@@BendItFishing I figured there was only one. I haven’t recorded out there yet, but now I’m gonna give it a whirl with your methods. Thanks for the help, man!
I do this a lot still. Or run an egg sinker on the main line to a swivel, and about 3-4ft of leader from the swivel to my lure. I never run downriggers. I hate them.
Use a small rubber band . Attach one end of the rubber band on a swivel attached your dropline. The other end of the rubber is attached to you weight by feeding it through the eye of the weight. Rubber band will break free. Preventing you from losing your whole rig.
Great fish care and release. ❤
If you're not going to eat it, make sure it goes back and survives.
Ty
Great vid. Im thinkin about flying in and doing a guide with you.
That would be great!!! Just New Hampshire guiding right now! Check any Winnipesaukee videos to see how it fishes! This was not filmed in NH
@@BendItFishing i have been watching. Even if its next year, im ok with that.

We're heading up to Frye Island for the first two weeks of July, I'll have to give this a try
Good luck! It's super fun and effective!

Too much work for down riggers
Use a small rubber band . Attach one end of the rubber band on a swivel attached your dropline. The other end of the rubber is attached to you weight by feeding it through the eye of the weight. Rubber band will break free. Preventing you from losing your whole rig.
Good tip! But wouldn't that leave you with a spongey feeling?
How deep were you trolling here?
90 to 100 ft

Only 3 different knots?
You can use just one if you want, you just want different breaking points
“See ya buddy”. Ode to 618.
First! Do you eat Lakers?
I have, but my dog loves them more than I do
Cooked on a grill, they are delicious! But I only eat 22” or less; let the bigger one go.
Why not just use a snap weight?
Slightly move expensive and doesnt allow you to know you height from bottom unless you attach a line to it
👏🙏
