I was too lazy to research the tech specs myself so the video was very much appreciated. You sold me on the 3K Pro, just ordered it halfway through your video :D
Thank you for this - Subbed & liked - not sure how could you have so less subscribers - but wishing all the very BEST - Great way of story telling & content :-)
This is a video I should watched the moment it came out. Thanks for this informative video. I almost had a breakdown myself just watching it. Ha ha ha!
I had the slr zoom (3k) for a year and using it not more than 10-15 times it broke up the balls on the legs started to pop out they lost their flexibility as result it become unstable. So hopefully 3k Pro is a lot more durable, which is the one I'm thinking buying.
I found that the pro is a lot more reliable than the standard version, with it being metal it adds a lot more reliability and the joints don’t become lose like the 3k. I find myself using it for everything that’s needs a flexible grip, not just the camera but lights and other stuff too
Still strong, joints have loosened a bit but in no way feel unstable. The legs still need a decent amount of force to adjust so they don’t feel like they are going to randomly give out on you even with heavier setups and lenses.
As long as you have a phone clamp that can screw into a tripod mount it shouldn’t be a problem, however joby offers cheaper versions of the gorillapod specifically for phones if that’s all you need
Just got mine on eBay cause they offer the square trade warranty cause I am sick of broken Joby junk. No where else not even Joby will honor their crappy product, trust me after 6 of them I love hate Joby. I will do a video once I get it and display my Joby cemetery

It’s been 3 years now, how it has been holding up? The 3K pro kit?
Great job at comparing and describing the difference which I was not finding anywhere else. Thanks. Helped a great deal.
Amazing review! Thank you!

Did you shoot the b-roll of this video with the Canon M50 too? It looks really nice.

How’s the 3K pro holding up after months/years of use?
Still strong, joints have loosened a bit but in no way feel unstable. The legs still need a decent amount of force to adjust so they don’t feel like they are going to randomly give out on you even with heavier setups and lenses.
perfect review!
Good video, man!
I am waiting for my 3k pro to show up tomorrow
Great Video!!
Can I mount my phone in 3k pro aswell?

Nice Video, very informative
Great Video. Very god comparison.
for me i will buy the joby 3k slr-zoom model cuz its handy and cool design
Good Video!
Love you ❤️
Thanks for the review, Tristan - we have the older Joby too. Got it a few years ago - I'm just trying to justify the purchase of the newer one lol
someone bought the PM Sound Pack ;) like it . me too
Gotta get those mouth sounds

so you're telling me the 3k non pro is kind of... trash. The unreliable QR plate is big deal breaker.
great video! really enjoyed it! can't believe you only have 40 subscribers - I'm #41 :)
Joby charging $100 for a PLASTIC leg on the newer GorillaPod 3k is absurd. Might as well get a cheap amazon knockoff since its all plastic anyways
