I'm happy that I came across this review. I was about to buy the TP7C, on sale at Costco for $399. Thanks.
I was about to do the same thing 😂
I was about to buy the TP10, on sale at Target for $299 lol.
Totally agree with your ‘not recommended’ rating. I had to return 3 units until I got one that didn’t make any noise. Now #4 is also developing that high pitch noise you speak of. I expected a much better experience from Dyson.
I have a first gen dyson pure cool link for at least 4 years and no noise issues at all.
Thanks! All the reviewers spew what Dyson write about its own products, as if they were multiple infomercials.
Just by reporting the noise you are truly benefiting potential buyers like me. Some may not care, but I am extremely sensitive to those ungodly noises. I truly appreciate your video.
Thanks for the heads-up. Crossed off my shopping list..LOL!
Omg thank you so much! I almost bought this!
This is the very reason I did not choose the Dyson which one can buy sometimes at Costco. They need to fix the problem before they get my money . Excellent review.
Thank you for this. With summer approaching, I was thinking of buying a Dyson fan and will now look elsewhere.
I am all to familiar with that piercing noise! I went through 3 TP09 returns with all doing the same thing. I even tried a TP07 like this one here, developed the exact issue as well. I gave up at that point. Good news though at least with the TP10, the issue does not exist. I have two of them now. First one I have had for 6+ months with no noise issues. The second one I just purchased a couple weeks ago and that one is fine as well. Dyson has definitely done something to remedy this issue at least with the TP10.
That noise would drive me nuts.
It’s insane how many people need silence to sleep. I cannot do it. I need that noise to fall asleep otherwise the silence drives me nuts. Edit****
Nvm I just got to the ringing noise part 😂 yeah hell no! I couldn’t do it!
I love the design and the aesteticly... Big fan of fan.
Can you review an anti-dust one like the Blueair but more compact?
Does the govey also blow backwards, please?
I baught a cordless v40 less than a year the battery failed ,and replaced the battery by Dyson and for the price is really disappointing. Make's me wonder how will hold in the future 🤔
no mention of how well it cools or heats the room...?
We have it and will be returning it. It doesn't cool we'll, unfortunately.
@@brownbuffalouno thanks
I bought the same model last month 😁👌
How’s it faring so far ?
This noise will go away. Happened on 2 different purifiers. Haven't bothered to go to replace. Stopped at some point.
You just saved me 1k thank you
Thank you for this review. I came here because I saw an ad for this Dyson. That noise will be annoying. I'm about to check out your other video about the Air Purifier. Protect this man at all cost people! Lol
How about the TP10, does it make noise as the TP07 also?
TP10 is fine. I have two of them and one is 6+ months old.
Yup can agree, I get the same high pitch sound from mine, sent it back to dyson and they sent me a new one which got the same sound again...honestly rubbish!
Had mine for about 3 years and now it’s unusable because of the noises. Not just when it turns but also when it’s still. I mostly just use this during allergy season so it’s not running 24-7 all year and I was hoping to get more years out of this. I’m about to take it apart and see if I can find/grease the problem but really disappointed in this product and Dyson as a company.
Agreed for this price it suppose to be dead silence.
Any affordable alternative to this?
Watch the end of the video, I outline two routs you can go. But haven't really seen a bladless fan + purifier that's a lot cheaper. - Josh
$50 buy s box fan and put a furnace filter on it, not fancy but does same thing.
doesn't have cooling or heating..
4:28 Aircraft FM¡
they also outsourced customer support late last year, and its been awful. I had to wait for almost half a year to get a refund etc. Awful awful
Great Video. Wanted to buy the Air purifier/humidifier combo originally (basically a better model of the pure cool)
But reviews of all of these dyson models have been terrible, especially on reddit. Also saw it in a store and it seemed very cheap/ugly for the price.
Until you own a dyson product you think it's a quality product. Then you realize that they are far from it. Every single dyson product I owned had annoying issues. Just look at their products in public bathrooms and you'll see. Their marketing department is genious selling you the appearance of quality products but the engineering department can't deliver.
Why didn’t you give it back? Its faulty
Impor DENTLY ?????
Not got an issue.
Very common issue on all second gen Dyson purifiers
The heater/cooler is awesome, why would anyone buy just the cooler?
If you have a proper heating system already. The Dyson hot cool's just use resistive heating to generate the heat which is terribly inefficient compared to most other methods of heating
If you live in a place where it doesn't get cold, then you don't need a heater.
We’re fine in Australia trust me
I'm sorry, what?? 650 for a less efficient fan that can't even cool air? What a piece of junk. A $15 Honeywell outperforms it easily.
yikes - Dyson the spaceship!
Dyson is just overpriced and not the best quality and dreo makes good quality smart fans and my dreo smart fan had a software defect and they replaced it and they paid for the shipping and vornado 20 dollar fans have a 3 year warranty and their dc fans have a 10 year warranty and their 30 dollar and up fans have a 5 year warranty and they will pay for the shipping
Ngl Dyson is shit their products are not as good as they make them out to be there are far better products on the market what's annoying is they charge a premium and it's not even justified
