Tiny Glade is such an amazing little game. Some of the stuff people have made in it is just incredible. There's a creator who made Helms Deep, and was able to keep everything to scale with the Two Towers film. So cool and creative.
@@CityPlannerPlays do you think they will eventually release Tiny Glade for, let's say, the Switch2? I'm dying to build a PC but I haven't had the time to read up on new graphics cards, etc etc. I've been wanting to play games like Sim City 4, Cities Skylines (2 as well), and maybe a couple Sim games. I think you do a beautiful job building. Keep up the great work!
Tiny Glade is incredibly impressive on a technical level. Not only has the lead developer written the entire engine almost from scratch, but it also employs extremely advanced rendering techniques and optimizations that enable it to run at very high frame rates on mid-range hardware at very high quality.
I just wanted to share that throughout your videos I've found a great deal of inspiration for design. I'm not an artist, designer, architect, or really anything that uses design in my day-to-day life, but despite that, your videos have enriched my life by adding an appreciation for these things which I am very grateful for. The way things connect, the small details that I would normally overlook, the appreciation for the process of making something out of nothing, it has all given me a newfound love for conceptualising, designing, and building things in these virtual spaces which has also carried over into my appreciation for the real life structures around me. It's relaxing to come home from a long 11 hour shift and just bask in the creativity that you share so readily for free. So, I just wanted to share my appreciation and gratitude, love from Iceland. Your vision of these different worlds provide me with more than you could ever imagine.
18:46 As you mentioned I'd have made the base one base piece wider so the side wings were just a bit further from the center. I've really been digging the daily themes. Most nights when I need to unwind I spend 30 minutes to an hour and a half just making what I think fits the theme. The town square was fun, I probably ended spending three or four hours building "shops," stalls, and apartments. Also use the ruins to make a central well and landscaped garden to really make it feel alive. Today's theme was secret wishing well (or something similar) and I used their build as a starting point terraformed the whole building area. Adding ruins, hidden buildings and lots of overgrown paths.
Making arches by placing a path below the building/wall is neat! Also works with water underneath but then you have to create a path through the water (basicaly invisible once you make a bridge or wall over it). Would love to watch you play Frostpunk 1 or 2 at some point, I think you would enjoy it a lot! I only started playing Frostpunk after playing Manor Lords and it was really difficult, but I just couldn't stop playing.
This is so cool! I loved watching the build. I just got this game myself after watching your first video of it, and it's so much fun! I haven't tried rebuilding anything yet, but now I'm inspired!
I love this. You've done an excellent job showing off this game! I am still learning all of the building tricks, I appreciate you talking through what you're doing. 😊❤
Haha, exactly why I captured my own footage for almost everything. At once point, I had in my script that I "popped in my copies of Super Mario 3d All-Stars and Mario Odyssey" but removed it at the last minute. Hopefully Big N won't go crazy on my video, haha.
The real question is if you also modeled the foyer of the castle and when I look up, do I get an extra star!?! 😊😀 Great video! I love the idea of recreating famous buildings in Tiny Glade!
I've been playing this game since July, I do the same with removing things & I'm a long time watcher of your builds ... This game is so dang relaxing ❤
As a Princess Peach stan and Peachs castle obsessor i LOVE THIS! I am disappointed that u diddnt do the movie version since that IS imo the best version and there is ALOT of shots of the castle in the movie from diffent angles for a good few seconds (i took SS for them all) But this is VERY good and odysseys castle is rly cute
Nice! Its ok to cheat and draw up a grid so you can start to understand proportions a bit better. Ideally you have a base unit and know how the rest of build is from this base unit.
Such a cute castle, well done, Phil! The r/TinyGaldes sub is INSANE. To see what people create on there blows my mind. Highly recommend hanging out there! :)
Now for maximum chance at a "cease and desist" letter, do Sleeping Beauty's castle! 😂 🐭 Seems like a nice palate cleanser game, when you need a break from Superior state politics. 😆
@@CityPlannerPlays I see...many thanks for your reply! I used to work with landscaping software in which only the RAM is the limit...good to know that this game is different from what I thought, I planned to make big landscapes with it, lol.

I’m going to have to look them up!

Another Tiny Glade video! Lets go!
RIP to the 64 version, but yeah, good choice for reference shots.
Mario 64 was my jam back in the day. ❤

@@CityPlannerPlays Would love that and I'm sure everyone else would too. Keep up the good work!
Yay, Tiny Glade! So glad you built this. I actually had this on my list of things to build but hadn't gotten around to it yet.

That night shot was awesome
I was patiently sitting through the castle version discussion waiting for CSP to pick the right version; luckily he did.

Great recreation Phil! Hope this game is a calm liitle break for you from time to time
Absolutely is!
would love to see you build a little city, after all you are city planner plays!
The thing is that you must afraid from Nintendo's lawyers very very afraid 😂😂😂

@@CityPlannerPlaysThey’re going to throw you into a painting and you will be forced to live there for multiple years.
Nooo, it’s art
Nintendo is shameless. Thanks for sharing ❤
oh neat! I am building a castle in Tiny Glade right now and needed some inspiration, this hits the spot
Nintendo IP mentioned, Terminator activated.
I'm going to be humming that closing melody all day long at work now and I'm not even mad. Oh the nostalgia.

I love these tiny glade videos, and its like so chill

I love watching you play these building games. Any plans on doing another Timberborn series with the new update? It's seriously addictive
i would love to have you build a tiny town instead :)
I like how people build cozy things
And there some others guys creating Soviets building or a whole attack on titan town 😂
I made Riverwood from Skyrim. Hoping for some different roof types that better match the hay appearance.
such a cute build! great video 😊
building a village with your own style (no inspiration, just you) would be interesting
It’s so cute! Great job, Phil!
Thank you!!

That's really well done.

This looks amazing!
Looks good!
more tiny glade videos please!
Do Winterfell next!
Damn neeed to get this game, that castle looks siccck

It's so beautiful 😍🥰
it seriously lacks pink
SoTN Castle Dracula too. though that might be a bit complex for this game lol

Can you please make Hogwarts next
...which version?
You know what comes next now don't you?
Need Hogwarts and need Cinderella's castle at WDW. Whever you're ready of course, no rush
More Tiny Nerdy Things for Nintnedos lawyers
I want to play this game so bad!
I can't test the game on my old PC...can you extend the build area indefinitely? (so it's not just a tiny glade in the middle...:-) )
Unfortunately not. Hoping they let you in the future though!

I really like Tiny glades and this video was really nice! shame it has done poorly so it will probably be the last lol
Out of all the people I am the one to suck at tiny glade 😭.
Impossible to suck at this game. Just have to keep tweaking things to make it look good.
I wonder why you can’t make a single foundation as wide as you can. I wonder why there is a size limit 🤔
Not sure, but wish that I could. Same with flattening a roof piece… lots of roofs have that kind of look.
@@CityPlannerPlays Well, you did an amazing job anyways!
Build High Hrothgar from Skyrim in Tiny Glade.
Disappointed you didn't sing the peaches song
That was a miss, haha!
Build Hogwarts Castle
I challenge you to build a Spanish village
Make Hogwarts next
I have no idea who Peaches is to begin with. lol
👍👍👍
Try with Hogwarts castle
pls play satisfactory 😪😔🥴
