I think another hard lesson that needs to be talked about is being let down when things don’t go your way or they don’t go as expected. There were many times i as a leader expected a yes and for my leaders to see my vision and they sometimes didnt and it caused some hurt feelings but I learned how to balance what I wanted vs what was needed.
It’s not enough just to show up. Running I livestream is like (insert crazy analogy). You need to want to develop an understanding of the setup and how to quickly troubleshoot issues and fix them, especially if you caused them. Don’t let misplaced pride ruin the church’s work.

OBS has a record feature on the panel. You just have to tell it where to record. go into the settings, then go to output, set output mode at the top to advance, then hit the recording tab next to the streaming tab, you will see recording path, then just select the path you want your recordings to go to. you can do that without streaming just by clicking record from the panel.
