It's really astounding how few people grasp that Senua has a psychosis. That is no ASMR whispering, that is clearly some form of schizophrenia or other mental disorder. There is a reason why a mental health advisor was one of the, if not THE, first credit in the opening scene. This is going to be heavily story driven and not some (mindless) shooter or action flick.

That's what is going to separate this game from any game I've played. It's a beautiful game with a deep story. Love the fact the developers brought in psych drs to do their best to replicate psychosis. Gonna download this game today n get lost in both Senua's mind and world.

This game drove me nuts, but in a good way.

This is an incredible game meant for intelligent and emotionally mature people...complete opposite of most mindless games (Witcher 3 comes to mind). Senua's Sacrifice is a welcomed breath of fresh, mesmerizing air.

The beginning is a story. It's not meant to be "exciting" - especially not in a way that you seem to be looking for.

You got a certain amount of lives,so if you die too often,you'll lose your data. I'd recommend you to just copy your files then.

I wish Ninja Theory had more budget and made this game open world. With the Norse story / mythology setting and combat, it could have been epic. Together with crafting + weapon skills + RPG skills upgrades !
Okay people if we wanna bust out norse mythology again at least get the runes right. NO DOUBLE RUNES! Runes are used phonetically and not literally to translate words ffs. "look in the mirror" for example would be spelled as "luk in th miror"

This game has no challenge what so ever, it's more a movie than a game. You get almost the same experience if you just watch a play through on UA-cam. Bad, it could have been so much more ☹️

I thought so as well then I went and watched the same start with someone that was capturing the proper stereo/ binaural sound so that I heard it properly and it made all the difference. It went from annoying to motivating.
My ASMR got triggered when they were whispering.

What's wrong with it being digital? If you're watching and commenting on UA-cam videos, then you obviously have the internet. Do you have a PlayStation 4 or PC? If so, you can get it on either one. What's the problem?

edit: this game is a masterpiece, it's probably going to be a classic in the future. the story is probably one of the best I've ever experienced in my life. it can even be taught in colleges because there's so much to analyse, the game covers an array of subjects namely, mental health, the concept of reality, religion, existentialism. we live in an era where games as shallow as overwatch are met with critical acclaim. this game, however, shows that gaming is and will be the definitive medium for storytelling. we can;t let this game be a footnote in gaming history like we left spec ops: the line (another amazing story told amazingly), this game deserves to be celebrated.

I recommend that you watch a video with the proper stereo sound. You may still find it boring and unappealing but it did make a difference for me. I watched this video and thought "I can't take that yapping all the time" then I heard it more properly and was entirely of a different opinion. JS.

im fine with that aslong as they are good games lol. this is a waste of development. no one will remember this game. it has nothing going for it but graphics and in todays gaming age graphics are not enough to stand the test of time.
