- Better than Arrma body clips and proline screw caps!
For extreme bashing and capable of handling the heavy duty basherbodies or indestructible body’s!
You can go 2 inch, or 1 1/2”, one utilizes more spring, but stands a little taller and suggest a pad be put in the cap section of the body. Well, the other is more into the stock height. Your call. Ive yet to come close to bending my 2 inch set up. It’s totally tank thus far. But I will report if any changes.
If you choose 2 inch, I recommend some padding in the upper cab so the cage gets utilized.
In either case, I definitely recommend the basherbody. This mod was specifically inspired to accommodate to handle the Basher body. But is also totally great for the stock shell as well.
If planning to just run the stock, thin body with no durability modifications I recommend 1 1/2 inches thumb screws,, and definitely utilizing the rubber washers
the longer 2 inch thumb screws, link below (couldn’t find on Amazon)

Do the oval nuts on your setup fit inside the spring or do they sit on top of the spring?
Here’s a link to the specific spot in the installation video that shows you up close.
I think these links where I set it to a specific spot in a video only work on desktop. For whatever reason on phones, it still starts at the beginning. So scroll to 11:44

Did you use the servo saver springs im asking because the uxcell 12mm od, 1.6mm Wire size, 20mm Free Length springs in your amazon store front dont fit around the oval nuts that's why I was asking my first question
@@M.D._RC
Yeah, the springs only need to fit around the bolt
This is exactly what im looking for, eveeytime I would launch my Talion and accidentally hit the top of the body my shock standoffs always break
Randy u r a genius u have given me a fab idea and I will share it with u soon I think I'm goin to do it to and the idea behind it both ideas come from u coz u r the man when it comes to mods on the trucks 😂😂😂
Nice! Look forward to seeing you do it!
Lighter springs might even save bodies, or at least prevent some of the cracking.
Well, technically, any spring is gonna be better than the solid stock set up. I mean, I only recommend the rubber washers because with this set up now you can accommodate for them with the extra space. But I would highly recommend running rubber washers. Even If you could fit them underneath the stock body on the stock composite body posts. You just can’t.
I guess what I’m saying is that I’m not suggesting rubber washers because I know this set up (with springs)) has a higher likelihood of breaking through the body. That can happen no matter what.
I guess with the 2 inch bolts, because they are higher it can increase the chances. I don’t know..anyway lighter Springs wouldn’t hurt to try. Just gotta make sure they are strong enough to keep the force of the bolt up.
Thanks for commenting
Ya looks like an indestructible set up. 👏🙌🐢
