I've seen other videos of quick connect hoses but my quick connect didn't want to come off so easily. I found a way to disconnect without damaging anything.
God man thank you sooooooo f***ing much. I was working on my 2000 silverado for an hour and couldn't get it off using the quick disconnect tool, and like you said in all the other videos it pops right off. Used your needle nose plier idea and it worked great! Saved my ass man, thank you!
You can look at those the wrong way and they'll break on those older trucks, whatever plastic polymer combo they used on those gets particularly brittle with age...
Bro that's the one i'm dealing with right now this thing sucks balls....... It's so brittle. I can't even grip it with a needle nose. I have a nightmare on my hands. even though I bypassed the system. I gotta get it done because it's getting stupid cold outside.
Tell me why this popped up right after i got a heater core out everything went smooth untill i got to that left quick disconnect.. ended up just pulling hose off quick connect and passing whole thing threw fire wall
What I did is I got a torch in a long handle screwdriver I hated it till it was red hot and melted it right off, it will save you a lot of time I tried and tried to get it off and never came off so I just burned it off melted that off right away it works try it. God bless you my brothers and sisters ✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸

I just use a long flat head screwdriver and my 3lb hammer. Hit the top and bottom plastic tab things. Slide right off after.
Fellas? I cannot seem to get the white or the orange fitting to work

What size did you use
They're generally color coded. I believe the white is 7/8".
they are called quick connect, not quick disconnect for a reason. pure junk.
You got that right!!
