You can mount the Bashbody with the mounts that have the swivel clip on them. I just remove the clips when I run my Basherbody and with the ProBody RC bodies or stock ones. I can put the clips back on for both of those bodies.
I use the Proline mounts, not as beefy, but same concept. For the same reason, so I could reinforce the body. I’ll never use pins again. Screw mounts are so much easier to get on and off.
Thanks! I can totally see… and would approve of the idea. Of you guys fabricating this, without the need to buy and cut threaded thumb screws, but instead provide the pieces needed. I did a hard bash the other day, landed hard on my roof, and even nose planted straight into a post box pole. The mod took it like a champ… so far so good!! Glad you like💪
I’m curious to see if those bolts will still bend.I’ve been running bolts with nuts on mine for a year probably and they are now bent and have to be cut out of my M2c mounts🤦🏻♂️loving your creativeness Randy👊🏻
Yeah, if mine bend, I’ll switch to 1 1/2 inch version which should help a lot getting rid of a good chunk of leverage. i’m hoping, however, with the springs that instead of bending it will shift downward instead. More likely on a straight roof landing, versus a nose dive. But we’ll see. Thx JP
Body supports between the shock towers? Can you be a little more specific? are you refferring to the zip ties? If so watch the video at the bottom of this comment. I mean this video is all about body supports between the shock towers. So what part specifically are you referencing that perhaps I didn’t explain. I am totally happy to help. Looking forward to your response. ua-cam.com/video/m_dgljiqG0U/v-deo.html
The part that sits up high between the body supports front and rear. Over the batteries and center diff but under the actual body, It looks like an inner roll cage, that is mounted to the body posts/bulk heads, that's the part I'm talking about. Any more specific and I'd already know what the part is and would own it
@@TheOneAndOnlyRandy lol... good point... any more specific you would know the part intimately. I believe your talking about the actual roll cage component itself. which comes as a standard stock part with the arrma kraton. its designed to mount right on top of the cetner diff cover plate with two pins.
@@EastTactics that isn't a stock kraton 8s part, if it was I would have one installed in my kraton, and maybe that other kraton in your video would have one on it too, maybe it's an optional part but I cant find it on the arrma website which is why I asked
@TheOneAndOnlyRandy That’s because mine is a 6s arrma kraton jennysrc.com/products/arrma-kraton-6s-v5-blx-side-guards-battery-tray-roll-tower-wing-mount-ara8608v5?_pos=1&_sid=cbf19426c&_ss=r
I’m digging that idea and does give bashers bodies that tough look.
I’m going to do that setup with the white nylon threaded rod or along those lines.
That actually an ingenious idea 👍…

Looks like a needed mod for sure. Nice work

Good job buddy 👌
Like the acorn nuts. McMaster-Carr has most fasteners.
Nice! I’m loving this setup

What are those body supports between the shock towers? I'd like that for my Kraton 8s, maybe I wouldn't smash new bodies flat the day I get them
