I was thinking the same thing! This is what happens in Indian drama. Main hero/heroine dies and they bring a Doppelganger, not necessarily twins but yeah. Although there are cases of miraculous saves so if something wrong happened in the morgue or something and the bodies got exchanged maybe something happened and all these years he was hiding somewhere.

My husband and I love this show. We like when Saun imagines of how he can fix something. Was surprised to hear the accents. This is one of the best shows on now. Hope we get a few more years of it.
The Good Dr is my favorite show and I hope they go for years and years. I absolutely love the cast, I do miss Dr Melendez and Dr Claire Brown though. I love Hill Happer and Christina Chang as well. I can't wait to the next season and when it's over, I can't wait until the next season. Everyone behind the senses do a fantastic job . Thank you so much for making a wonderful show

yess they did, there is an earthquake where Melendez dies but he and Claire also love each other
the reason the director killed him off is cause it would seem weird if everyone survived and they wanted to kill someone who people would care about, and he had a close connection with almost everyone so they thought people would feel bad and would experience loss if he died
