countless players demonstrating instruments (and pups etc.) who get
to keep the products for doing the demonstrations. Marketing strategy is get the greats to play the product in order to make the buyers to
believe they will sound like them if they buy the product.
It's the archer, not the arrow. Great players can play inexpensive guitars (pups) and still
sound great. Novice players can play $10,000.00 instruments and they will still sound like a novice. Summation: is all about
spending relentless hours, days, weeks and years to become another great player.....get FREE stuff and when you are good enough the big name
manufacturers will be begging you to play their products and you get to design your own and keep 'em all.
Hey Tim, do you like croutons with your tomato soup?
Sounds like my Sg
1:25 -- "So, when we first started on these the neck pickup was a little bit louder than the bridge pickup so he had to do some reworking to make this the exact same volume."
Rob: "Yup, Tim: I redesigned the entire thing!"
Rob at Arcrane is a total rip off. I sent him a pick up to repair and Cash that was over four months ago. He never returned my calls or anything status wise on the pick up total rip off.!!!
Who?!? And yet another paf clone? Theres only thousands of paf clones in the world but one more won't hurt..🙄
Warm pickups? Just use cheap ones and turn the central heating up......Cork sniffing BS haha
