Her autobiography is phenomenal and the first one I have read by an actor that felt like a truly honest exploration of how living with Complex Trauma is after childhood sexual abuse as well as abuse in adulthood. She's brave and I'm so grateful for her honesty and for her vulnerability and truth allowing other women to understand things about themselves that perhaps they haven't ever known were a result of CSA.

I grew up as a fan since we were high school drama class rivals in the San Fernando Valley in the mid 60's. She was good even then! Although having an actor father helped get her "in the door" she still had to be good enough herself to win the auditions, and she did. A beautiful human being besides. Incredible actress & I still love her hair. As a young girl, I so wanted to be Gidget. In 1971, I was just out of high school & working in an upscale kids’ clothing store in the Century City mall (L.A.). Sally came in to buy some baby things. At under 5’ she was so tiny, but the hugest pregnant woman I’d ever seen! I thought sure I’d hear that she delivered triplets. She didn’t. Good to see her aging with dignity.
