You kept all your perks except quick revive when you downed, because you had the tombstone perma perk. Basicly if you get 4 perks before round 4 (i think), you will get the perma perk and keep your perks when you down. There are many other perma perks on Bo2 like perma jug which allows you to take another hit and phd flopper, but it's exclusively on Buried. You should research perma perks, there are allot of these and they only work on some maps.
the way you're so positive about the zombie maps just shows how much of a humble player you are, and we generally could use more people like you in the gaming community. it was such a nice change seeing a really chill guy enjoying the maps and pointing out it's good features rather than focusing on the negative. thanks for giving us the beautiful nostalgia of black ops 2, it was one of my favourites
As much as I love all his positives, I’m slightly annoyed he never mentions any criticisms. With so much expertise he’d have great constructive criticism to provide
The reason for buried having such good mystery box rng, is because you have a perma perk for the mystery Box active (Indicated by the teddy bear above the box) “To obtain this, the player must accept the weapon they receive out of the Mystery Box several times in a row before round 10. This is automatically lost at round 10 or the player has to decline five weapons from the box to lose it.”
BO2 had a rough start but you can really see the innovation even then. The buildables and new perks every map really made each map. Even if Tranzit is the worst of the black ops zombies maps, it at least tried new things and became the building blocks for what would eventually be origins and Buried which were amazing maps. The Jet gun would become the paralyzer and the traps wouldn't all need the turbine and the one trap that does in Buried is actually worth the combo.
The jump from bo1 moon to bo2 tranzit was the craziest I remember being 14 and all of us at school watched the tranzit trailer we couldnt believe it, it just takes too long to play a game

I couldn't imagine spending hours upon hours to hit round 100 just for one map and repeat it several times. Props 😂
BO2 zombies was amazing because it was different. Every map is entirely unique and plays so different from one another which is an overlooked and important aspect of a good zombies maps. I think Cold War is the most replayable zombies experience because of upgrade system, etc, but the big issue with Cold War is that the maps are pretty homogeneous as far as gameplay is concerned. The only differences they really have are wonder weapons and layout which makes how good the maps are entirely dependent on those two aspects.
When Die Rise first released, I remember the Sliquifier was so unbalanced. There was a single spawn you could camp at and shoot one bullet a round and it would wipe out an entire rounds worth of zombies from its chain reaction effect. Was so easy to get Round 100 and took I think about 4-5 hours.
I didn't knew zombie community was still so active ! I recently started playing (again) black ops 2 with friends, and it's cool to see that there's still a lot of player how enjoy bo2 zombie in 2022 Keep going dude !
I’m actually going through all of the black ops zombies maps in order currently (from WaW to Cold War) and from my experience, bo2 was some of the most enjoyable. It has a good balance in terms of difficulty and the mechanics and features are all innovative. Although there are some ‘bad’ maps like tranzit and nuke town, I was surprised to find that I enjoyed every single map, since they all have unique characteristics that keeps it interesting. I especially enjoyed die rise since I never really used the sliquifier to its full potential, so to get round 61 using it makes me want to go for round 100 after I’m done with the Cold War maps. Obviously I didn’t go for round 100 on every map (mainly one attempt per map, ranging from round 35 to 61), but in my opinion, it is one of the best black ops for zombies.
I've never even played a call of duty game but this looked so interesting. I had no idea there was all this unique building weapons and stuff in the game.
If you buy all 4 perks before round 5 on Tranzit, Die Rise, and Buried you get a perma perk called perma tombstone where u keep all perks after revive except QR. Great job! I've been waiting for someone to do this for a long time. By the way The Lucario Project has a great video on tranzit strategies including the jetgun. I love the tranzit respect.
10:10 the tombstone perma perk lets you keep all but 1 perk when you go down, and you get it by buying 4 perks before round 5. You don’t lose it between games unless you go down before buying perks multiple times. It also works on every victis map
It's SO heavy on pay to win making it one of the easiest especially after bo3 and implementing all the dumb ass medals giving you a fucking s-tier LMG at the start of the game it makes it a cake walk. Not to mention the perks and bonus affects they can possibly give you is broken. If you had the right perk combos with Fortress perk you could stand in one spot on classified and just mag dump with the hades and never die. Bo4 was boring because they made it so easy

Die Rise was literally never a bad map. It takes a few tries to finally get the knowledge of how to jump without killing yourself. There was a solid training area in the gong room (not too easy). My first experience with a Black Ops game was with BO4. I enjoyed the "IX" map and the multiplayer mode, but overall, I found it somewhat lacking. About six months after getting BO4, I picked up BO2, and I quickly realized that BO2 is superior in most aspects. especially in the zombies.
