Here’s a link to the specific spot in the installation video that shows you up close. I think these links where I set it to a specific spot in a video only work on desktop. For whatever reason on phones, it still starts at the beginning. So scroll to 11:44 ua-cam.com/video/7icx7vXSse4/v-deo.htmlsi=iMHNqdZBpmBmx4dU&t=709
Did you use the servo saver springs im asking because the uxcell 12mm od, 1.6mm Wire size, 20mm Free Length springs in your amazon store front dont fit around the oval nuts that's why I was asking my first question
Randy u r a genius u have given me a fab idea and I will share it with u soon I think I'm goin to do it to and the idea behind it both ideas come from u coz u r the man when it comes to mods on the trucks 😂😂😂
I think ill be doing this on my Kraton once I finish off the stock body. This is extremely beefy and well thought out 👌💪 thanks for sharing the tip!! Ps. My May Challenge video is up 🤙
Well, technically, any spring is gonna be better than the solid stock set up. I mean, I only recommend the rubber washers because with this set up now you can accommodate for them with the extra space. But I would highly recommend running rubber washers. Even If you could fit them underneath the stock body on the stock composite body posts. You just can’t. I guess what I’m saying is that I’m not suggesting rubber washers because I know this set up (with springs)) has a higher likelihood of breaking through the body. That can happen no matter what. I guess with the 2 inch bolts, because they are higher it can increase the chances. I don’t know..anyway lighter Springs wouldn’t hurt to try. Just gotta make sure they are strong enough to keep the force of the bolt up. Thanks for commenting
Do the oval nuts on your setup fit inside the spring or do they sit on top of the spring?

Yeah, the springs only need to fit around the bolt

Sweet adding it now
This is exactly what im looking for, eveeytime I would launch my Talion and accidentally hit the top of the body my shock standoffs always break
Lighter springs might even save bodies, or at least prevent some of the cracking.
