I've managed to see them once. Had to go from Lisbon, Portugal to London in 2012 when they ended their tour before the hiatus. Totally worth it. Haven't been able to go again this year. Sadly.
I can't afford such a jouney as a student. Plus they barely tour in Europe + I don't have a car :/

I have a disabled wife and an autistic son and an autistic daughter who is non verbal. 1st time I heard this song I cried so hard. I just let everything out because I could feel the overwhelming emotion and pain coming through the song. I thought of my 3 immediately and how hard this life is for all of us and I felt the weight of the responsibility of my role as a husband and a father fully for the 1st time.
Stay strong brother, you are given these challenges because you can handle it !!

Thrice for 20 years you’ve been the soundtrack of my life…. All the ups like those unforgettable nights with a chick or just hanging out with the boys…. It’s the down times… when life throws you a curveball, that’s when your music has helped most. Divorce, Death of loved one… Over the years its your music that gives me the strength to continue on this journey.. Continue to be the voice for those who don’t have one… Continue to hold your music in higher regard than money from a major label. I still remember in 2003 every radio station in Cali was trying to make you guys the next “band” instead of making another album like the first three (which are great) you blow us away with a sound all would eventually become envious of…. Thank u again.

They've really rounded into form as their career has progressed. Absolutely love this track and everything about it from the lyrics, the tones, the 'big chorus.' Great track I listen to usually 6 or 7 times in a row.

I heard Hurricane for the first time a couple years back. I really enjoyed it, but I hadn't really paid attention to the lyrics. This year, I found this version. I'm not in as good a place as I was the first time I heard it, and I really heard it this time. Hits like a ton of bricks, man. What an amazing live performance. I'm looking up tour dates

Can't keep from wondering why nothing good can stay. Me in my life, always missing things before they're even gone. Can't shake it, have tried all my life. The emotion in his voice, from every sound he sings stirs things in every person, it's a force of nature.
It's been a year or so since I listened to Thrice, but I've been actually tearing up and buckling under the weight of their music. If you get it, you get it. This band was special, and I'm not sure something will ever speak to me like they did. Literally my life, in musical form.

Thrice has been a band for a long while. Artist in the Ambulace? I wonder how many people have discovered them, by just finding out this song. I also wonder how many newbies just know this one song after only listening to them once, with a small speckle out of your earhole. I commend you, but yall arent listening to the beans. I saw this band a few years ago with Dance Gavin Dance and Balance and Composure. I had listened to them a little bit in High School but wow. Seeing then live was such an experience. One of the best bands I’ve ever seen live

I was at the show in Houston not long after Hurrican Harvey hit. Even though the lyrics don't mean anything related to actual hurricanes, I remember seeing tears in the crowd followed by absolute joy. That's what Thrice gives you. All the emotions.

So Joey Green, Vocals and rhythm guitar, Married his dream girl and made his house look like Disney land. Alby “Blackfire” Dubois Drums still a awesome friend still plays Drums and lives in South Florida, Brian Wilpon Bassist I was told (Married My Ex Girlfriend and quit so Joey could could still fight for his dreams, Adam Stein (Me)Lead Guitar and horrible backing vocals Wrote this as his First song in the band. We all had creative differences. I was a Emo Post hardcore punk junkie. I was drinking, drugging, cutting, and playing shows almost every other day with the Band until shit hit the fan. The Band was started by Joey and Brian after being sick of playing Ska in the band Moxie. I was recruited and suggested Blackfire. When it hit the fan Blackfire was Kicked Out so I left too. We played with Sum 41, Non point, Dashboard Confessional (before Chris called it that in the band vacant Andy’s), the Agency (Chris Carrabas band mates after he stopped being solo) the Ex feds, Midtown, New found Glory, Hot water Music and Bouncing Souls, poison the well (SO, I then Started a Band With Michael Orlando of the local punk bank Used Good and OTHER PEOPLE KNOW HIM AS MICHAEL VAMPIRE FROM VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE! He was My Bassist and screamer Played 2 warped tours in a Band called Set Trigger, Mind You getting fame quick, Our Singer Jack Powell of Madelyn Sang, and sadly (MICHAEL VAMPIRE ORLANDO) and Drummer Nick Bartolo were hit By drunk driver that spattered him self, causing Mikes teeth to go thru his chin, and Nick Breaking his spine. Michael, a person I called a Brother and best friend left everyone! We have tattoos together even, he Left Nick but he could never fully recover and hindered his success, stole My EPs ( though I wrote all the Music) and tried hiring other guitarist because I was drinking and falling further in My addiction, left Me and stole all My rights. He failed trying to do it without Me however sold his soul to the Devil and Illuminati. Mark My words they will Blow up, but he is the fakest Dude You could ever Fathom. Check em out, and also look at the 20 or something band Member he killed for corporate gain and massive fame. I could tell You worse but I’m not that cold hearted, though those EPs should Be released especially if You Like this Song that I wrote about the only way to avoid suicide and destruction.
