Found one in a Goodwill store last week for $4.95 (I felt like I'd found buried treasure)! It is a nightlight for my kitchen as well.. Love it! 💙 Love it! 💙 Love it! 💙
Thank you very much for your review. I can relate to how you received your rain mate IL..I helped my nephew & his family move recently, & they gave me one of theirs, because they really hadn’t used it. They have nice things & take good care of them, so it was/is like new. I had no idea really what its function was, who made it, or the advantages of owning/using it in my home. You answered pretty much all those questions in a clear & concise manner, and I really appreciate that. Thanks again, and God bless you & your family, as well as your channel.
I love mine too! It's officially lasted me longer than any diffuser I have. I LOVE the smell of an essential oil aroma in my house, it's just incredibly soothing and it truly can change your mood!
I also have one . We got for FREE We haven't tried it yet but i can't wait. I love that it's like rain. It will help me sleep. And the light is great. And I love that it smells. 🌺🌿 P.S. mine has a fake fish in it. 😆
I got one on Ebay, and I love it for the same reasons that you do. Thanks for the review. What is the music you are using at the end. I tried Shazam and couldn't find it..thanks
I appreciate your comment 🙂 I actually don't know the music though anymore. They used to provide it on power director (the app I use to edit my videos), but recently, they removed a bunch of that music and added new songs 😭.
Honestly, for me it depends on the oil I'm using. Some of the oils don't put out a lot of scent to me. I have an sweet orange essential oil and I have to use about 15 drops of it to smell it. Have you tried the scents that are made for the rainmate?? Those smell amazing, you should try it if essential oils aren't doing it for you.
It's been a while since I've used the ones that came with it, but I remember thinking they smelled amazing, so I think it's worth a try. Heres a link to the page that talks about the scents available rainbowsystem.com/products/fragrances/ They are available on Amazon, but I looked at the reviews and people were saying they were fake or a knockoff, so I wouldn't buy it there
Hey, my godfather used to work for the rainbow company. You are NOT supposed to use any other essential oils with this because they aren't water based. the Fragrances that come with it are water based and they won't mess up your machine.
@@Ana-tz8ff I've been doing it for a year and my machine is fine as long as I clean it properly. Plenty of websites, and my moms rainbow representative said it was ok, but they'd prefer we use rainbow scents. The reason is because essential oils are thicker. As long as you clean your machine (including the part that sprays the water) you should avoid essential oil build up and be ok. Thank you for your comment, because I did not mention that in my video.
Yeah, I think that's what they were going for. To be honest though, I didn't notice a difference in my air. I mainly love it for the smell and the soothing water sloshing noise 🙂 Some people with allergies said they DID notice a difference though!
Actually yes, it does seem to leave a residue line. It took over a year of use for this to happen to mine and I regularly cleaned it. Thanks for your comment!
Thanks for the comment! It does matter. There's a "max fill line". I think it could damage the machine if it goes past that. If not enough water is put in there, it won't hurt the machine, but it can't disperse the scent as well or clean the air because it's not mixing around the water as much.
Correction u are not obligated to buy their vacuum cleaner to get this air purifier for free i just got one for free yesterday and didnt have to buy the vacuum cleaner
This rainmate is designed for a smaller room like a bedroom or office with a door not designed for a larger space. You will see better results. The larger one is designed for 2500 sq ft
I got this unit when a family member suckered us into" Helping" her out. Put us into a high pressure sales tactic to sell The Rainbow vacuum. We got this cool little air purifier for free. So at least that was nice. But, It doesn't work at all. My husband just cooked lobster a couple hours ago for dinner. I hate the smell that lingers. I put the air purifier in the kitchen 2 hours ago. I used lemon oil in it. It still smells mostly like lobster with a hint of lemon. 2 hours. Its not even worth Free. Avoid these products. They seem good but they aren't.
I got one for free. It felt like a total scam. Looking clean and fresh is definitely not the same as cleaning and freshening. After a week of fooling myself, I had a great time killing the device. Hearing the little engine scream while smelling the burning wires was such a satisfying experience. I highly recommend it.
These are kind of a con job. They sound great look cool but they don't humidify. Nothing goes back into the air.... Except for evaporation. You can run it all night in a while it doesn't go anywhere. As opposed to a regular humidifier where the water goes directly into the air. This is more of a visual and audio gimmick.
It’s not a gimmick, and it does humidify. It helped us get through COVID by dispersing eucalyptus oil vapor into the air to help our breathing. If you put it in a room, shut the door and go back in an hour, you will feel the difference.
It’s not really designed to humidity the air. It does naturally by water evaporation. But it’s real design is to help purify (not humidify) the air. The point is to collect and trap microscopic particles like mold spores bacteria and viruses, smoke particles, and other fine fine pollutants. Stuff the naked eye typically can’t see aside from smoke maybe. The benefit is adding oil for scent, and the slow evaporation of water help the home to Maintain a consistent humid level not make drastic changes. You’ll notice the humidifying effect more in the winter when the heaters are running and fire places which do severely dry the air which is why everyone gets stuffy. But in the spring summer months it’s not as noticeable. Unless you live somewhere super dry like New Mexico or Arizona lol. But yes the point of these is more geared for purification not humidification.
@@garrettdodson6110 No actually what it's designed to do is be incentive for you to buy the bigger vacuum. The sales person is given certain ones for sometimes free but usually for a set price and they usually if they get a sale make out for what they paid for the small rainmate. It's just a Water agitator with a small sure pump on it... Very small. It's a decent white noice machine with a night light but that's about it.
@@LetsTubetalk I have to disagree. I have one and not once was it ever mentioned to me as a humidifier. Definitely more purifier for sure and on that end, I think it does everything it’s supposed to do. I regularly use the eucalyptus at night & especially when little ones have a cold
@@EazyE864 about to say I was told and I keep on hearing that if you have it out it takes everything from the air and ends up because I'm yucky and muddy.... I read nothing like crazy and yet nothing happened except for lower of the water due to evaporation never have a received anything related to looking unhealthy in the water just agitated. That's when I looked at what it was made out of and looked at the pump and look what it was doing and in no way does that qualify as a purifier. It's an air pump that blows air into water, which agitates oils that you might put in it to make it smell better. That's why best we have a fragrance enhancer I guess. Are you telling me you've emptied this and it's been muddy full of crap from the air?
I agree with this. It doesn't "purify" like an air purifier would, but I notice dirty water after a day, so it must be pulling some dirt out of the air. I also agree with Hector though, if you need something for allergies, I'd definitely get an actual air purifier.
They do work, you just don’t understand what they do. It’s not filtering your air, like an air purifier would, it’s putting scent and vapor into the air. If you use their antiseptic, it disperses it into the air and kills bacteria and germs. It’s certified. The rest of the time, it’s meant to scent the air, which it does, as well as moderately be a humidifier. But not a humidifier that sprays a stream of steam or mist into the air that’s visible ( which those kinds have been guilty of causing mold and mildew to grow because it’s too wet).
@@deandraaguilar9112 Right, I just saw them on Ebay $87, new sealed in packaging. Not sure who's selling those for that price, but I saved the listing. So does this device also function as a coo mist humidifier? My guess is no, I didn't see any type of mist emitting from it

$160 from rainbow and they giving them away for free if you let them do a 90min demonstration of the large rainmate with the vacuum attachments exc.

How do you get the water to spin around?
It should spin as long as the water is up to the fill line and it is turned on. If it's not spinning, something is probably not working properly.
Turn it on lol