The reason you keep your perks when you go down on tranzit, die rise, and buried is the tombstone perma perk, if you buy four perks before round 4 you only lose the last perk you bought (or quick revive on solo)
Tranzit was always my favorite one to play, my brother loved to play the town. He always fell off or missed the bus, then you have that alien that scratches your face lmao. Good days.
My old best friend and I played Die Rise so much back in 13/14. Hands down my favorite Zombies map. We had so much fun with it and the bank thing made it so dang easy to play each time.
coming from someone who first played bo2 about 4 years ago, (i was stuck with a 360 and was dumb and didn't realise bo2 was on it) in my opinion bo2 is fucking amazing, I don't really suffer from nostalgia through playing so late in time and playing fairly constantly, it is a good game, i don't know the dlc maps except nuketown and i do enjoy them including transit, love ya samuel :)
Aside from the buildables in Buried, there’s more that makes it easy. Without using the bank, you can destroy all of the barriers with the booze, get 4 perks and pack your weapon on round 1. I ran this map so much back in the day and you can just run around from Jug Alley, around the bank and to Speed Cola. Shoot the trains as they build up until it takes too long. Then you can use the buildables. I don’t have the patience to get to round 100 so I got bored and quit at 52
note for buried. you can get to 100 very easy if you have a spring trap or paralyzer. there is a tree next to the fountain, between the witch house and church you can get into. zombies can still hit you but you just use the paralyzer the whole time and youre set. lots of spawns in that area makes it faster
I played bo2 for 3 years just because of the zombies idk I just loved zombies…from being too scared to play it alone at 8 years old to playing it everyday some of the greatest gaming ever up there with prime fortnite
I never realized about the Claymore glitch on origins because you can actually clean the tablet in the fountain. If you charge up an upgraded Staff and pull out your shield it counts as melee kills. so it makes complete sense if that works
My step dad told me literally yesterday or the day before that he doesn’t like mob of the dead and I said, “if you don’t like mob of the dead, your weird”
There’s a spot in buried where if you don’t buy the wall behind you, you can easily get to round 100 by just tapping the paralyzer. You can jump down or Hide in the stink that forms in front of you if you’re overwhelmed
I feel like Die rise was hated because its super different from regular zombie maps, same with Tranzit. Tranzit despite its difference was similar enough to regular zombies maps that the hate was more mixed, but Die rise is a really vertical map with alot of gimmicks which wasn't exactly a common thing for zombies back in BO2 days.
The way I find most consistent to get the Hell’s Redeemer is to get around 75 consecutive kills with the Retriever. You will hear a noise notification around 30 kills letting you know you are on the right track and then another after the requirement is complete.
I forgot to mention this, but the reason I didn't do nuketown, bus depot and farm is because its impossible to get too 100 unless using macros which is cheating. and town only one person has gotten round 100 and it takes 130 hours of gameplay and is one of the most impressive things you can do in all of zombies. How did I never know the cabin existed…. I thought I explored the whole map
the reason you kept your perks is because you got Perma Tombstone, keeps all perks besides QR
Just found this channel, shocked by how few subs there are. Please take mine this content is amazing

Eh the only map I liked in BO4 was IX anyway, IX was a fun map ngl, but I agree that BO2 is better, since I played when I was about 6 years old
Had to come watch this after watching that horrendous bo6 zombies gameplay
Same bro that's exactly why i'm here😭
Christ loves YOU and died for YOU on that cross🙏✝️
The reason you keep your perks when you go down on tranzit, die rise, and buried is the tombstone perma perk, if you buy four perks before round 4 you only lose the last perk you bought (or quick revive on solo)
Tranzit was always my favorite one to play, my brother loved to play the town. He always fell off or missed the bus, then you have that alien that scratches your face lmao. Good days.
