- The last week of Xbox news has been very slow. It would seem that the Xbox team is keeping it cool as we head toward their show on June 9th. Today we'll take a look at what they've revealed, and what we've seen from PlayStation in the last few days.

Destin out of any body from IGN is legit. He comes off as a genuinely good person and his opinions are solid. You don’t need to agree with him but know he’s a good dude.
I legit had a dream I was hanging with him and Ryan mcaffrey the other day and was telling them great job on unlocked and that Destin’s solo work is amazing

People just don't have money. PS4 has recieved most all games and aside from that if you upgrade your PC you can get the rest of them. It's also why there are more Gamepass subscriptions than Xbox Series console sold. The market has shifted. You can't judge success by console sales anymore.

I would suggest filtering your comments by user age and prohibiting users younger than, say 15-16, from commenting.
There will definitely be PC players who get a console for Grand Theft Auto 6.
There will be some, but the numbers won’t be huge, most PC gamers would rather just wait then own a console to just buy one game for it ever lol the game will be in a much better state anyways by the time it heads to PC. Expect a lot of issues and bugs when a first releases on console. Then you won’t be disappointed
I think Sony is going to be disappointed with the sales of their games on PC in general, and stacking extra costs of development for it (especially so long after initial dev cycle) and marketing won't meet their profit expectations. Stuff like PSN requirement won't help their sales either. So if that does transpire I wonder how long it will take for a significant change in their PC approach. A lot of Sony fans will put up with a lot but PC people are a tougher crowd, putting up barriers to buying their games just doesn't make sense you me, but hey I didn't pitch a third of my presentation on Concorde like these geniuses.

Ive played destiny since the first beta. Im going to miss destiny 2 a lot. I dont know what game can fill that spot for me.
Destiny could have been the greatest game of all time if they had just enabled open world PVP.

Destany is terrible. They tore the game down. They deleted most of it. You can’t even play half the game anymore. I don’t even know why anybody bothers anymore and after this expansion pack they’re already saying they’re going to be doing it again they’re gonna be deleting even more again, so everybody really needs to stop playing that game. Stop that game, they need to make completely separate games instead of freaking keep deleting games. You can’t even play the whole entire story mode anymore. If you’re a new person to the game it’s pretty much pointless and what you’re gonna spend for 500 bucks just to play that game that’s not even all there anymore don’t bother
I think a lot of folks, myself included, are just tired of the trend chasing. The first words out of my mouth after watching the Concord trailer were "Guardians of The Fallacy".
It doesn't help that a lot of people are also tired of the marvel writing.
If Concord was free to play like every other FPS as a service game people would be a lot more charitable. Paying money for a multiplayer only game in 2024? Hell NO!
I only have gamepass core. No blops 6 for me😢
Buy a year subscription of core and redeem it then buy one month of ultimate and convert that year of core into 8 months of ultimate. It comes out to around $8/month or so
I've been playing for 18 months on ultimate just getting MS points from the Bing app and challenges on Xbox games. I'm currently at two months prepaid by this and about 5 more months worth of points sitting in my account. I actually get less points for being in Canada, so it's a little easier in the US. You can find tips for this on UA-cam, and the Bing stuff I just do on coffee break or watching TV. It's not really worth my time per se, but I feel like I'm getting one over on the man.
It's a shame you don't like VR, those two VR games you skipped looked better than a lot of the stuff in that showcase aside Astrobot. I agree about Concord though, it looks fine to me. If I were into Valorant or Overwatch or Destiny I'd be interested for sure.
The vr games look decent, but as a person doesn’t care for vr I wouldn’t watch the trailers again.

i think destin needs to learn the meaning of insanity in order to learn why there is Concord hate. but if concord is sucessful somehow, hopefully sony has a budget to make games people actually are asking for
Because concord genuinely looks like a$$. I personally think ones insane to think the game looks any good at all. Had it been an Xbox game,the one brand Sony fans would absolutely say the game looks like a masterpiece. It looks like a Guardians of the galaxy ripoff but made by much worse developers.
IDC how big of a Sony shill you might be...concord looks extremely bad. Id rather play Redfall because at least that is it's own game...concord is definitely a copy paste clone. Sony stopped being innovative with games... instead they're making dumb hardware gimmicks that they don't even support
If concord is like destiny why not just play destiny then. It looks like overwatch, so why not play overwatch. I think I’m missing what sets it apart.
Absolutely no PC players are buying a whole inferior system to play sequels. We are waiting. We don't care that much about PlayStation games.
The fact that Starfield alone has a higher peak concurrent player count on Steam than EVERY peak concurrent player count from every game Playstation has ever released on PC combined confirms this.

