I took off a good 2 and 1/2 inches, and the difference is remarkable. And I love the layers! Still had an easy time of using a flattening iron to curl. To those of you who have yet to "gut up" and do this... if you follow her instructions, you cannot ruin your hair.

I gotta say I am STOKED at how this video helped me cut my hair, now I've got thick layers, not one layer like you do my dear, but I sperated my top half like the beginning, then did the sides, back . It is perfect, now I've got a heart treatment in it otherwise I would video it, next time. Wow this helps

Now, with your instructions, I am able to do this without having to rely on anyone else (and risk them misunderstanding what I want). Once before my best friend's marriage, I got a professional haircut. It was so awful, and he cut my hair really short which took really long to grow out. This was in 2016. Since then I cut my own hair and this is the same method I use. I am glad you shared this. Somehow it is a step towards becoming self-dependent.😊
