That’s a pretty sweet kayak! Nice to see that it works. I’m disabled and carrying a regular kayak isn’t possible anymore. This might actually work for me. Thanks for the video! From Ohio, USA
You are my favorite youtuber for years. Love the hot tent videos or the old natural shelters when you brought a wood stove. Always look forward to Wednesday
@@schambers8301 It can be under the wrong weather conditions. Also in summer it could be dangerous to make fire, starting a fire can be difficult if you have no idea what you're doing. In some countries there are wild animals that could be dangerous like bears or wolfs so it's actually not that easy considering everything.
Just trying to remember everything to bring with you can be a challenge you have all your regular things at home even the smallest thing can set you back, like a csn opener lol. You need to prioritize setting up your camp. Hope you give it a try maybe close to home in case you do forget something. 😊
Watching yours and Simons kayaking adventures this winter inspired me to go for an early morning paddle on the River Hamble to see the sun come up. Its so relaxing being out on the water so early. Thank you for making these videos.
I can't get over how warm it looks where you are. Here, the temps are dropping rapidly, and we're hunkering down for several days of snowstorms. You picked such a pretty spot! Always a pleasure to watch.

Great video Andy! Just as I was thinking that kayak is too close to that fire, you moved it! Yes the kayak is actually pretty cool, but I would think it couldn't take much abuse in a river with rocks or even light rapids. Certainly perfect for your trip today! Thanks for taking us along!! Stay safe, warm and healthy!
Yay Andy doing some real adventure camping again Rather than living the luxury easy camp life he has been doing lately. This is when he's at his best in my opinion.
Lovely video Camping and bush skills should be encouraged and the youngsters educated , it’s such a healthy pursuit . Having to camp like we are criminals is criminal
I've been following for around 2 years and I've got to say I look forward to the new videos, very calming and peaceful other than the odd capsized canoe 😀
Think this is the perfect camp Andy. The Kayak is brilliant, will definitely keep that company in mind. Love that drone shot of the camp with the tent, wood and boat. Great content as usual.
I remember you capsizing, when I saw the notification for this video, I think I'd had a stroke! Take care, always thanks for posting! 💯🤘🖖🍻 The steak looks perfect! No potatoes!? 😭😝🤣
Same here. I hate camping and stuff like that yet I am obsessed with his videos. His joy makes me smile. And my little kids watch too and they keep asking when we're going camping. Lol. I told them to ask their mom because she loves camping.

Hi Andy from the start of your video I knew exactly where you were 😉 I won't mention the location but grew up around there and I have several islands on the Thames I wild camp on that I'm.always willing to share the location with yourself. I know its outside the "Kent" area but it's always there for a future video Take care and keep up the great work 👍
I used a porta bote dinghy (same folding polypropylene construction) back in the 90's, great idea but I didn't inspire me with confidence on anything other than flat water, a seahopper or tinker is much better but then they're much heavier and bulky. If you haven't got anything else, at least it gets you out on the water.
I've coveted one of those for many years and always said once my blow up one dies. I might treat myself with one of these folding ones. Saying that the good old sevalor is still going nearly 10 years later, So who knows. Good to see you out.
Nice one Andy. That boat 's an interesting concept. I know that river well and have camped along it using my Helium 2 ! It's a great tent for almost any means of transport and I should imagine you could actually carry the boat and gear in one go.
That thing looks like a possible alternative to a packraft... I never felt comfortable in inflatable vessels, so this might be a thing to try out. Guessing it's heavier but by the looks of it not to bad.
These kayaks look very usable and roomy. Not sure if it's actually a kayak or a canoe, but definitely better than an inflatable. Great video Andy, thanks!
It's come camping with Andy then it's his favourite cooking lessons for us all he's getting good at showing us all how to cook while camping great video Andy keep them coming
So the big adventure on the water drew attention to get you into another water adventure... looks like you're a good representative for the product, and you didn't have any issues with it...
Andy, love that you tried something new. That folding kayak is sweet. You'll have to do more trips with that. Hey, if you go back and watch your video, you show your tent pitched when you are sorting your firewood. Then you went and pulled your tent out of your dry pack and set it up. First error in editing that I have ever caught. Great video. Love your adventures!
Hey! Great to see you out on my patch!! I am a local to this spot and canoe on the river on that stretch very regularly. (Shame I missed you!) I have not camped there yet, so may give it a go later this spring. Fascinating folding kayak. Excellent for lightweight solo trips. I have a Novacraft Trapper 12 in Tuff Stuff which weighs in at 17 kg, which means I can manage it on and off my truck and any portages I need if the canoe passes are closed. 9kg is amazing though! I look forward to seeing more of your trips with it. ⛺🔥🛶🙂
Both you and Simon are both excellent campers, I got a new hot tent and I took it out for a two day camping trip, I was very pleased when I got it I set it up in my back yard to test it for leaks, she was good to go, so I packed and took a couple of days . In this video I watched you with this folding battle ship now I see you were safe it now I want one
