Yeah, think how proud his girls must have been the day they found out Dad was pressuring women who worked for or with him to watch him masturbate. For years. Talk about teenage girl trauma.

Yeah it's funny, he got famous by making fun of his kids and his inadequacies as a parent, and he portrays himself as a shitty human in his standup. But when you listen to the way he talks about his kids outside of standup you can tell he's a fucking great dad.

The best years of my life were when I was living in Denver with a girlfriend who worked an identical 4 days on/3 days off schedule, so every week we had 3 days to take road trips. We'd just pick a direction or a highway we hadn't been down before, and head out and figure everything out on the way or once we got to some interesting location. There were a few nights where we had to sleep in my car, but I had a hatchback with fold-flat seats and plenty of blankets, it was always fine.

His priorities didn’t change enough for him to cease doing his crappy public masturbation behavior, so his children wouldn’t be traumatized when multiple women who worked for or with him finally couldn’t take it anymore and went public.

There is nothing in life more pleasurable and meaningful than spending time with your kid… watching them grow and experience things are very exciting but when they grow up to be your friends that’s the ultimate prize.
I feel very sorry for people who sacrifice parenthood for empty things like hobbies or careers… no sympathy for those who sacrifice it for alcohol or drugs or cheating.

We can turn to nature to understand the principles of parenting. Look at a bird nest for instance, it’s made for the babies and one parent. That gives the other parent time for feeding, and it’s done with a constant rotation. Human parenting should be much like that, since we are more complex as a species, we need mental time to recharge and get back in the game for the rotational period.

truth. Most of us have to work full time, sometimes over time and multiple jobs. It makes being spontaneous very difficult. Everything has to be planned in advance. And if you don't do the thing, you might have no idea when you'll get the chance again.

who demands to share the chores simultaneously? i don't have kids, but i have only heard that either both split the chores (like work different shifts, or one works and one is at home) or there is dark bitterness. hanging out to watch your spouse watch the kids isn't a real person. a real person would be too tired to do that shit. thanks dudes.