@@heroicgangster9981 I do not like such comparisons per se. Since street fighter is not like tekken and tekken not like virtua fighter to me AT ALL. So starfield is VERY different from fallout 4. Also gran turismo is very different from forza. Also mario is very different from sonic. But yeah it has similarities of course. I get what you mean. And they cut its soul in pieces through incoherence of the world and jumping around and loading screens, yes. i think that they will lose more pepole on console with this strategy, yes some will maybe buy a console to play a sequel day one, but a lot more pepole will now stop buying a ps because they will be able to play on their pc, when before they had to buy a ps to play exclusive

Until Dawn is day and date on PC. I get that It's remake but the last of us remake came to PC like a year later.
Also most PC gamers are not going to switch to PlayStation, if they was going to switch they would have already done it with a PS4.

Everybody that I know on PC is not getting a PS5 pro for one game most PC gamers will not buy a pro for one game especially seeing how it's supposed to be 30 FPS even on the pro.

They don’t care about converting pc gamers to PlayStation gamers. They care about making more money without losing their existing base. If they can do day and date releases they will. Same thing with Xbox and their multiplatform strategy.
To many young kids playing the PS4. That don’t have the funds or the means to upgrade. You can bet they all would if they could. Since the PS5 plays PS4, there is no reason to not upgrade unless you can’t afford it.

Being honest Destin…I genuinely like just about everything you do EXCEPT for your Destiny coverage. Your opinions have tendencies to be misinformed (sometimes) and they’re against the grain of the majority of the harder core of the D2 community.
Take the Eramis thing as an example…it seems you want some in game cut scene on her closure as a character…but most of us don’t care. A lore entry is totally fine for that because even if we don’t catch it in game, we will likely watch a byf video. The reason that’s ok for the majority of the community is because we know Destiny is not really the “cutscene” type of game of the past. Personally I prefer they limit the cutscenes to just everything that happens between the witness and his intentions/actions and maybe allude to his motivations. Eramis was an extension of the witness. Most of us know that. She was manipulated and played her part as a pawn for him.
In a broader sense…sometimes I feel like your expectations for D2 are still at pre D1 launch levels. Granted…the vanilla story wasn’t so great in game, but even you know the story has since massively improved even if it hasn’t all been spoon fed to us on screen. It’s way too deep for that. I’d rather them focus on gameplay than exposition. Sorry for the tirade. Not trying to be rude.

TBH the show wasnt that great xboxs second half looks very dry MHW is a multiplatform and that was the highlight for me never cared for MH rise just didnt stick with me but the creators of the first MHW was so good so im excited were finally seeing another MHW. astrobot looks like cute fun game everything else wasnt that good. concord doesnt look bad at all but Marvel Rivals will overshadow it. concords timing is just bad i see it failing.

@@pittaman You’re right, Doom doesn’t need co-op. But it would be a better game overall for it as I’d imagine it would be an additional feature that wouldn’t impact the single player campaign.
Destin is definitely super bias. & his opinion on xb owned IPs & movers made by MS/ XB is always more positive than his takes on PS owned IP or the moves they make. His integrity is always in question when it comes to things he says. This is why it's hard to watch some of his videos. There's certain other xb centric personalities I can watch because they don't come off with the 100% fanboy at 100%of ther time. & whaaat makes it worst, is that he's supposed to be a journalist. Honestly, Concord is the most generic, boring and uninspired gameplay I've seen in a long time.
The Sony state of Play was complete trash. Concord makes Redfall look great... because at least redfall was its own game and not a guardians of the galaxy simulator.

Jan through Oct counts as 2024 A LOT MORE than November and December 😂! If you didn't do anything, not even a concrete release date, in Jan through Oct, then you really didn't have an incredible 2024, you're stalling for 2025!
Maybe even 2026 😂! Some of these big releases could be stalled until Nov-Dec 2025, with repeated press releases, Jan through Oct, of the incredible 2025 😂!

1. dollar for dollar, Destiny is the single worst game ever made. It has no story, it has no point, it's just a grindy piece of trash.

4. I couldn't care less about Call of Duty, but since it's on Gamepass, I will try it. Not looking forward to making the space on my Xbox to download the whole thing though.

Oh, thought I would keep this separate. Sony games have some of the highest completion rates in gaming. So to say no one enjoys them just shows how out of touch with gaming you are more than anything else.

PS4 doesnt even get games anymore. Its not dominating its slowly dying. 20.8 million PS5s sold last year, now at 59.3 million total. By xmas itll be 80 million, and 100 million next year & PS4 players will be a small minority of maybe 20 million
