I think bo3 is quite literally the best cod game of all time. despite having a horrible campaign the zombies,multiplayer and tons of new modes (free run, nightmares, deadops) makes up for it. this was the time to be alive. still playing this game to this day. this is the last good cod. its sad seeing it getting destoyed by hackers.
Personally, campaign peaked with BO2 and has had a struggle since then. I personally liked some of the campaigns (Ghosts and AW were fun), but Vanguard is just horrible. I'm not a PvP guy, so Multiplayer only was good in Ghosts with multiplayer progression against bots. Although, the multiplayer/3rd mode cross progression introduced in MW2019 was a very good call. For zombies, I agree, it is hard to top BO3 zombies as a whole and IW zombies Director's Cut reward. WW2 tried, good try though.
without a major rant, I personally think BO3 is mid, merely acceptable and soulless. nothing special but also nothing worthless. and in BO4's case, I believe it wasn't properly optimised for consoles/pc back then but now is very stable(even then I only ever crashed twice, both on round 179 on my ps4) and also nostalgia driven content which people want, till it gets released, then the complain/BO3 is peak cycle repeats regardless one of the very few people to actually explain their points and overall well put together video. good job 👍
I explained this the best I could without factoring in any bias or nostalgia, however I do think if they mainly focused on the chaos storyline in Black Ope 4, it would’ve been an incredible zombies. I honestly feel like them scrapping that is what made it fall apart and go to shit. Ancient evil was the last map and it was such a good ass map
Nah you know you is getting hate with this one. BO3 mid? Bo4 is remake after remake, My opinion differs, and souless??? It had so much available content and dlcs along with the large amount of mods and modding support.
@daqwdawdawd yeah, unfortunately or dare i say fortunately , bo3 maps to me never have a soul or atmosphere. To me it's like a 1 or 2 game desert that you would treat yourself with but never again for a few months, basically no replay ability, literally drains my enjoyment no matter if I play solo or with my bo3 worshipping friends. My game I go back to for a fun and difficult game of zombies is iw(meph fight especially, dcut be making it to easy at times). A game I find atmosphere to suit the genre and feel of the game simply ww2(default map has more atmosphere behind it than any dlc/default maps). Ever since I moved to pc I will admit, playing custom maps is hella fun and I do enjoy it, before I get bored due to slow leveling or no lvls at all(no rewards basically, but fair as its not a default/map)other than that slow progression, I do prefer elixirs over gobblegums but also not bothered dealing with them. Simply boss, to me bo3 bar making emblems and the occasional custom maps I play, don't suit the game. I feel like it was a disservice to the game to be released on so soon on console because damn those maps would like very nice on a ps5, series x build. Oh and the movement is all over the place, it's certainly not hot garbage, but certainly not #1, it may be hard for you to comprehend but, bo3 isnt everyones peak for zombies.Sorry for long read, hope you have a positively splendid day
@Warrior971T oh yeah, they had a whole can of worms to delve Into with the greek/norse gods, but hey ho everyone wanted aether story but cried when it wasn't to standard, and shat on chaos stories existence(then again bo4 is my go to chill cod for dping somewhat complex ees) probably won't get a cod that's appreciated by majority at all till people realise that they as the community are somewhat ruining the cods(from a zombies players pov atleast)
final someone says it this is a top tire cod people at the time just didn't want to enjoy it because they asked for a non-advanced movement game but got one this game was just pure fun best
i think i can understand sorta why, but comparing it to today i think it’s far better, obviously it’s all opinion so people CAN love the zombies we have today, a big issue with the community is a lot of the people don’t understand that round based isn’t for everyone, and they constantly argue over it. we can have the best of both worlds
@@Warrior971T idk I don’t mind round based or kinda like what Cold War did with the open world zombies that wasn’t the worst thing in the world but I just find black ops 3 to be very overrated definitely not bad by any means I just prefer black ops 2 especially when it comes to dlc maps minus chronicles yk
