- AESHA SCOTT:
Aesha is one of the stars of the Bravo show “Below Deck.” Some of you will be massive fans of the woman crowned NZ TV personality of the year. But I guess some of you would have no idea who she is.
Either way, you are in for a treat! I’ve done over 100 podcast episodes so far and this might be the wildest episode yet. This true-blue kiwi chick is amazing- relentlessly positive and just naturally likeable and hilarious. But also, so authentic.
I think this may be Aesha Scott as you have never heard before- she was so open, raw and vulnerable about a lot of really tough life events.
We chat about her mum’s battle with alcohol and this impact that had for Aesha as a young girl.
Reflections on her parents’ divorce.
Losing her older brother to a brain tumor.
Her recent therapy journey.
Her ADHD diagnosis as a kid.
How she landed a role on one of the world’s biggest reality TV shows and so much more.
Thanks so much to my incredible sponsors: Radix and Generate. Please support the legends who support the podcast.

I was a huge fan of Radix even before they became sponsors. I start every day with a shake made with their protein powder. And in the past year, their freeze dried meals have become a staple in my diet. You truly have to try them for yourself to understand how epic they are in terms of taste, how filling they are, how good they are for you and how easy they are.

I read a story last week that a lot of us could be missing out on $312,000 just by ignoring your Kiwisaver. Love Aesha! Thank goodness, that we have her in this world! Don't change a thing, about yourself!
I love Aesha so much, as a fellow kiwi I absolutely adore her and her personality. She is so sweet and bubbly, I have been rewatching below deck med and below deck down under just because of her, her energy is amazing. Such a beautiful soul 🔥🫶🩷
Aesha is hands down my most favorite person I've ever seen on Below Deck! I think we would get along sooooo well because we have similar senses of humor. She is the most down to earth and real authentic person ever!
I adore this wonderful woman, she’s the funniest, kindest most likeable person on any bravo show
An absolutely delightful human being
I love Aesha-somehow she manages to be both the most entertaining AND emotionally intelligent person ever. And great job with the interview…I never knew all of this backstory, but she totally opened up for a fellow Kiwi.
Absolutely LOVE this interview. She's a wee gem!

OMG I love Aesha! She is such a delight, great interview Dom! Also, don't watch this before going to a work meeting, I was sobbing at the stories of her earlier life...
I have followed Aesha on Instagram ever since her first season on Below Deck in 2019. Even before she started dating Scott. It was sweet to see the way their friendship grew. My brother in law is a kiwi though they live in the States now but for a time they lived in Mt. Maunganui. I especially love how real and authentic Aesha is. Great podcast. I learned more about her childhood that I never knew.
Shes such a strong girl! ❤️
I'm a 69 year old British woman who connects completely with Aisha and I also don't have a very good filter 😂. Long May she reign, along with Kate they are below deck royalty ❤

Yes, it’s kind of weird and overly casual and disrespectful to his guest
I recognize so many things in terms of abusive childhood, depressed family while at the same time havind weird optimism wired in your brain 😂😂😂
So this needs to be said since no one wants to ever say anything bad about her, she's extremely unprofessional and crosses boundaries with guests and her own co workers, I can't believe no one is mentioning her grabbing the crotch of the female deck hand on season 9, the girl didn't react, probably because she was caught off guard and because it's Aesha, but the fact Aesha literally put her hand all the way on this deck hands crotch, and grabbed it, she should have been fired, you never touch anyone like that no matter if you're joking around or not, it's insane that it was never even addressed
the police should have got involved in the attempted assault
I thought Padraig Harrington was Irish?
After watching season 4 of Below deck Med, I can't even describe how much Aesha reaction to Travis Hitting Anastasia disappointed me. I think her justification was despicable, she doesn't get to decide Travis is a good guy just because that was her experience, after he assaulted her friend. Her defending him and his behaviour created a situation where he was never held accountable, which harms both him and Anastasia. And she doubled down on her statements on WWHL and the after-show, so she truly believes this bull. Furthermore she villainized Joao for stepping in to defend Anastasia because she personally didn't like Joao, this is textbook narcissism.
If strength was a person it would be Aesha 🥹
