The reason I started this channel is to help people catch more fish by sharing my fishing adventures and the tactics I use.
I fish year round and my videos range from icefishing to fly fishing, trolling in $200k boats to kayaks, from small mountain lakes to large reservoirs, small roadside creeks to the Mighty Columbia River.

Caught 9 Rainbow up top trolling spoons, plugs, and hockey sticks, and the big bow down 99 feet on flasher hoochie. The Bulls were caught at 150, 99, and 89 feet on flasher hoochie. We were in third place for half the day Saturday but got bumped into 4th when it was all over.

Lower Arrow Lake Derby - 9 March 2024 Had a blast fishing Lower Arrow Lake with a fun crew. Fishing was super tough all day, but we grinded it out, swapping lures, depths, speeds, techniques, and locations until we finally connected. We only got one bite all day but it was the Right One! We tied for first place with a super healthy 6.61lb Bull Trout caught 200 feet down on the rigger with a plu...

Hand Feeding Brook Trout in Beautiful Ptarmigan Lake Montana
Hey! I grew up in castlegar, That's one of my favorite spots to fish from. I've seen a walleye caught there as well, but mainly rainbows. I've actually never caught a bull trout out of there and neither has my grandpa who lived there. I was talking to some dudes last time I was there and they said they were catching sturgeon there too on shrimp. Crazy to see how the fishing has actually seemed to get better there !
Is that the pondie or the Columbia?
Columbia and Kootenay here in Castlegar are both loaded with walleye
Are you taking Bookings for around Thanksgiving yet LOL???
I'm not a guide yet. Contact my buddy Lon at All In Fishing Adventures here in Castlegar
Right what lake is this
The rivers here in Castlegar are loaded with walleye
I had no idea that we have Walleye in BC.
Loaded
Can't wait for winter
Get rid of your fucking background music
Thanks for uploading. Great video. Aren't they actually bull trout in Kootenay Lake. Not dolly varden... Also the last few years I've caught a lot of pikeminnow with baby fish in their bellies. Been fishing here for 3 years no kokanee caught. Apparently we had a millions 10 years ago and now down to 30k. This year I spoke to the Gerrard trout spawn counters and twice as many spawning as the last few years this spring.
I gave up correcting people years ago, lol. They actually call the Bull Trout derbies Dolly Derbies here.
I netted a kokanee in castlegar about 7 years ago. It was 3 1/2 lbs, fished there my whole life and that was a first for me.
So cool. Thanks for sharing. Are you using the down riggers
Yeah. Ran two downriggers and two lines without
You have no business showing anyone how to fillet a perch. You blatantly wasted 1/3 of the meat. These guys do it right! ua-cam.com/video/zxXKnXzPjXM/v-deo.html
Jigging is 100 times more fun than trolling, but don’t tell anyone.
You need to watch "Split Melt Production", he does a good job locating kokanee. I watched one of his videos today in Caribou, BC, targeted some nice kokanee.
Kinbasket? Just their caught a big bull.
Cant wait to go back there
This is great! I've tried something similar (with no luck) using an Adjusta Bubble bobber a few feet up the line from my fly. How far up the line from the fly are you putting the split shot?
Nice one
Thanks for watching
Where about you at on the Columbia?
nice and inspiring video, Chris! I wish someday I will find a job in Canada near to this lake and visit such a beautiful nature for hiking or fishing. By the way, do you have any tips for finding a job as a mechanic?
do you put them in the frig?
What a waste.
Go Oilers! Lol.
Great work out there boys. Just subscribed to the channel. Keep them videos coming and good luck out there.
VERY NICE
Just found your channel , you were away ahead of the game did you get royalties ??? great channel Chris
What time of year? Great video!
Niiice out on the vedder???
Looks like a hell of good time
It was!
Fun times planning on Woodbury the end of the month, were they hitting buck tails at all.
Not a single fish on hair. Spoons were hot one day for bows but not the rest of the weekend. Plugs were hot the other day for bows. Flasher and Hoochie fur all the Bull Trout
Thanks, fun going through the box finding what works. Thanks for the video's my boat is still iced in, but the melt is on!
Hi Chris thanks again for the video's made it out to Woodbury at the end of last month absolutely amazing fishing while the water temps were 44_45 then they dropped with the bad weather several double headers no more than 20_30 minutes between bites. By my self in the wind I had to go down to one rod meet a older guy on the ferry and took him out a few times that helped with boat control and he caught a bunch of fish i know it changes every day but all but a handful came on the 213 fly. Planning on being back there first week in June anyway thanks again for the video's
Awesome boat. That merc 🔥
I love it! Cant get enough of that start.
Great fishing , nice $90,000 boat , but god awfull music, what a way to ruin the video, too loud .
😂. Was a little of everything played that weekend. Some good tunes some not so good. I think just the motor is 90k
Impressive 😊
Do you want to promote your UA-cam channel? I am waiting for your response.
it was a tie buddy 6.61
Tie for the win!
Hey, Chris. My family and i will be coming up there to fish the Colombia river in a few weeks. We will be dynamite fishing for them, and whatever else floats up. Do you have any secret spots you wouldn't mind sharing?
Anywhere from Trail downstream should be fire!
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
I live in Coulee dam Washington and just found your channel. I have been enjoying it very much. What part of BC do you call home? My wife and I spent a month u there last summer and had a blast. Thanks for the great videos.
Glad you're enjoying them. Castlegar BC
That is a very nice fish there Chris. Have you been Kokannee fishing near the boat launch yet? I was wondering when to give it a go.
I haven't yet but some guys have started catching them. Warm temps in forecast should make them more aggressive Hopefully.
I enjoy watching you Chris, you always catch something and it is not a cold. I can hear the Hwy 3 bridge traffic . Lots of guys go just above Rivervale near the rock in the river, some good catches there this year I am told.
So many good spots to try, and not enough time. Especially from Trail to the border.
I love see line chronies. Can’t wait for spring!
Me too!
@@ChrisKingAngling my b! That ment to say ‘deep lining chronies’ 🤣. Soon my Friend, soon!
Grats on the personal best. Appreciate your respect for the fish and the resource, quickly releasing it. You a great example for the sport. TIGHT LINES
Thank you so much 👍
I caught 4 In the 2-4 pound range yesterday. Also on the 3 way
Sweet!
👎Can't hear. Can;t figure out the most important part.
Message me. I'll clarify
Was a good day fishing with Chris has taught me alot
Awe shucks!
Went fishing yesterday was so warm in a t shirt most of the day
I have fished Rosebud a lot over the years but never ice fished it. About 10 yrs ago My friend and I were hunting white tails there and it was November. On our way out we stopped and talked with 2 biologists from Nelson. They were netting the lake find out the ages of the fish via a bone in their head, The only way to get the bone was to kill the fish. We looked in the tubs they had and those 3 tubs large tubs where full of 4-5 lb rainbows I was shocked as I had never caught any near that size. They wanted big fish for their study, all were caught right off the boat luanch, about 60 to 100 feet out.
I want to try ice fishing
You should! Suggest going with someone who has been before.
I learned to fish on Jewel about 50 years ago, my family had a cabin on the lake. Spent lots of time there on the water, when that got boring it was off to the dump to see the bears. Used to catch good size bows there, haven’t fished it in years now.
Very cool
What about apples 🍎?
Yup. They love apples too.
@@ChrisKingAnglingThats what i feed mines and my leopard gecko loves that they love apples
How about lettuce
