A lot of information! Thank you! I still have question: if you take a pricture of yourself from your cell phone for thumbnails how do you upload do a video? Can I invite a friend do come to my streaming to participate with me as a conversation?
Thanks for watching, Teresinaha! You can email, message, or airdrop (mac only) your picture to your computer in order to use it as a thumbnail. At this time to only way to bring a guest onto your stream (without the use of any third-party tools) is via a mobile phone. If you are streaming to Facebook (or Instagram) from your phone you can bring a guest onto your stream. @@SocialMediaExaminer There is no wand icon when I'm using my computer. It's easy to find on the phone, but I have spent literally hours clicking everywhere I can in Facebook Live Producer on the computer but there is no evidence of a screwdriver/wrench icon.
Very valuable. Just learning how to do this to my GROUP. Is there a way just to invite my group and not public? My group has over 40,000 members. I'd like it to be somewhat exclusive to them to watch. Also, is there a way to have a second presenter. I want to bring in some brands that want to reach my group and I would be hosting them.
Yes, you can go directly to your group! In order to add a guest you need to use a third-party tool like Streamyard, or you can use facebook's own mobile app to add a guest: ua-cam.com/video/y6VLQytt0WU/v-deo.html
just one questions actually. I was told that if I go live in a FB business group I won't see any comments? Is that true? In which case I would rather set up a group in my personal FB profile?
I have a couple of questions. I tried to do a FB Live with Producer and Live Shopping. I wanted to use my iphone camera on a tripod with my ring light as my camera and then have my laptop over to the side in order to be able to read comments and also click feature to pop up the product links as I talked about each product. But, I couldn't get this to work. Is it possible to go live with your phone camera and access the back end of your live via a laptop at the same time? Also, when I watched the replay of my live I don't see any product links. Do these only show during the live and not the replay?
Hi - thank you for the this helpful video. I am a pianist and am using condenser mics and an audio interface. For some reason, the last three times I’ve tried to live-streamed in Facebook, when I play the video back the audio is terrible (fuzzy). I tested my mics before starting the stream. Is there anything I can do to improve the sound quality?
@@BMarPiano Thank you for watching. Does the "fuzzy" audio sound like it is clipping? If so, consider turning down the input volume (turn down the mic levels on the interface). Another possibility is that the interface is not being selected or processed correctly. In that case, you can try digital routing software like Loopback to create virtual input devices that can be selected as your input device in whatever program you are streaming with. Hope that helps! -Mitch

i can do live on phone like that if i want live from pc i need sound from pc ....how to do that ....i dont want to stream somthing withaout sound from what i share like some music program...
Can anyone please tell me why that when using the live producer page to livestream to facebook the organic reach of the post is worse than any other type of media? I get hundreds of comments and likes and shares on the video (from relatively few people) but the post goes nowhere and despite having 36k followers on the page we get on average 15 to 25 live viewers. When we stream from the phone straight to the page it is consistently higher average and the organic reach of the post is way higher. I do not understand why FB, sorry "Meta" would make an algorithm that penalises you for using the very tool they have spent thousands of hours and tons of money creating for the very purpose it was built. So my quandary is do I want to reach more people and have a crap looking and sounding stream which will ultimately impact viewership from lowered quality or do I want to have a good looking and sounding stream using my decent camera and Atem Mini Pro and reach fewer people but hopefully the quality will attract more?
I went live today but couldn't see my audience comments! I was only able to see them after I was done with the live stream, any reason why I couldn't see them? They were posting on real time. It's a bit frustrating as I was asking questions and they were answering but I couldn't see it
