It was wrong to expect the chef to do something that's a specialized skill. Either hire a trained hibachi chef or send them to shore where one has a restaurant. Totally wrong to subject a yacht chef to demands she's not comfortable making.
The guests do this kind of stuff all the time.
Not hibachi, Teppanyaki needs a trained chef. Hibachi is a stove, gas would be preferred since a charcoal stove might set off the fire alarms.
Bring someone on to do it
Why would you ask a chef to do hibachi unless you know they’re trained? The ultimate arrogance is rich people going to restaurants and acting like ceo.

Jason has done a good job of handling Tsarina's self-doubt this season. BUT he is wrong this time! My mum used to make and flame a plum pudding every xmas since the early '70's. For the past decade, I've done it (sucessfully) but she spent 5xmas' training me. Looks easy.. it's not. And teppanyaki is waaay extra! Now, this is benihana lite (at least Bravo provided a windscreen, so that singed orange dress didn't become a burnt orange heresy!) But I wish Tsarina told the guests, "And now! To light the onion volcano, with his hand, please welcome Cpt. Jason in his budgie smugglers!"😂
her lighting the "volcane" made me flinch , the alcohol container is SO CLOSE and shes pouring while the lighter is lit.. WOW!
I hope Cap is around to put out a fire, especially if guests dress catches.

Its so dangerous having someone whos not trained in this doing it, she could burn herself and set herself on fire if something goes wrong, she could flick hot food at someone else and burn them, etc, like its such a hazard and its not something shes trained in. Why not hire a chef trained in it just for this dinner and get them on the boat???
I will say I do at least appreciate that the guests weren't rude about it being her first time cooking this way and they were trying to engage and make her feel better about it. If they were going to be ignorant about a chef not knowing this style of cooking, I'm glad they weren't rude also.

Jamie thinks she's a princess. She comes in, steals Culver even though she KNOWS he's messing around with the chef.....then gets him and as soon as another guy shows up....now she wants HIM and Culver is a loser. She has a hissie fit because the other girl wants to work service.....like get over yourself. You can't just get everything you want all the time and then cry like a baby when you don't 🙄

You absolutely can. Most irons have steam functions. She shouldn’t have touched the fabric with the surface of the iron.
I've had a steamer and its the best! When I saw the iron I knew the dress was going to be burnt.

Ehh he’s was super good last season but he irritanted me season 2 compared to last season. Didn’t agree with dismissal of Adam and he’s wrong here with Tsarrina and the Hibatchi as that’s a Trained skill not a UA-cam tutorial kind of thing. As someone. Said above its not good leadership in that sense even if yes he puts safety first but at times to a fault as we’ve seen
@@obibraxton2232 Adam shot himself in the foot from the get go. He went on and on about how much safety was important to him and then he goes and drops the anchor while the boat is still moving. Do you know how much damage ($$$$) that could have caused? Not only to the boat but to the guests. It could have been a whiplash effect on a whole boat and everything inside. Not to mention the risk of lawsuits from guests and the owner of the boat.
At the end of the day, the captain is there to drive the boat and also ensure everyone is safe. He has a responsibility towards the owner as well. Not to just make tv. One fired deckhand is a piss in the ocean compared to what could have happened.
I don’t agree with Aesha putting Margot on service instead of Jamie which is part of her job when Margot can’t even do decor not a good look

Ok let’s say you are a home builder, building traditional homes. Then a customer calls you and says Idd like you to build a log chalet. Yah it a home but all your skills, connections and training is else where not in log builds. Capt needs to put a sock in it. He’s a nice guy on one hand and an I…. On the other hand. I just hate him.
I will say Jason handled this well, he was confident in her work and just tried to encourage her. I can see dedication to the people who he knows are good at what they do!

Some of the comments saying rich people are entitled, if they have to split yacht charter price & get below deck discount for the limited 2-day charter instead of paying full price for the usual whole-week charter, they're not that rich. He’s an ok captain. I loved cpt Lee and cpt Glenn is also a really good captain and supportive of his crew.
He didn't _want_ to, but he did it anyway, the next night. He also allowed himself and the other male crew members to be sexualised by wearing budgie smugglers. Much more uncomfortable than tossing a few shrimp around. You knew Tzarina wouldn't mess up the actual food. For a $20k tip on a $100k charter, just toss them prawns around, girl.

Last season I felt sorry for Culver but this season he’s a lazy git & a tad creepy too.
He’s like 5 ft tall, not smart, not good at his job, cheap date and spends all of his spare time in the gym taking selfies. He’s not going to age well. He better come up with a backup plan quick.

I do like Captain Jason, but I’ve strongly disagreed him twice on this charter season once was getting rid of Adam. I’m still mad at him for that I don’t care and I definitely disagree with this request cause you need to be trained in the area so Tsarina was right to feel a way even if she isn’t my favourite member of the crew gotta keep it real she deserved better and more support from captain. There’s rich arrogant guest be wanting too much if they got it like cash wise why not hire a trained hibachi chef to come on the yacht for their charter ?
Why is everyone saying hibachi? That would be the easiest for the chef to prepare. All she has to do is cut the meat and shell and clean the shrimp. The RAW ingredients would be placed on the table for the guests to cook.

I know Aesha is cute and I really like her but I cannot be the only one who finds her mimics and reactions very infantile and too much at times. The way she reacts with all those "ooooh" "ahhhh" doesn't match situation sometimes. Really nice girl but I would be so tired around her

I really do like capt. Jason, but miss the dignity and low-key presence of Capt. Lee. I think Bravo made a mistake in replacing him. Eye candy is one thing - but have a little dignity, man. Margot always looks drunk to me. And they really must be hiring based on the luxe because of the real world these people would not get higher in any of the fine restaurants on Palm Beach. There are certain rules in five star service. And they are breaking all of them. You never serve the man first. Always the woman. No chewing gum while in uniform. Serve on the left, clear on the right.. just the basic shit these people don’t even know how to do it. Supposedly, they have to go to a training school to even get hired to work on boats.

They’ve talked extensively about how skittish she is about getting hurt and obviously he knows that the situation with her close friend (and Aesha) has only added to her doubts (seriously the things he said to Aesha were *AWFUL* ). He hasn’t given her the time to figure her feelings out, which really sucks because I genuinely think they could’ve had something *really* great. She wouldn’t be so terrified of him faking the change if she didn’t already have some serious feelings for him.

@@V8fanETHANKELLY i watched it and it was good until i stopped at the episode with maggort and luke if you know you know that was hard to watch so i stopped watching the rest of the season it kind of came dark after that episode and i understand that like do happen at work and should be taken seriously but personally for me i couldn't watch after that episode it was too much

It's become annoying how the cast performs for the camera. Not just with the producers, narrating but also during the charters. They start acting more animated, forced laughter, more talking to themselves. It's just feels fake and forced when that happens. It's the same with GBBO. The bakers love the camera when they used to feel shy around them. Now most of them can't shut up. I wish everyone would stop looking for their moment and just be natural.
