I've just done a livestream sports event with multiple cameras, logos and text overlays. The Stream Deck makes mixing and lining up cues very easy. I like that you can toggle text overlay on and off and each button is a mini video screen. I'm not that computer literate and found it easy to set up all the camera inputs and cues one I watched this video.
Love using our Streamdeck - have keys setup for each camera, powerpoint fwd/back and title overlay toggles. Really helpful. Also managed to script it to trigger presets in the cameras over CGI, which has made it an excellent one-stop shop for controlling our setup.
I love a strawberry flavoured cake (absolutely must be the less-than-natural vibrant red/pink coloring and flavouring) with coconut frosting.

I’m trying to use the vmix shortcuts within the multi action button stream deck configuration. This way I can use the vmix and companion plugin together. When I try to configure the button, the vmix plugin item disappears off the list. Is this something on your end or elgato’s end that is causing this? I use companion to trigger my atem and would like to trigger the vmix overlays or scenes at the same time. Hopefully this makes sense.

Thanks for great video. We are using stream deck for a while but now we realised that if you add thumbnail option for stream deck key, but have the same shortcut in webcontroler, then you have the same preview image as on stream deck on your local network (web controler). If you add the custom script which refresh this image very often you have low quality preview monitor on your local network! Unfortunately I can't find anyone who is doing the same thing and at API site there is also nothing. If you have anyone experience with this and know more about this, please let me know.
Or if you guys from vMix can coment this feature, I would be very glad.

Stream deck with bitfocus companion is really the way to do this. It’s 100x better than using elgatos software.
Hey, I'm new to using both so could you elaborate as to why? I'm currently setting up Vmix with Companion right now. It looks like there are some extra steps doing it with Elgato software.
I wish Webex hadn’t replaced vmix at my organization.. I still love your videos and wish I could do more cool stuff with it
Dear Tim, You need to update this video because to find stream deck store location has being changed.
Is the stream deck only active when vmix is active or if you go over to youtube chat, will things go bugly when you start typing a reply?
How can I save my shortcuts so that they’re active each time I open vmix? I’ve been able to set them up perfectly with the stream deck, however when I close vmix and then open it again for a later stream I find myself having to connect the short cuts all over again. Is there a way to address this? Thanks!
It would be great if you guys would inform the people about all those software updates and what exactly will be new. The link you include while updating the software does not say exactly what the new updates brings. Maybe add dates with changes to the software. Thanks
They do inform us with that green "UPDATE AVAILABLE" at the bottom left. Once you click, there is an option too that tells you what the update includes.

Is it possible to add multiple functions to one key. For example pressing one key would say fade transition to another camera and also bring up a title at the same time and maybe play a quick sound effect ?
Yes, you can set multiple shortcuts to one key. You could also use triggers to activate certain functions.

Please… update the FFmpeg video filters (x264, NVENC etc.) on vMix… also with latest versions, FFmpeg version used is a very old version! 🥺
Good day. Steam deck does not understand the alpha channel at all. Is it possible to make an icon with the vmix activation color display
I have performed all the prescribed steps but will get a yellow triangle with an exclamation point. Not sure what's going on but it's not working. Please advise.

The fact that vmix has a streamdeck plugin and not Atem is wild, but it still sucks because i have a mac and vmix is windows only. OBS is to mondaine

After pressing Find, and pressing the button- Vmix coulndt recognize the input, and i get an Exclamtion mark on my Stream deck. any help?
You'll need to make sure the key has been assigned in the Stream Deck app. Also try restarting vMix. Feel free to send our Support Team an email if that isn't the issue- www.vmix.com/contact-us.aspx

I followed the next steps: added a vmix shortcut in the stream deck (and it was shown on the deck itself), went to the shortcuts, add, press find, press the key - Vmix didn't recognized the input and the deck put an exclamtion mark on the icon on the deck. Could it be variations of versions? or maybe because i used a front pc usb slot and not one on the I/O of the MB
Can you still go through a vmix plugin in Companion?
Yes, that will also work.
Newer than 4.5 versions of streamdeck applications are broken with vMix plugin

Hi, could you try both the contact form and direct email address on the contact page? www.vmix.com/contact-us.aspx. I couldn't find any emails from your name in our tickets or spam, but it may have been filtered before that. You could also try from a different email address, just to cover all bases.
How many times do you repeat "what I am going to show" it annoys to listen your video, hope you will correct it. Also you keep switching you and the device , why don't you keep device on the screen more thank you. Because when you switch we loose the concentration. Thank you.
