Installing a snorkel on your 1st Gen Sequoia

ARB discontinued their specific Safari Snorkel for the 1st gen Sequoia. The only way to get one now is using a snorkel from a 100 series Land Cruiser. Fortunately for us, this Land Cruiser Snorkel is $130 at the time of filming this video. See the link below for the current Amazon price. I have seen is range from $100-150. There are a few different videos on how to install this, so I made sure to mention the problem areas when getting it to fit. Im happy with how it turned out and now I dont have to worry about those puddles at the mall!

I can probably get something together. Both a 1:1 PDF to use as a template and a DXF if someone wants to send to somewhere like SendCutSend. I’ll try to get to that this week, next for sure. Gotta pack for a trip this week 😁

Hey, just a quick question. I’m looking to buy a 1st gen sequoia but all I can find near me is rear wheel drive. I live in Ohio so lots of hills and we get a decent amount of snow. Would you recommend just trying to find a 4x4 or do you think it’s heavy enough to work out in the snow?
