"What is that sheep doin'?" A sentiment echoed both by daskalos AND some ancient Greek dude that may have lived in a house like this. Sheep do be doing weird shit since about forever. 😂
I am so so so SO glad I clicked on this video! I have yet to see many builds that aren't English Medieval or Gothic, so this feels like a huge breath of fresh air! Honestly, I think you did an amazing job! As for the windows, in my experience that tends to happen when you've clipped a building behind a window but I couldn't say for sure. Please please do more videos like this, because it is just FANTASTIC
Interesting video! it was a nice balance between the game and the history, it would be cool if you could include images of the pottery found, or images of ruins/reconstruction/recreation if available
I don't know anything about this game, don't think I've even heard of it before now. Also didn't get a notification for this video, but just saw your community post and I'm interested to check it out!
You can also snap structures directly against existing structures and then adjust them from there so you don't need to fiddle with the rotation all the time
have you heard about Vintage Story? it has lore-rich ruins, related decorative blocks and other great features not directly related to archeology, like microblock chiseling and dynamic seasons; however, if you were interested in making video, i suggest waiting until december, because devs plan to release big update before end of year.
For the stone walls, if you clip them at 2 or 3 stone lengths, then the tops will be flat across the top, and not have that ruined look. You can create a blank back wall by drawing a road under the length of the front wall. That will open up the building and give you that back wall. But it will be all rounded arches along the wall with the road under it, which I don't think is very Greek architectural style. You can correct me on that if I am mistaken though. Would you ever consider doing a Mycenaean Palace complex?
Aw I'm really happy you picked up Tiny House too! I've been thoroughly obsessed with this game since the demo came out heh. I'd love to see more of your arcaheologically inspired builds :3 That said, the game seems to have some crashing issues with certain GPUs. A fix for your crashes might be coming relatively soon, according to the devs?
I’m pretty surface level. I find an image of the footprint and usually a couple articles that cover the construction. For bigger projects like my reconstruction of Pylos I do a TON of research!

It's incredible how much is possible in this game and how satisfying and simple this complexity looks
Right?!?!
One thing im worried about with tiny glade is people actually expecting to much from it, and trough that leaving behind the original intent.
I could see that

Such a fun game with so many possibilities! Well done!
I’m so excited to see more builds for Tony Glade, I love the art style!
you can now turn off the crenelations and railings to provide a flat surface via the palette option (removing the need to overlay structures).
I've been watching for a while now and the videos are still good and interesting ❤❤❤
Glad you like them!
It is nice to see you build in other games as well, cool video.
Thanks!

You can hold Left Ctrl button to allow you to clip through walls. Maybe the Right Ctrl as well, but I always use the left one.
You figured it out right after I commented that lol.
We love tiny glade
This would be a good project in Vintage Story.

Very nice and very interesting! Greece is my favorite hollyday country btw . I do like the explanation go give by the building.
You give beauty
This was great, thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
really interesting love the history perspective

Do you plan to make other historical buildings in other games ex, tiny glade
Maybe! It all depends on what strikes my fancy

I was trying to figure out if that very thing was possible! Also thanks for the tips!

yeah i saw that update from them. I hope they get it fixed soon
Nicee
It turned out great!
Thanks!
I have to make this in minecraft now
If you're having a lot of issues with crashes... I'd definitely recommend updating your graphics driver.
Theres apparently a bug with the game that only affects certain graphics cards. The devs are aware of it and are working on a fix
What's your research process when you're reconstructing historical architecture?
