What kept me engaged is you talking about Retsream and Switchboard writing hey guys in the comments :D that was hilarious :D BTW, I am a fan of Restream Chat feature
I just discovered your brand and products today. I represent a very small non-profit org running their live shows to website. I liked your Webcaster X2 product, just to see that it is discontinued. There is no way we could afford the Pearl Mini so i would like to know the possible equivalent products (to Webcaster X2) today that you could recommend.
Thanks for bringing up my question from the live chat, unfortunately I walked away from the screen at the wrong time and missed your talking about it. My issue was a hired venue blocks UA-cam streaming, but allows Facebook and other services. I actually us (and LOVE the Webcaster X2). I wondered if the Cloud re-streaming services might avoid this block, ideally still using Webcaster X2.
Hello, would I be able to connect both Livestream UA-cam & Facebook simultaneously on my mobile phone even if I have under 1000 UA-cam subscribers? Would I also be able to record my live video on my mobile phone or does it need to be done on a desktop/webcam? During the livestream do I get to view both platforms status such as viewers interactions? Any help would be so WONDERFUL as there’s so many options & technicality.
Hi Rose - Multistreaming from a phone is not an easy task, you would need an app that can encode and stream to a service like Restream.io or Switchboard.live. From there you can send multi streams out to Facebook and UA-cam. It is unlikely that such an app would also record locally, that is a lot of work for a phone, they are simply not designed for that. Using a restreaming service would mean you cannot see the viewer interactions directly and since you cannot multi task on a phone you could not have UA-cam, Facebook and the streaming/encoding app open and monitoring at the same time. For a setup like this it would be better to use a standalone hardware encoder, like our Webcaster X2, to run the stream to Switchboard.live and then use your phone to monitor the viewer interactions www.epiphan.com/products/webcaster-x2/
I know you mention Vimeo but what if we are using Livestream Studio? I'm trying to get my content from livestream studio to facebook and youtube at the same time.
Hi Journey Church - good question. I'm not that experienced using Live Stream Studio. Because it's platform specific to Livestream.com (unless that's changed!), re-streaming would likely have to be done by Livestream. Your best bet is to ask Livestream support about that.
Hi Samir - you're probably thinking of the Revsun HDMI switcher. You can check out our forum for Webcaster X2 accessories with all the links here: www.epiphan.com/forum/t/webcaster-x2-accessories/367
Theres any way i can use Xsplit and OBS at the same time with the same capture card? cause i use OBS to Stream on Restrea.io and i want to use Xsplit to stream on my facebook page as well.
Hi Zona Xbox - Unfortunately, only one application can access a capture card at a time. It would also be very hard on the computer to encode in both applications at the same time. Using Restream.io to send a copy to Facebook as well would be the best option.
video is dropping like you are 18fps shooting. same in 720p, 360p and all resolutions. Becouse of your shooting or streaming hardware? Should't have been smooter than this?
HI Emre - Your're right - our stream settings weren't spot on that day. Stuff happens occasionally when you're streaming live. Hope that didn't distract too much from the content. Cheers!
Hi, Thanks so much for this video :) Really helpful I never heard about Vimeo to go live. I am currently trying it but it appears that I must use a software (they recommand LiveStream Studio). In your video, it seems that you could connect without any Software (like in Resteam.io). How did you do ? I'd like to avoid using multiple softwares and I wish I could use only an online service. I look forward to read from you soon ! :)
Hello Emmanuelle - we use our own Pearl all-in-one video production system that records, switches, and stream to multiple destinations. Here is a show that we did a while back that can help answer some questions: ua-cam.com/video/8XwID_iUuDM/v-deo.html

Спасибо за полезное шоу.
Casr.Io Is cheaper and does the same. They also do transcoding (1080 -> 720).
Hi Roberto - I think you meant castr.io/ Thanks for posting that. It's one we hadn't considered. Cheers
