- Kootenay Lake BC - Trolling Bucktail Flies for Rainbow Trout.
Had a blast fishing Kootenay Lake with bucktail flies right on the surface going 3-3.4 mph in 2-4 foot waves.
it wasn't hot fishing but we managed to get 4 strikes and landed 3.
Can't wait to try it again soon.