It’s the nostalgia that makes us love Tranzit and the game itself
Mans holding that claymore like an excited kid showing his dad a drawing he made
My old best friend and I played Die Rise so much back in 13/14. Hands down my favorite Zombies map. We had so much fun with it and the bank thing made it so dang easy to play each time.
Without Black Ops 2 being made ‘outside the box’, we wouldn’t have the premise for Black Ops 3.
that MOTD guide was insanely accurate and concise
34:24 great clutch
coming from someone who first played bo2 about 4 years ago, (i was stuck with a 360 and was dumb and didn't realise bo2 was on it) in my opinion bo2 is fucking amazing, I don't really suffer from nostalgia through playing so late in time and playing fairly constantly, it is a good game, i don't know the dlc maps except nuketown and i do enjoy them including transit, love ya samuel :)
Great video man very committed to do round 100 on every map....you got my sub:)
Man this is such a great nostalgic trip. Didn’t know COD ZOMBIES was still popular. Heck yeah thanks mam
Bo2 has a steep learning curve but has true character. One of the GOAT shooters
the resilience on origins is insane! Great video + best cod ;)
great video, that was awesome and killed my boredom
One life lesson i learned from cod zombies is too think immidietly and never hesitate
BO2 came out while I was in college and it was the most fun I've had with a zombies game
you have just showed me everything i missed in this map and I am sat here wondering how I missed it. this map is bigger than I ever imagined!
I don’t have the patience to get to round 100 so I got bored and quit at 52
Buried is a hard map. Getting setup faster doesn’t really make the map any easier for highrounds.
@@OldBenKenobi2318 very ez
@@VernalJason Highrounding Buried is not easy unless you count round 50 as a high round. Which it isn’t.
@@OldBenKenobi2318 just use dubstep machine
note for buried. you can get to 100 very easy if you have a spring trap or paralyzer. there is a tree next to the fountain, between the witch house and church you can get into. zombies can still hit you but you just use the paralyzer the whole time and youre set. lots of spawns in that area makes it faster
Transit is just fun to me because it was one of my first zombie maps and 1st call of duty zombies map i've every played
Playing cod 2 zombies at 2017 was the best childhood
I played bo2 for 3 years just because of the zombies idk I just loved zombies…from being too scared to play it alone at 8 years old to playing it everyday some of the greatest gaming ever up there with prime fortnite
I love die rise! Such a unique and challenging map
1:09 that robot just took that fighter up the bum like nothing
I never realized about the Claymore glitch on origins because you can actually clean the tablet in the fountain. If you charge up an upgraded Staff and pull out your shield it counts as melee kills. so it makes complete sense if that works
No Black Ops had as much raw passion put into it like bo2
I STARTED DYING WHEN HE TRIED TO PRONOUNCE THE ACID GAT PAPPED😭😭
My step dad told me literally yesterday or the day before that he doesn’t like mob of the dead and I said, “if you don’t like mob of the dead, your weird”
guessing he is a bo4 fan
@@VernalJason no he said it’s too complicated but all the bo4 maps are way more complicated
@@AlexMZC guessing he is very bad at getting the hells retriever
There’s a spot in buried where if you don’t buy the wall behind you, you can easily get to round 100 by just tapping the paralyzer. You can jump down or Hide in the stink that forms in front of you if you’re overwhelmed
I loved die rise back then. So chaotic and fun.
In Die Rise when you have Who is Who and Quick Revive, just run around and Quick Revice will revive you but you keep your perks.
I think that’s why Cod players hate it so much. It’s unique. Cod players hate unique maps like Tranzit or Die Rise
I personally like training in the tunnel. Theres plenty of room for multiple players and you can buy ammo for the m16 too.
The way I find most consistent to get the Hell’s Redeemer is to get around 75 consecutive kills with the Retriever. You will hear a noise notification around 30 kills letting you know you are on the right track and then another after the requirement is complete.
Thanks for making this video. I never got all the DLC maps for BO2 so this was cool to see what high rounds look like.
Black ops three: I wish you could see that I’m a person toooo. I wish you could see that I am hurting toooo.
